I didn't have much cash with me today and was on a tight budget. I asked the cashier how much the yogurt cost: She said she didn't know and rolled her eyes. This got me pretty annoyed. It was as if she was just waving me off and my words were like a fart in the wind. When she told be the price, I barely had enough money: by 3 cents!! Phew. The yogurt was just okay. It had this cloy taste of artificial sweeteners and stuff from chemistry lab. The interior was quite dirty too, with some spills and not enough seating. read more

Straight up butt cheeks. The place was dirty. The women working the register looked like she hated her life, hated the kids in her store, and was taking personal calls and told another customer to hold on as she was on the phone. The variety of flavors they have are great. My favorite is the cookies and cream. I do wish you can try the flavors before actually buying them. I always freak out on the toppings area since they have so many to choose from. I tend to pack everything in my cup. For example they have chocolate to marshmallows to peanut butter to cookie dough not to mention poppables and gummy bears! It is expensive that's the down fall and the place needs a little up dating it feels damp, cold and sad. I would say that the employees are okay I wish they would introduce themselves and ask if we need any help. I must say that they make sure every customer is wearing a mask and puts on gloves when handling yogurt. We made a mess putting on the toppings because who is kidding here there are so many toppings to choose from you can get carried away haha. The employee immediately went over and cleaned it up. The hours are wrong on the web site and directions app. The staff just shrugs and say yeah it's wrong. Not worth the trip.

Came sunday around 9:40PM and the doors were locked. Two girls were sitting there eating yogurt and laughing. I kept knocking until one came to the door and said what do I want? I told her they aren't supposed to be closed and asked if they were refusing to service me. She continued to ask what flavor of yogurt I want but I wanted to come in myself and do it. They continued to laugh and treated me with zero respect. She then said they are closed due to them having to catch the bus. Yapple yogurt use to be so clean and a professional friendly environment but the whole interaction was hostile and toxic. I hope that in the future yapple yogurt will hire and train these young people to be respectful to their customers. read more

I have food allergies and every single time I have been to this Yapple Yogurt the employees have been beyond helpful with providing the allergy binder, recommending which toppings would be good and getting toppings out of the back especially for me (to avoid cross contamination. ) Not all places are as accommodating as Yapple, especially for a frozen yogurt place! Ok basic choice I know, but you can never go wrong with some delicious cheap yapple yogurt. The area is alright when there isn't all those little kids around that smell like shit;I wish they would wash themselves before their parents take them to a public ice cream shop. Anyways, they recently changed their "cheesecake" ice cream and replaced it with "Jasmine green tea" which is one of the greatest switches of all time for those with a more sophisticated palette. My freaking favorite ever. My recommendations for flavors are STRAWBERRY, VANILLA, AND GREEN TEA. Don't skip out on the MOCHI that they have at the topping station . Self service frozen yogurt and pay by weight. I can't count the number of similar joints I've been to in my life, but this place is definitely the most EXPENSIVE. I usually pay 33-40 cents per ounce but this almost double. Still, they have some unique flavors that can't be found around the area like taro, so my husband insists on returning. PS, you're also paying for the cup itself as part of the weight, just in case you're wondering. read more

Good frozen yogurt, but nothing special and definitely more expensive than other places I've been. Additionally, most (if not all) of their flavors are whole milk-based, which I wish they had more low-fat options. I came here with my baby nephew for a wonderful dessert after a long day of hanging around in the city! My nephew told me he wanted to try fro yo and I said well let's go to Yapple Yogurt. When we arrived the staff was very friendly and the environment was very child like with beautiful paintings on the wall, just perfect for kids! They even had little chairs for us to sit in if we wanted to dine in. So there's a fun process to getting your frozen yogurt which is so cool! First you get a cup, then you choose your flavor of yogurt. My nephew decided he wanted the birthday cake frozen yogurt and I helped him with getting the yogurt in his cup. I also decided to get the birthday cake as well. Next we moved to the toppings and my nephew's face was priceless when he saw the wonderful display of toppings. I guess he thought he was in dessert heaven!! Lol I asked him what did he want and he was instantly ready to grab everything! The toppings arrange from fruit to cake and candy pieces. They also had whipped cream and sprinkles just so much to choose from! After we finish selecting our toppings we put it on the scale to get paid and I must say it's pricey! their only downfall. I'm highly disappointed. I've been coming here for a year or so and my toddler and I love it. Went in the other day and we were asked to leave because my two year old wasn't wearing a mask. She left crying unable to understand why she wasn't getting the ice cream I promised her. Governor Wolf's mask requirement applies to children over two and excludes those with health issues who are unable to wear a mask. There's no reason why I shouldn't have been able to spend a few minutes in this shop to get my kid some frozen yogurt. Tried emailing the owner(s) and never received a response. This specific location looks ran down and dirty. I was there yesterday and felt so bad for the cashier as there were a group of 8 teenagers that went in proceeded to put ice cream in their hands, threw the fruit all over the store, and then took their bowls ate them right in-front of the cashier and then put them on the scale. To me this is now an unsafe environment and like I said I feel extremely sorry for the cashier who in a way had to keep her mouth closed or I'm sure the kids would have just jumped her. read more

After a bite to eat at Al Dar, I decided to get dessert at Yapple Yogurt. I walked in and was quickly greeted by Jordan. I got a mixture of both tart and cookies and cream. The tart was a bit bland, but it came out nice and cold. The cookies and cream was all runny and warm. However, I notified Jordan about the problem and he took action. He actually checked the machine and he found that the inside was too warm. He told me he would notify the manager. I could not help, but ask for his name for this review! Jordan also was cleaning everything up when the lines were down. They had a nice variety of toppings as well including fruit and candy. However, there were some other problems the tables were old and scratched up. They also had signs about sitting on the furniture that contradicted what other signs said. Two words: So. Good. There is frozen yogurt and then there is amazing frozen yogurt. This place has amazing frozen yogurt. It looks like one of your typical froyo places, with ample space between furniture and a few tables outside to sit and enjoy. I tried the raspberry lemonade, I believe it was (something lemonade!) with the cookies and cream (no I didn't mix, they were side by side) with a few toppings which were very fresh. They had brownies and of course I had to put a few on the cookies and cream side, and they were absolutely delicious. Overall, I liked the place and the froyo. I will definitely be going back. S E R V I C E : The lady at the counter was polite and friendly. V I B E : Laid-back atmosphere. D E S I G N : Very modern design and clean aesthetic. I think it's a bit too spacious however, which is weird to say but let me explain. Due to the vast amount of empty space in Yapple, eating there feels awkward and secluded. Not sure if that makes sense but that's my take on it. P R I C E : As other reviewers have stated before me, it's definitely a bit pricier than other froyo locations. Might be the last time we come here. Been customers since they opened, but have watched the store deteriorate. It needs a deep cleaning and an overall refresh, as the wallpaper is peeling, the logo on the wall is fading, and they basically write-over the flavor signs as they haven't updated them. My frozen yogurt obsession is getting dangerous. This is the second different place I've hit up today. I was in the area, and decided to add another froyo place to my list. The fact that they had a check in deal to offer helped. This place is basic. 12 flavors, kind of in the middle of the spectrum of what these places offer. 49 cents an ounce is standard. Good amount of toppings available. The staff was very nice, and I noticed they did a lot of cleaning while I was there. Good touch. The free cups of water were available at the counter. It's getting so I expect it at these places. I sampled a few flavors. The Candy Bar Mashup was probably the one that hit me the most. It was kind of like tasting a Snickers bar in a yogurt. That's the one I might drive back for. Cookies and cream was pretty good. The chocolate here tastes a little better than most places make it. The banana cream yogurt was probably a little too tart for my taste. 3 stars feels right to me on this place. But it is a solid 3 stars. read more

Apparently the saying is :"a yapple a day keeps the doctor away". This was the old maggie moo's turned into a fro-yo place, i liked maggies but this was a good idea also. Main line area, surrounded by several eateris, walking traffic and on a hot muggy nite this is a spot to hit up. Had the vanilla and mixed it up with some caramel pretzel flavored yogurt....added some crushed brownies and crushed oreos. was pretty good, price is .49 an ounce but with the help of yelp and the 10%off deal by checking in .. i added some more to my cup. One thing I didn't see was a waffle cone cup... and some of the toppings were different from the other spots I've been to. Place was packed seeing the kind of night we have, looked clean... only thing they need to do is change the colors a bit.. that needs to go... women behind the counter were nice and helpfull. good stuff read more

I have always been a great supporter of Yapple Yogurt. However, today marks my last day ever at tendering this establishment. All day today, I craved frozen yogurt and Yapple is always my go to spot. I, for one, love a good late night dessert, so the fact that Yapple is open until 10:30 pm is very exciting to me. I walked up to Yapple at 9:59 pm. The door was rudely shut and locked on my face and the 3 marking the 30 in 10:30 was scratched off. I knocked on the doors to get the attention of the worked inside, yet they chose to look away and ignore my presence. I have never been treated so poorly before. If your establishment clearly closes at 10:30 and not 10:00, then you stay open until that time. If Yapple Yogurt does, however, close at 10:00pm, maybe you should look into updating your information online. read more
