Perfect sweet treat during the heatwave that's here. There were many options of ice cream, even several vegan flavors not just sorbet which my friend appreciated as she is gluten and dairy free. They had four different cone options, including a pretzel cone. I enjoyed my classic vanilla soft serve which was prepared quickly. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They have a menu much more expansive than just ice cream though; you can stop in for fried foods to satisfy both sweet and salty cravings. Roux requested a pup cup while I ordered my typical: a soft serve vanilla cone with rainbow sprinkles. Both items were very good! I ordered the smallest cone option which was still a little too much ice cream for me, but it was a great quantity for the price! The location is great for walking around Manayunk or stopping in after a dinner somewhere further down Main Street, and the staff was quick in completing orders. This is our super casual date place. We like to ride our bikes here a couple times a month (it's about a 6.5 mile ride). Get an ice cream - relax and people watch - and ride home. If a customer goes through all of this just to get a damn hot dog, you should at least give a discount because other than a hot dog what can I get for $3 bucks? An order of Fries? If I could I would give them a negative star for customer service. I'm Visiting from Hawaii. Decided to get some dessert after dinner. Came across this place on yelp had good reviews. Went there and immediately was given attitude from the cashier when I asked about the differences in ice cream prices for the banana split. Then more attitude when she asked me about ice cream flavors and even more attitude when I only wanted strawberry and upgrade to hot fudge versus chocolate sauce. When she gave me the total I handed her a $100 then she rolled her eyes and said we don't take that. So I said Okay...cancel my order. A few years ago I would've rated this place a 2 or worse. The cheesesteaks used to be dry and bland. Now the cheesesteaks are good. I don't know if it will top any lists, but it is juicy and definitely hits the spot when craving a cheesesteak, especially after hours. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Chicken Italiano. Personally I would prefer sharper cheese, but they use actual chicken pieces instead of the Steakumm-like chicken! Clearly some effort has been made to turn this place around. I LOVE Chloe's Corner! This is my favorite local spot to grab Italian ice and ice cream. It's located at the end of Main Street in Manayunk. They also have both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is a very cute, summer vibe for your local ice cream shop. They have seating on the side of the ice cream window (sort of along a deck with tables/chairs umbrellas) and then if you go down some steps there's more seating that has a park feel to it. Dog friendly! I've had a cone with their pralines & cream and it was so delicious. Second time I had their tie dye Italian ice and it was the best I've ever had. Third visit I got food and ordered chicken tenders and fries and it was quality! Since then, I've been sold. 3 consistent visits is impressive.
