We came in for lunch we were a group of 11, service from the start was great. We were first helped out by Tony and he let us know our actual waitress was going to be someone else a young lady with a name I unfortunately can't remember due to it was difficult to even pronounce she was kind and attentive. She was taking care of our table and a couple other tables as well seemed like she was very busy nonetheless she seemed to have it all under control because our drinks would be refilled without even needing to ask and how happy she was to help us out. After we had asked for our checks we witnessed the guest next to us constantly complain about something and raise her voice at our waitress while she would be at our table. It would have been nice to see her get some help or a manager to de-escalate the situation. That's the only reason I'm leaving a 4 star and not a 5 because food was fine, service was great but to see someone absolutely struggle and get no help from management or another waiter was sad almost. I recommend you go to The Yard House for Happy Hour from 3pm-6pm Monday-Friday. This is when you get the most for your money. I went this past Friday and I got the bbq chicken pizza, cheeseburger sliders white garlic truffle fries, boneless chicken wings, poke nachos, and lemonade plus tip $48.00. Normally this would cost you about $90.00/96.00 after 6pm. The servers are amazing and friendly. Most of them are on point but I did have one that tried it. That person will be in my second problem. The only problem I've had the last couple of times I went was one the calamari is to greasy. Yes, it fried so there's going to be some greasy but my tongue should feel like the calamari left a greasy skid mark down the middle of it. I force feed myself the first time but the second time I could do it and I love calamari. The second thing on a different visit was the lobster pasta. Was so looking forward to tasting this but was so let down. When it came to the table I started having a mental conversation with myself. I was like "Gurl, I know this is not what I'm paying $26.00 for?! Where's the rest of it? Where's the presentation? Where's the pop and the color? Why are my noodles so small? Why did the chef cook these thin a$$ noodle for so long? Did someone tell the chef I had no teeth or I was on a soft food diet? Hell did my baby shrimp have babies and this is the out come? Was the only thing lobster on my plate the claw?" That being said, it had to go back. But the funny thing about that was the server noticed the pasta was over cooked and still gave it to me. I looked at the server and said "You knew this was some BS but you still served it? Wow!" People please watch what you eat and if it doesn't look right or taste right send that BS back. I have been to many of the other Yard House chains including this one. What I really like about the Yard House is how enormous the bar is, I don't always like "dining" but rather sit at the bar, order some food and watch the games. I met up with a friend for happy hour, which ends at 6:00 pm an hour earlier than most restaurants in the area. Mike our bartender mentioned that the reason is that they are always busy, they don't necessarily need an extended happy hour. I conquer Mike, their happy hour menu has great food and drink choices, as well as the regular menu. We ordered the margarita pizza, and Caesar salad which is big enough to share. The waiter up sold me on bread, but not the salad, soup, etc. Plate looked good. The only thing "spicy" was the shrimp. It had a nice amount of shrimp, andouille sausage and crawfish.
