I wouldn't be surprised if Buckle & Boots is one of the next places to go out of business on the Blvd. I attempted to bring my family (party of 6), including my 76 year old mother, to have a late dinner and was told that we had to pay $10 per person to enter. We were not there to "party," but to dine. When asked to speak to the manager, we were told the manager refused to speak with us. Security then was highly unprofessional and in my opinion, racist, referring to me as "Brother," while we are of no relation. They were extremely aggressive and then told my family to leave . Another group of 8 people behind us also left. They missed out on 14 customers. I wouldn't recommend Buckle & Boots. Spend your money at places where customers are respected and appreciated. read more

The place is like no other. Truly unique and worth checking out. Great vibe and good food, make sure to check them out if your in the area. Stopped by for dinner and tried a BBQ plate of two meats and got the tri tip and brisket. They both were so good and tender! Great mesquite flavor. The cornbread is to die for and you must get it if you come by. The loaded Mac n cheese is also amazing. You can't go wrong with either of this meals. Ashley was my server. She was amazing. She explained how the restaurant has a special event every first Thursday of the month where the chef creates a special menu (must reserve in advance). It sounded like an interesting experience to bring my friends to in the future. I ordered the brisket which comes with any two sides. I chose the wasabi coleslaw, and the corn bread for a surcharge. The corn bread melted in my mouth and was soft and buttery. I was definitely able to taste the wasabi, and my sinuses were cleared. It does have a little kick to it, so if you want or need something that is very mild or close to bland, do not choose the coleslaw. I liked my food and had to take home leftovers. She mentioned that Thursdays tend to be slower during the week, so if you need to stop and get a good BBQ meal, this place is it. read more

Really enjoyed hosting our company party here. Ria was fantastic leading up to the event and making sure that we had everything covered. Our server, I'll call her "M", was awesome. She told us her name at least twice but we're too low on short term memory to hold onto those moments. She seemed to welcome my ex-husband's crude jokes, to his delight and pride. We all enjoyed the food. Bogo "munchies" for happy hour is a good deal. I had the wings with maple sriracha sauce. I went back-to-back days and had two completely different experiences and I wasn't sure I was gonna come back... I went on Thursday the 15th with my husband and a friend. Food was AMAZING! Atmosphere was great, but my biggest complaint is the reason I almost didn't go back. Who ever that young girl instructor was, you might want to rethink your hiring. She was so rude and honestly it just looked like she didn't even want to be there. I tried to ask her a question after the lesson and I got ignored so hard, it was difficult to not be embarrassed and uncomfortable. I know I'm not a dancer but It went from feeling really welcoming and fun to feeling like because you're not a dancer, you're not in the club. Stupid in my opinion. My husband convinced me to go back the next day, I think he just wanted the food again honestly. So we go again last night, Friday the 16th. And Let. Me. Tell. You. The instructor was the SWEETEST! She came up to us after the lesson, gave us a high five, introduced herself, I think she said her name was Kris. It was a night and day experience. I felt welcomed and accepted even though I'm not a professional dancer or 20 something years old. Pretty sure we came here every weekend for the first couple months after moving to Lancaster. Happy Hour on Saturdays from 3-6pm is so laid back and a great place to hangout with friends to grab a drink. They bring in live music around 6:30pm. The place really gets crazy on Friday nights though, so be prepared. Their DRINKS ARE AMAZING! I recommend the holy water drink or the knocking boots. Knockin boots literally tastes like fruit punch. These two drinks are so sweet you can barely even tell there is alcohol which is my favorite kind of drink. If you are gonna buy a round of shots for your group and you want something DELICIOUS and SWEET, get the pink starburst shots! Food is yummy too. I love the mac n cheese. Came out for the night for fun, boot-scootin' energy to kick off my weekend. Boy, was I wrong-this instructor turned what should have been a lively hoedown into an awkward, off-kilter mess. From the moment I walked in, things went sideways. I greeted the instructor Caroline with a friendly "Howdy!" as you do in a country setting, but she completely misinterpreted it as some kind of flirty advance or pickup line. Her eyes widened like l'd just propositioned her mid-waltz, and she spent the time I stood there trying to be nice as some sort of look of anything other than a greeting. To top it off, the instructor looked like she'd just rolled out of bed after a rough night: hair all disheveled, clothes wrinkled and mismatched and she moved around the floor like she was half-asleep herself. Not upset exactly, but definitely not put-together-more like someone who'd rather be anywhere else. Her energy was flat and negative the whole time; she barely smiled, it felt draining instead of energizing. I left early, feeling more two-left-footed than when I arrived. If you're looking for a positive, engaging line dance experience, steer clear. This was a total boot-stor bust. This person is not welcoming and I came with a party of 15. You're not too young or too old, there are so many friendly line dancing and two step regulars here you'll make friends quickly. The staff deserves recognition too, my friends and I especially love the waitress Sheanna. She's on top of it every time even when it's busy and actually remembers the guests, learns their names and even remembers their previous orders and what they liked or didn't like. Instead of being superficial like most people in customer service she really puts in the effort to make drinking or dining at Buckle and Boots a more genuine experience that makes you want to keep coming and supporting the business. My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner here. It was pretty busy, but we were seated right away on a Friday night. We shared a house salad with blue cheese, spinach dip, and Mac and cheese with tri tip. Everything was fantastic. The blue cheese was homemade and there was a slight delay in serving it because they were making a fresh batch. That made it even more special. The Mac and cheese was my fave dish. If I could do 0 stars I would. The tall bartender with copper/brown long hair, she's kind of thick, she beat my friend up outside of the bar after getting us kicked out for absolutely no reason. She was insecure about us being there. My friend is 4'9 like me and that bartender was almost 6' Earlier in the night I had told her how pretty she was. And so for her to switch up and get us kicked out for no reason, we literally did nothing but dance, and then beat my friend up outside TWICE for no reason is sad. I called yesterday around 5:30pm to ask her name and they said to bring the cops to get her information. Meaning they're more worried about keeping her safe than their paying customers.
