I love this spot! The baked goods are always on point! When they have the burnt cheesecake slices, I can't resist! Their coffee is magical and staff are always knowledgeable about the menu items. It is a small spot so can't really sit here and work remotely though people have tried.

The infamous Nutella Dark chocolate Babka Loaf

My dearest friend Nicole, volunteered to drive me to Bklyn, as I contemplated all day to go; because trains in the 5 boros run on a holiday schedule or just don't operate sufficiently! Pure nightmare. And I just don't like driving to Bklyn. Anywho...we drove from Manhattan, in a monsoon, insane traffic on the FDR to buy the infamous Nutella Dark Chocolate Babka Loaf at Yardsale Cafe. OMG‼ in less than 1 hour. I called Yardsale Cafe, they close at 5pm on Saturday and Omri, said he'll wait for me because we were very closed. Nicole & I arrived at 4:58pm. The welcoming was priceless and genuine, as they prepared to close. I never felt rushed, and that my animated energetic personality was truly well received. Loved itIt was so well worth it, meeting OMRI, buying my Nutella Dstk Chocolate Babka Loaf, and tasting the most heavenly cookie ever, The deliciously soft, warm Butter Pecan cookie. Simply AMAZING & a MUST have. .Actually in three (3) hours, I had the time & pleasure of my life. We visited local eateries like PATTIEBELL, Jamaican Food. BEST Oxtails, WOW‼ Ok, I'm on a mission (i must pray about), to rate the top "5" things most people enjoy, seriously sort after and they are: (1) Babka Loafs (i.e. Nutella Dark Chocolate Babka Loaf), (2) all natural ice cream (i.e. Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory) & (3) Little dessert cakes (i.e. Honey Cake), (4) best cookies & (5) Best bialys (Orwasher's). From Manhattan, Bronx, Bklyn, Queens & Staten Island. As a consumer first, I matter, as my insight, candid truth, advice & experience that should never be bias. However, customer service & care does matter the most to me. Hospitality, Kindness & Customer Service can make or break any dish, food or menu, in my opinion. I've tried a few Babka Loaves, all leaves you wanting more...but which one hit it out the park with a home run? That's the question, so stay tuned...Thanks for reading; as I do really appreciate you & YELP for this ICONIC platform for you.

This place has the BEST pastries!! (Better than Winner imo!) The Nutella babka is unreal. A perfect sweetness, a soft laminated texture, and huge too! (I wish I had a picture before I devoured it). And the cinnamon roll is incredible! I like the mild cream cheese topping, and it's perfect warmed up. Don't miss out on this place!

Dark Chocolate Nutella Babka 10/10!!!! I had a piece of this last week and it was so good that I went by in the morning before I flew home so I could buy a loaf. I wish I had brought home five loaves. I have had babka before, such as a loaf from Trader Joe's, which was seasonal. It was actually chocolate as well, but I would say five out of 10 at best . The loaf from Yardsale seriously is solid 10/10, no way you will ever find a better babka.

It's just the best babka out there. I've tested it even on my babka purist friends who swear on Oneg's (which I think is mediocre) and I'd say it comes out ahead of Breads Bakery in a competition. I mean it's a nutella chocolate babka! Of course it's going to be fantastic. I haven't tried their other baked goods yet but will do on my next visit.

It was quite hot when I was strolling around with a friend and I needed something refreshing so I got the lemonade which was nice and tart. I don't know how I didn't notice at first but the whole place was full of collectibles just like a yardsale (hence the name)! It was a unique experience for a cafe and it was enthralling looking at everything they carried. The cafe had a familiar and comforting vibe.

I tried a few of their pastries and it was flakey and delicious. The service was also very kind. And the shop is super cute with many vintage items. It's fun to just browse around when passing by.

The only words that come to mind with which I can explain my encounter with this café is fated coincidence. As someone who lives on the border of Sunset Park and Park Slope, my allegiances are usually with businesses on the southern side of the invisible class divide. I left my yoga class on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, sunny with a cool winter breeze going through my ponytail'd hair. It must be divine intervention for when I turned around and looked at the red awning, I was immediately drawn to check out this unassuming little café, tucked in snuggly along a long exhaustive row of retail real estate. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. The inside of this café is so warm and welcoming with its utilitarian floor, and dark wood walls, with all sorts of knickknacks for sale, and an expensive collection of records, together with the faint trill of edgy music of Tame Impala. Walking in here felt like a big warm hug. I was in the mood for a treat so I went with the too much chocolate chip cookie. Easily one of the most delicious chocolate chip cookies I have ever had, it was gooey in the center, chock full of chocolatey goodness, and crispy around the edges, and on the outside. Just an absolute textural dream. For $4.50. I could not believe the quality of the baked good that I was chomping on. I will definitely be back here to try their other offerings, but I just absolutely had to come here to sing Praise to this beautiful little neighborhood nook.

    a finely curated yardsale cafe.

I can't not give this place rave reviews. It's a Time Machine to a childhood i partaked (partook?!!) in. OMG and they make one of all time favorite deserts-for-brunch: cheesecake. My aunt used to make it fresh for Thanksgiving. I'm not going to be there this year so it totally hit the spot. Nostalgia galore.

This place is phenomenal. Their burnt cheesecake is incredible, we get it instead of cake for birthdays and celebrations. Coffee is also great and the matcha lemon cookie is SO good. The service is excellent too, the baristas are super friendly and chatty, will ask about your day, etc. And honestly maybe the best part is that the interior is full of cool old stuff (like you'd find at a yard sale!) and you're never bored waiting for your order.

Great place in the neighborhood we were staying in for a coffee or pastry. A bit of nostalgia hits you when you walk in as they sell vintage trading cards! So many of my childhood memories came back so vividly. The coffee was great. The cinnamon roll was delicious. I missed out on trying a slice of the burnt cheesecake, but can't wait to try it next time.

The space is relatively small, with a line inside and outside and a few tables outside. The length of the line and wait time varies based on the time of day and if you go on a weekday vs weekend. Go early if you don't want them to sell out of anything or purposely go a little later if you want one of their lunch sandwiches on focaccia. I have had the tomato and garlic focaccia twice now and each time it has been exceptional. Minor critique, the slices of garlic could be a bit smaller. I also had the shakshuka focaccia which is divine and I would absolutely recommend both. I need to come back to try their sandwiches as well. I am not a sweets person, but everyone I know loves their pastries. Getting someone a gif tcard here makes for a great gift.

I'm usually more of a savory girlie but all the sweet items we tried were great, especially the rhubarb croissant and the earl grey morning bun. I really enjoyed the focaccia sandwiches (smoked salmon and pea/mint/feta were elite) and the artichoke green garlic slice. The flavor of the sesame stirato was excellent but the bread itself was a tad too chewy for the filling we got with it (tuna salad), so that style probably works better with the jambon beurre. Will definitely be on the rotation whenever I'm in the city -- would love to try some of their seasonal/limited edition items one day, though not sure if I have it in me to brave the lines that can form on the weekends, lol! We'll see :)

Radio Bakery... is perfection. I completely understand the line…read more I first ordered the heirloom tomato & feta sandwich, which was unbelievable. It is so clear that they use incredibly high-quality ingredients and carefully curate each component, which is exactly why everything comes together in such an elevated way. The tomatoes reminded me of the ones I grew in my garden during California summers as a teenager. Perfectly salted, layered over soft, not-too-tart feta. The focaccia was made with beautiful olive oil and, while a bit chewier than I usually prefer, gave the sandwich a satisfying bite. I had to close my eyes while eating it just to savor it. The chocolate cherry almond croissant... wow. Such a creative combination, and it did not disappoint. Soft, buttery, and filled with a sour cherry compote that reminded me of a cherry cordial from a box of chocolates. 5/5. Hainsley, who helped me, was exceptionally lovely. Everyone even in line was very nice, the vibes were awesome. I'll definitely be back to try the spicy tofu sandwich and the heirloom tomato tart!

While they didn't have their full selection available, there were still plenty of pastries to choose from. We ended up getting the vanilla kouign amann and the chocolate PB&J croissant. The kouign amann was flaky, buttery, and beautifully caramelized. The chocolate PB&J croissant was easily our favorite. It was filled with rich, decadent chocolate and a layer of jelly that balanced everything out without making it overly sweet. My significant other hasn't stopped talking about it since! We're already looking forward to coming back to try more.
