Cheddar Chive Posted with review 09/30/25

Colson Bakery is my latest find and addiction. I'm not going to be happy until I try all the scones and delicious pastries. They deliver to my local coffee shops and my favorite coffee shop bakery. The prices are higher than most pastries but they're worth a try. The unusual flavor combinations are what attracts me. I rarely ever saw Rhubarb Scones and these are delicious. First they had a traditional scone shape but the last ones I purchased were round scones. Some other flavors are Oat Cherry Corn Scone. Yeah three tastes in one scone! Apple Cheddar is an interesting combination. I like the Chocolate Chip and Blueberry too. The dough is very flavorful. The scones and rolls taste great heated in the toaster oven in the morning. If you are near a Colson patisserie I recommend you try the pastry. Otherwise do as I do and find them at your local bakery or coffee shop! Ask the employees who supplies their pastries. Twice recently I've been told Colson Bakery. I'm recommending you know who makes your meal! I'm also recommending Colson.

My all time favorite bakery for their almond croissant and chocolate almond croissants!!! It is quite pricey but worth it for occasional treat!

Enjoyed a tasty croissant and a chai latte. Came here after strolling through Industry City. The staff was very friendly to me and my group.

4.7/5 Pain au Chocolat: So impressed by the lamination, the quality of the chocolate and the buttery flavor! Would absolutely return to try some of their other breads and coffee! We came on a Friday afternoon 10 mins before closing and they were so nice to give us a couple baked goods with our purchase!

I came in because i needed a drink and breakfast. I waited in line and the line moved pretty fast. The staff member was so friendly and helpful in picking items. I got an iced mocha and an ice matcha drink. The drinks were both great. The mocha was chocolaty and the matcha was sweet but was still a bit powdery. I got a apple galette which was so sweet buttery and flaky. It was an amazing dessert. I always love oatmeal raisin cookies and theirs was soft floopy and perfect in every way. This is my favorite oatmeal raisin cookie that i wish i get this recipe to make on my own. The place is cute and small. They dont have any indoor seating but since its in the industry city you dont have to walk far to find a seat. I have to come back if only for the oatmeal raisin cookie!

Located in the heart of Industry City, luckily I found out about this coffee shop. It was packed when I arrived and figured it had amazing coffee. I got a medium iced latte with skim milk and I tasted the pure quality of the roasted coffee beans. The aroma was on point. Not watered down at all. They have a lot of pastries and cold cuts besides a set of coffee and drinks. Very hip and modern. There's no seating inside the shop so you have to resort to seating elsewhere inside Industry City.

This is the best spot to grab a coffee in Industry City. Order at the counter and grab a seat in the courtyard or lobby. Their pastries and cakes are all delicious, counter staff are friendly, service is swift, prices are average.

The shop is small and only has two small tables inside with additional seating outside. Has a great selection of pastries with a good amount of vegan options too. Went for a matcha latte which was made well. I actually prefer another shop a few blocks down for my matcha latte. I'd stop by again though. Staff were very friendly, however, service is a little slow.

Love their iced coffees and scones. I usually come because they open before other bakeries in the area so definitely great when I am in a scheduling crunch. A small coffee is $3.50 and their scones are $4. I wish they had more business, but this is on Floor 1, but all the one in the back of the block of Building 6? I believe. The workers are super friendly, but this is definitely to go or eat outside of the store in tables.

I often stop by industry city after work and get enticed by the perfect buttery smell that fills the whole place. But this spot is always closed by the time I get there, they close by 5 pm. Finally I stopped by on my off day. There were so many delicious looking pastries and I didn't know what to choose, so I did take a while to decide. Staff were very nice and patient, very friendly and welcoming, definitely makes getting coffee and pastries here a delight. I ended up getting an almond chocolate pastry and latte. The latte was in a very small cup, but it was really good. The pastry was very good also, I want to keep coming back to try every item at least once!

The pastries here are absolutely scrumptious. I recommend the almond croissant and the plain croissant. They're by far the best I've ever had. Their coffee is good too.

Their cold brew has dark and rich notes of chocolate and almond, which couldn't be more fitting for a pastry and bake shop. Whenever I'm in the neighborhood, I try and make a point to grab a cup here. And while I've only been here a couple of times, the staff has been polite, and the coffee has been consistent - the latter being an issue for many shops. Baked doesn't try to be too cool or anything other than what it is. It's an unpretentious bake shop that offers a perfectly chilled cold brew that deserves to be savored with each sip and doesn't break the bank. It's worth making the trip even and I'll be doing so, even if I'm not exactly in the neighborhood.

The star was the raspberry blondie. So. Good. We also got a lemon bar which was yummy and light. They were so good we got the savory biscuit, which I hate to say was great but probably my least favorite item, and a chocolate Carmel bar, which rivaled the blondie. Would definitely come back. In fact, told my mom who came with me this place was rated a 4/5 and direct quote "That can't be right! Are you looking at the right place?!"

They have limited hours and tend to sell out quickly, so on a Saturday I arrived around **11:40 AM**, about 20 minutes before opening, and was one of the first three customers inside (their maximum occupancy). This isn't a place to grab a quick coffee. The owner carefully prepares each drink by hand, so expect to wait about **30-60 minutes** if there's a line. I waited around 10-15 minutes after ordering, but honestly didn't mind because the space is so calm and peaceful. While waiting, I enjoyed browsing the aroma mists, smelling the candles, and just soaking in the serene atmosphere. It's the perfect spot if you're looking for a quiet moment by yourself. For drinks, I really enjoyed the **Black Sesame Latte**. It has espresso and was smooth, light, and well-balanced. I also tried the **Matcha Maple Latte**. The matcha itself tasted like excellent quality, but next time I'd skip the maple syrup since I prefer my drinks less sweet. We also sampled several pastries: * **Hojicha Cookie** - Soft and moist with melty chocolate chips. One of my favorites. * **Coffee Caramel Cookie** - Great if you love coffee. It had a rich, bold coffee flavor. * **Black Sesame Madeleine** - Nice black sesame flavor, though I would have loved a little more butter to make it even more moist. * **Yuzu Cake** - Beautifully decorated with an edible flower and packed with bright yuzu flavor. The cake was on the drier side though. * **Chocolate Cake** - Wonderfully moist and satisfying. The drinks were around **$8.50** each, and the cookies were about **$4** each, so it's definitely on the pricier side. For my Asian palate, most of the pastries leaned a bit sweeter than I prefer, but the drinks were excellent and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Overall, this is a lovely place to treat yourself once in a while. Come for the peaceful atmosphere, thoughtfully crafted drinks, and beautiful pastries.
