Excellent service. Kind staff, patient, clean dealership. it seems like a cliché term, but they do put the customer first always.

I wouldn't work with this dealership if I were you. When I bought my certified preowned vehicle I was told I would receive a second key, but they had to retrieve it from the previous lessee. They tried for 2 weeks without being able to retrieve it and then told me there was nothing they could do and refused to provide a second key. They also upsold me on useless warranty's and when I came back to cancel them they treated me like I was personally attacking them. attacking them. When I insisted that I wanted them removed the financial manager said "whatever I don't care anyway". On top of this the battery dies a week after I bought it. They obviously missed it or willfully sold me a bad battery and they refused to compensate me for the new battery. On top of this they repeatedly ignored my calls and failed to get back to me when I reached out. Overall I had a terrible experience and wish I never worked will them. The service manager is an extremely rude person. I am tired every time I call the service department to make an appointment you always get voice mail and have to wait for them to call you back. This is an everyday thing; they do not have enough help. I left a message that no one ever pick up and their customer service is terrible. I also told him that I had an oil change and one of the filters changed it cost me around 150.00. On top of that they are supposed to check wiper fluids levels and coolant and none of that was done. I checked before I left and nothing was topped off, Terrible. That was the reason for my call to the service manager. Mr Rudness!! I will never go back they will never get a dime of my money again. The service manager told me there are 260 0r 360 other Nissan dealerships around the country I could go to. You know when you pay for something you should get it. Ridiculous why do these people rip you off so bad. 150 dollars and they can't even check wiper fluid ect, ect. Then to tell me go somewhere else when you complain that things weren't done. You know what I am going to buy a new car here soon and you know what they will never get a drop of my money again!! Do not go to this place they don't need your business and don't do what you pay for in my situation. Stay away!! read more

I recently bought a 2018 Nissan Rogue from Yark Nissan. Ultimately its my fault I didn't notice these issues. However, I was assured the vehicle went through Yark Nissan's 77-point inspection. Since buying it, the brake lights didn't work properly. Another driver told me of this just one week after buying the vehicle. Once fixed, the turn signal then didn't function properly. They also fixed that, and, to their credit, they covered both costs. I was told that the rear light units were inserted upside down by "someone prior to Yark getting the vehicle." I guess brake lights and turn signals aren't on their inspection list. The battery just died (3 weeks after buying the vehicle) and had to be replaced. Now I found out the heater doesn't work. When I went to use the defrost due to a foggy windshield, no heat was coming out even though the temperature knob was cranked all the way to hot. It was blowing cold air and the car had been running for several minutes (10 minutes or more). So much for the 77-point inspection. When they tell you a car you're interested in "went through their 77-point inspection program", ask them if the car actually stopped and was inspected, or if it just rolled "through" their shop. I'm not sure mine actually stopped in the shop to be inspected. Also, at the time I bought the car, I was told by the salesman (Josh) that they would create a second key fob for me as the vehicle only had one. I called a couple days after buying my car to see if the key fob to be used in making the second fob had come in. The salesman told me it would "take a couple weeks to get it in and he would call me". After 4 weeks of not "getting a call", I stopped into the dealership to find out if the fob had come in. At that point, they said yes and then got me scheduled to make the second fob. read more

Do NOT use the service department here unless you want to experience terrible customer service. I brought my truck in for an oil change on a Saturday morning without an appointment as I have many times in the past. This time however the service advisor rudely told me I had to have an appointment and that I would have to come back at a later date. There was only one other customer there. Oil changes and tire rotations don't take that long so there was no excuse for not squeezing me in like they always have with walkin customers in the past. The worst part though was when I told the service advisor I wasn't interested in him making an appointment for me on a later day and he then pointed to the exit overhead door of the service bay and in a very rude tone said "there's the door". I've always used Yark's service department in the past but going forward I will be taking my business elsewhere including any new/used vehicle purchases. You might want to consider doing the same. read more

Disabled Veteran. I started my sale at Yark on a Saturday with them. I told them that I had multiple concussions and could not keep up, they assured me they would take care of me. They tried to take advantage of me every step of the sale from the second I walked in the door. I was also promised that we could start the paper work and finish after we speak to the sales manager to deal with several issues with the vehicle (40k truck that was never even prepared for the lot) on Monday and finish the deal then. Showed up Monday simply to be told that we didn't need to finish the rest of the paper work, I had already signed the stuff I had to and the purchase was done. They had nothing more to talk about. Every "deal" at Yark is pre-constructed with over 1000$ in fees built into and on top of the sale. Every product in the finance office is absurdly over marked to gouge the customer. GAP is NOT 1200$ buy it from your insurance company. Add on warranties are NOT 4K+, google the prices BEFORE you go back there. Window etching is a proven scam and is also built in the deals. This place is not interested in return customers and is simply out to smash every customer that walks through the door. Buy a Nissan, just not from Yark. read more

My family drove to Toledo this past Memorial Day weekend when my Nissan started having response issues. Knowing I would need to get it looked at fast to ensure I could drive home at the end of the holiday weekend, I immediately reached out to any dealership in the area. Yark took my call, cleared their schedule and took my car in immediately. Although they quoted me $100 for a diagnostic, they quickly deduced that at my last oil change some debris was displaced when they changed my air filter. Once cleaned, car drove normally. And so without me asking, they only charged me $35.00. I have now told 5 people in Toledo, in addition to Yelp, how impressed I am with Yark Nissan and I will continue to sing their praises. read more

The only reason I gave this a 1 out of 5 is for behavior I received from one of the Sales employees (whom I won't name), and I've never had any issues doing business here before. I gave the employee some constructive criticism in the customer feedback survey and shortly after it was completed (literally 5 minutes), I received a confrontational, 2 page text message from the employee essentially blaming ME for not earning his bonus for that sale. Absolutely terrible customer service and conduct unbecoming of an employee from a such a large company like Nissan, in my opinion. Do your homework before you do business here is all I'm saying. We had an issue obtaining the title for our vehicle. Several managers along with the President were included in the original email, yet NONE of them have responded. Extremely poor business and unacceptable. Yark failed several times on paperwork for the title and yet did NOTHING to make things right, and even ignored phone calls and emails. We as customers should not of had to went to the extent that we did to obtain the title for our vehicle. I recently purchased a new Truck from Thayer Nissan. What a completely different experience this was. The sales manager and financing were truly amazing and I felt like I was more than just a number. To top it off, the service was quick and professional in comparison to Yark. The fact that many managers and president were made aware of the issues and refused to even reach out to a long term customer, one who have purchased over 6 vehicles, five of them being new from the Yark dealership. Traveling to Toledo for a family funeral our 2016 Murano was close to the required 15K service by paid contract. I was told on Saturday the 8th. of a 3 hour wait. Understanding it was Saturday and busy we had other pending arrangement appointments to attend the service advisor stressed we need not go beyond 1K over for the service, he also recommended we schedule and appointment for the following Saturday morning. We said that we could make it work what time do you open? Told 7:30 so we made the appointment. Upon being at the dealer a little before we were told two others were ahead of us? I asked why did we need an appointment and was only pursued to upgrade my service items to a higher level? Told them to preform only the required ones at this time. We were summoned in less than an hour and was advised our car was being washed and please sign paper work. After a 1/2 hour of waiting I tried to ask Service Advisor where was our car he was on the phone so while waiting I noticed our car had been setting along outside wall of service write up area. We left saying what a poor ordeal. Well needless to say all things got worse. Sunday upon packing our car and stuff to journey back after funeral service a large puddle of oil was found under car. I barely was able to check filter it was tight after checking drain plug found it less than finger tight when oil ran down my arm. Borrowed a crescent wrench and snugged up the plug. Oil every where under car from blowing back and a mess to clean up in driveway. We departed several hours late and being Sunday with business being closed, had to stop and check several times to assure no more leaks. Monday we stopped at Coyle Nissan in Clarksville, In. they were great to us and understanding our frustrations. They had car on lift checked all out, added a small amount of oil and had us back on the road in 1/2 hour. Made it home safe and not so stressed out that evening. Yesterday I had to clean the underside of our new car from oil. Our thoughts are to Yark it might be advisable to add to your process check off form to be signed by service techs to assure completion of all steps are done before letting a vehicle go out with such an important item being neglected. If the plug would have come out we could of lost an engine due to not oil in the vehicle while traveling on the interstate. We were extremely disappointed from our first time on the 8th till we went to Coyle for some help. Tried to call Yark before posting and all I got was voice mail. Go figure. read more

Our Salemans TJ has always been amazing and helped us every chance he could. However, sadly the experience never stopped with him. My family has purchased over six vehicles from this dealership over the last three years. My last purchase in May, the lein title arrived incorrectly without my name, the purchaser, on it. Instead it arrived in my spouses name. I asked for a corrected title and had to get a new temporary tag. They sent for a new title only to not hear for over two months and requiring a third temp tag. When the title arrived again, it also arrived wrong in only my spouses name again. I called again and left messages that were not returned. Ultimately having to stop in and get another, 4th, temp tag. This issue was ongoing until October when they finally stated they couldn't change the name on the title but had to make it in both names. It took 5 months for a simple question to be answered. They had to issue me a dealer plate because they could not do another temp tag. In all this, there was not a single apology or phone call from a manager, just several excuses from financing. I had come back to Yark, giving them several chances after having issues with the service department back in 2008, now that they were under new management and service management. I will not make that mistake ever again. This dealership is not focused on customer retention, only making that first sale. I will focus all my business on Thayer Nissan from now on. I am leasing my car here since year 2011 and I'm having great experience with this dealership besides the service last Tuesday. Came here to get my tire checked up cause there was a issue with air pressure on one of my tire. I asked the guy with the ponytail how long it will take cause I had to get back to work later and he told me it will take somewhere around 45mins. well... I was there before 2:25pm and It got done 3:57pm.... took double the time they told me how long it will take.... I understand if it was 10-20mins difference cause of cars ahead of my car for service but taking double the amount of time than they told me is not acceptable. No apologies received when I asked how long it will take more to get my one tire checked up after I waited over 80mins cause I had to be back to work soon (and of course I was late to work). read more

Usually, I am satisfied with the level of service I receive at Yark Nissan, but today, I am an UNsatisfied customer who is questioning whether not to return. On Friday 1-17-2020, I had an oil change & tire rotation done on my '17 Rogue, which I had scheduled an appointment 24 hours in advance through the online platform on my phone. Arrived 15 minutes before my appointment (1:30, arrived 1:15), and was done in and out in 1 hour (2:15). As I was checking out, I scheduled an appointment for oil change and tire rotation on my '15 NVP 3500 for Monday, 1-20-2020 (MLK Jr. Holiday) at 9 AM. I arrived at 8:45 am, was greeted by Jack, who was very professional throughout, and he said it would be 1-1.5 hours, which is what I counted on as I had a doctor's appointment scheduled at 11 AM, just 10 minutes from the dealership. So, 10:50 comes and goes, still no word on my van. I call the doctor to reschedule. At this point the van is finally put on the lift. At 11:45, Jack came to get me and show me the inspection work and an air filter that I had the option to replace for $35. I decline and he was good with that and took it back for the techs to put back in the van. At Noon, Jack comes back to get me and I pay the $60 for the work. He was detailed and even put new tire caps on when he walked me out. My grievance is not with him, it's with the overall operation. I saw several people who came in after I did and left while I was still waiting. The waiting room was full with 10-15 people and the NET Check-In is a JOKE. I checked myself in when arriving and it read 30 minutes the entire 3 hours I was there! Had I known I was going to spend 2-3 times as long as it should have taken, I would have taken my NVP to the Tuffy that is a 1/2 mile/5 minute walk from my house instead of driving 20 minutes across town. I am considering switching to the other Nissan dealer or go with a local shop...time is money and I can get the same work done for cheaper closer to home in a much faster time frame. Just questioning how can a job that takes less than 1 hour, take 3 hours when you have a pre-scheduled appointment and were quoted it would take 1-1.5 hours start to finish??? read more

I have had dealings with Yark Nissan since about 2004. At that time,I was driving a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder. On my 1st visit for service,I expected to be treated like many other Dealers treat a Customer they have no knowledge of,but instead,..."I was surprised to be treated the same as though my vehicle were new!" I am fanatical about my Nissan's,all of them beginning with my 1st which was a Datsun,1972 240-Z which I kept clean and polished at all times to a mirror like finish. Because I had been treated so well by them,I chose to buy a 2 year old 2011 Nissan Pathfinder in 2013,it was Black. You could look closely upon the paints surface and count the cracks in your teeth as you smiled. Along came 2015 and I was at the Dealer for Service on my Vehicle,and was "Captivated By A Black 2015 Nissan Xterra!" Black is my favorite color for a Vehicle because after I clean the paint,and polish it,I can them wax it for the kind of "SHINE THAT MAKES ME SMILE VERY BROADLY!" Well,..."My Xterra began to show wear with a small hole that began to show the foam on the Driver's side of the seat." At that time I drove to the Dealership and explained the situation,and pictures were taken to be sent to "Nissan U.S.A." Nissan U.S.A. in essence abandoned me to the Mercy of the Dealership! To my shock and surprise,I received a phone call this morning from Jason,my Representative, who told me that because of my past history of purchases from them that the Dealer was willing to replace the portion of the seat that had the hole in it! I was happy and relieved that they "stepped up to the plate",when they could have easily done otherwise! I will purchase my next "NEW VEHICLE FROM THEM",but the next time I will be looking for a "Toyota S.U.V. in Black!" "AND IT WILL COME FROM YARK!" I was weary of car dealerships, like most people. That was until I went to Yark Nissan. This was my first time leasing a vehicle, so I didn't really know what to expect. At a previous dealership, I was told that I wouldn't be able to lease because of a slight hiccup that was on my credit report from 2 years ago. The finance manager advised me that no matter where I went, I would never be able to lease, even though I had a more than decent credit score and history. However, I decided to take my chances at another dealership and ended up at Yark Nissan. It was the best decision I've made in a long time. I was passed around to many different faces, each one of them was as great as the last. I told them exactly what I wanted and they were able to give it to me without any issue. I was able to lease the car I wanted, with the terms and payment I wanted. There was never a point where I thought I was being mislead or deceived.
