It is insanely good and the amount of food is abundance. The girl the front was really nice and the place was really clean. There's a little shelf on the left side that sells a lot of random Greek items. The rice is really tender. The meat was soft and juicy. I have a problem with gamy lamb but this was perfect. I love souvlaki my dad wanted to take me to lunch for my bday and picked this place. Ordered lamb souvlaki my dad ordered shrimp. With one meal, I asked to add tahini which they did and charged me for the request. However, it was an add, not a substitution (see receipt attached) and they removed the tzatziki that comes with the meal. They should have told me. This spot is a nice addition to the offerings in the area. I stopped in to get some gyros and was pleasantly surprised to get some delicious little bites. They were small compared to the gyros I've gotten in most places. But they were nicely packaged and contained fresh ingredients, including some really good Tzatziki sauce. The size made it easy to eat as a sandwich which was nice. Nonetheless I liked it so much I went back for seconds. They have some really good looking treats in the store although I didn't try them, the baklava looked really good. I was in the mood for Greek and decided to try this spot. I ordered the meal online for a 12:45 pickup. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted by a really nice lady. I told her my name and she handed me my food. My clients loved the food so much. I ordered the falafel platter with orzo. I am a weekly customer at Yasou Santorini and have been coming here over a year now. I have to say, the food never disappoints. The flavor is amazing!!! Every dish is delicious!!! I lover their platters, or simpler a Greek salad with chicken Slovaki. The taziki sauce is very good and adds a burst of flavor to any dish. The food is very good and plentiful. The main dish (if your not a huge eater) is usually enough for two people. I love the moussaka and the pita bread, which is fresh and warm. Even my husband likes it and he is quite picky about restaurant food. The establishment is light, brute and clean. Usually the owner is there and greats you with a welcoming smile. This time, we ordered Patzaria (beets w/garlic), and Tirokafteri, which is this delightful spicy feta spread. These appies, like all of their others, are thoughtfully executed and faithful to their local cuisine. You like salads? Try every salad at Yasou. We had the Yasou Salad this time: Tiny arugula, sliced figs, goat cheese, honey vinaigrette -- are you kidding me??? We had some low-carb wraps and stacked that salad with everything else we had ordered...tremendous. For our entrees, we each got a Lamb Gyro, and Pork and Beef Souvlaki sticks. The Gyros are serious business: perfectly built, tender and juicy lamb -- wrapped perfectly. The souvlaki sticks are seasoned well, charbroiled, and send with lemon wedges. Squeeze on the lemon -- the flavor profile is clean and lovely. A note on packaging. Yasou has the best packaged delivery we have ever seen. The foil-lined boxes for the souvlaki, the foil bags for the gyros...each appie in its own little covered dish. Seriously, they know how to present their food. Order directly from these incredibly nice people. Don't go looking to go thru an app -- restaurants just keep paying these apps -- hard pass for us. Also, I thought it supposed to come with red onions or something, but it's just meat, tzaziki and the side you pick. The service is exceptional. The food quality, however, is not as authentic as I'd prefer. The spinach pie contains rice, which is new for them. It didn't used to contain rice and does not add to flavor. The cheese pita is lacking flavor. It would be wonderful to see them modify their current recipes for these two dishes. I received a flyer in the mail and decided to give them a try. The first time I ordered I did curbside pickup. I ended up driving past and having to go back around. I was just about to call them to tell them I was there but they were quick and brought my order out before I even dialed the number. I decided to order again this time for delivery. The delivery was right when they said it would be. I like that they have big portions and they're reasonably priced in comparison to other restaurants. The only downside is that their gyros are beef and lamb. My family doesn't like lamb so we get the chicken instead. I like their Greek salad and tzaziki. This is our favorite Greek restaurant in New Jersey. We always get chicken souvlaki Platter with Greek salad. The portions are huge, the seasoning is on point, and the chicken is always grilled to perfection, never dry or overcooked. My daughter loves the Greek Salad and she is not even a salad person. I picked up an order for this first time here tonight. The pita is delicious, especially with the hummus, which is so smooth and filling. I liked the baklava, which was sweet and crisp, but you have to make sure the condensation in the container doesn't make it soggy. We also got the vegetable moussaka, but the restaurant gave us the traditional meat moussaka instead. Above and beyond 5 star takeout esablishment. Although, I was only in the store for 5 minutes to pickup my takeout order, the owner treated me as if I were family. He shook my hand, gave me food to try and even taught me a couple greek words. The owner knows how to treat its customers. Now the food is exceptional, its fresh, affordable and generous with the portions. The beef/lamb was seasoned perfectly and i highly recommend trying it. The food is tasty but they may have recently changed owners because portions are very small and prices are sky high. I paid $10 for a tiny side salad with 3 chicken tenders. The salad had a small amount of lettuce, a couple tomato and green peppers with feta cheese. Although the salad was tasty - the size was typically what would accompany a meal...not a $10 lunch. It's a good thing it's takeout because the AC & ventilation need to be improved! The chopped salad in the salad bar was brown from being out in that heat and possibly too long! The hummus and tzatziki were delicious. What Greek tomato salad has capers in it? Too many for someone who does not like capers. So I picked them out. Very reliable food and reasonably price Greek food in the area. This restaurant is in my weekly rotation.

Let me preface this by saying that I used to frequent this place multiple times a week and that I had often enthusiastically recommended or physically brought many friends and family over. The food is not what it used to be, but it's still good. My main problem is the wait times and how the staff conveys how much time an order will take to be ready. A customer calling ahead for pickup being told that the order will be ready in "20-30 minutes" shouldn't receive their food in an hour. A customer waiting physically outside being told "it's almost ready" or "it's being packed" shouldn't have to wait an extra 30 minutes. This has happened multiple times before, but until now I've given them more chances for older times' sake. I'd be okay if they told me the prep time is an hour beforehand OR if this was a one time thing, but repeatedly low-balling preptimes and making people wait is plain disrespectful and borderline manipulative. read more

I got takeout from this place tonight for the first time and it was fantastic! I ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken added to it. I'm very picky about chicken bc a lot of times at other places it's low quality or rubbery and gross, but the grilled chicken on my salad here was not only excellent quality and cooked well, but it was deliciously flavored too!
