I had water damage to one of my room upstairs due to a radiator leak. I wasn't sure if we needed to do just the 1 room or the whole upstairs since the wood is all connected. When I had spoken to him on the phone he said there may be a slightly different color if we do just the one room. So before he came out, I asked if he can get us both quotes. He came out when I wasn't home but my wife was. He didn't measure anything. Look at the room where the damage was and left. He didn't look at the rest of the upstairs. I didn't get a message for him so I texted him. He gave me a quote for the one room. I asked, do you have a quote for how much it would be for the whole upstairs. He said he didn't look at the other room upstairs. I described the size of the other room upstairs and he texted back with a quote. I asked if you can send me in writing the 2 quotes. He said he has to charge me $150 for the quotes. Then I said, "What? Why?" He never responded. Just in case he didn't see it, I text him again the next day. He didn't respond again. Ralphie came to my home and got to work right away for two days in a row. The good, Ralphie put molding around my basement walls. He also went above and beyond to place drafting round my basement door as well as my laundry door. However, now my laundry door will NOT close. Ralphie also told me he couldn't get behind my dryer because of some elbow pipe but my contractor came to my home and pulled the dryer right out the wall with no problem. I didn't like how he left an uncovered space as well as an uneven floor in my basement. One day I went outside and saw trash in my backyard. I asked Ralphie if they take out the trash and he told me no, they do NOT take out the trash which I thought was weired. I keep my patio cushions in trash bags and someone from his team, took my cushions out of the trash bags and used them to throw away the trash his team created which I thought was unprofessional.
