I am never disappointed when going to this place! it has fast service, great and friendly servers and a quick seating! All the plates I've had were good BUT be prepared to eat, a lot. I always have to take a to-go box back to my apartment since I can never finish the amount of food offered. Sometimes their food is a little greasy, but what do you expect from a diner! It's better than IHOP! My server told me they like to feed people and they do! A huge plus is that they're one of the only local food places open on Sundays, so we always try to go here if we are looking for a brunch option. This place is fire! I had for the first time ever, breakfast enchiladas. It's a simple concept but nowhere else I've been does this. They were fire! So so good. Simply ground beef red sauce cheese and 2 eggs on top. My eggs were over medium, which happened to be cooked perfectly. The beans needed some extra flavor because they're fresh cooked so I added a little salt & pepper then topped them with a side of shredded cheddar cheese. OMG! The rice on the side was cooked with spices and were also fire. Seriously this is a spot to stop whenever your in Amarillo Texas. Our server Donetta was exceptional as well. This was... very awkward. Nobody really knew what their designated job/position was. Just walking around. Our server, Rebecca, was really sweet and attentive though. She drew my son a turtle. The ambiance of Ye Olde Pancake Station took us back to the good ole days of the Texas diner. The homemade biscuits and sausage gravy tasted just like "Momma used to make". The biscuits melted in my mouth. My hubby had the gigantic Belgian waffle and said it was oh so tasty. Our daughter had one of the world's best pancakes and sausage links that did not disappoint. Our waitress was perfect; friendly with a great smile. Our coffee cups were kept full and our daughters Coke glass was also kept full the whole time we were there. Well , up front , the pancakes were just ok. I like them on the thin side and kinda crispy on the outside. These were fluffy and a little mushy. They did give us real maple syrup, you know , from a tree , which was great. That being said , the eggs Benedict was OUTRAGEOUS! The best I've ever had by far! Visiting from out of town, read reviews decided to give this place a try. Our waitress was great, excellent service. Food wasn't as expected. Had blueberry pancakes and they tasted like box mix with blueberries. The Bf had the French toast and his tasted like eggs with bread no cinnamon. The environment was good until one of their waitresses was storming around being passive aggressive at other staff.
