Yeager Flooring did a phenomenal job on my kitchen floor. They were very reliable every step of the way. First, Jim came out when he said he would to look at my kitchen, and give me a quote. The quote was reasonable, so I accepted. Then his crew showed up the day he said they would, and work commenced. The first thing they did was lay down protective covering over my wood floors from my door to my kitchen, so the floors stayed protected the entire time. To say they found some issues with my existing kitchen floor is an understatement. It was a wreck; water damage, rotting wood, tile laid on top of vinyl flooring laid on top of terrazzo - yikes! Jim and his crew sent pictures of what they were discovering every step of the way, and were quick to reassure me it could all be repaired. In addition to pulling up the damaged flooring, they also replaced some drywall that had mold on it from the previous water damage. Once the tiling started, it went super quick. I love how meticulous the tile layer was; making sure tiles were equally spaced, making sure the new floor was level with existing floors, and finally, having the new thresholds match my existing pine floors. All in all they did a fantastic job, and I will definitely be using their services again on both my bathrooms. read more

Mr Yeager came out to my house to show me some LVP flooring to install thorough out my house and to install new tile on my fireplace and hearthstone 3 years ago. Cost 16k.This was a rental house that I wanted to remodel and sell. I signed the contract everything was included in the price. The crew was excellent.. Respectfull, worked hard and consistent. They also cleaned up. Was very pleased with the outcome of the installation of the floor.. A young man came out to install new tile on the fireplace. The workers that installed the LVP installed over were the hearthstone was to be. I notified Yeager he said it could be fixed. The young man complete the install of new tile on the fireplace it looks beautiful, he did a very good job. But did not install a hearthstone. That was the last I heard from Mr Yeager. This is all new to me I didn't have a clue who to choose to remodel a home. I went by word of mouth. While they were installing the floor I was getting billed for removal of the toilets so they could install the LVP. It confused me. I looked through the contact and saw it was included. This was corrected. I was called to pay for the tile for the fireplace that also was included in the contract. This was corrected. I had them come and look at the hall bathroom to remodel the quote was over my budget. That's the last I heard from them. I'm not sure when it started but I noticed in the TV room the floor was popping. I would shove it down and it would stay temporarily then pop up again. Also in the bedroom it was popping other rooms looked fine. As time went on it look like a wave in the TV room. I contacted Yeager but had a hard time getting our schedule together to have someone look at the floor. It's been over a year since I contacted them I believe. I still, at that time, had not had the floors inspected by them. In the intermittent I had to have the fireplace inspected before I sold the house. The inspector couldn't pass it because the hearthstone was never installed. I contacted Yeager explained my dilemma. Weeks later they sent out a young man I explained flooring was installed over the hearthstone I need to have a hearthstone installed to pass inspection. Per the inspector the company should know a hearthstone is required in Florida. I also showed the young man from Yeager the popping floors. For the next 3/4 months I was on a goose chase with this company. It took a lot of chasing to get them to install the hearthstone about 3/4 months. They sent a young man out to install hearthstone he did a beautiful job. However prior to the worker coming out Yeager quoted I believe 900$ to install the hearthstone. I paid I believe 1600$ to replace the tile, and hearthstone so I paid for it already. I wasn't going to pay for this mistake. I had to buy the tile with my own money 150$ to complete the hearthstone which all tile was to be included in the price in the original contract. I brought it just to get the job done. I am still having issues with the floor. The young man who installed the hearthstone fixed 1 panel only and said the floor is waving due to moisture, also nailed a piece of baseboard that was separated from the wall. And off he went. The baseboard molding is a whole new story. The painters had to glue all the baseboard molding in the kitchen and TV room it all separate. The inside of the house was painted about a year after install of the LVP floors. The baseboard molding didn't hold up. I contacted by text the young man I was working with about the fireplace and asked if the flooring was covered it needs to be fixed. This was 2 months ago. I've been ghosted. No response back. So, I'm pretty frustrated at this point. I can hire a company to fix it but I'll lose the warranty. I hope your experience with their service will be better than mine. Flooring was delivered and installed exactly when promised and the results were great. This week we had flooring put in our new home. Jim and his team are awesome. I asked them to come out for a few quotes on a new home I had purchased. I got quotes for continuing the tile in rooms that had laminate, as well as leveling a shower that had not been sloped properly by prior homeowner. Not only did they give quotes for the job, but also made lower-cost recommendations for things I could do to save money since the home was quickly becoming a money pit. We recently ordered new carpet flooring from Yeager after our home flooded. Mike was extremely friendly to work with in the store and even came out to our home with samples to help us match the new carpet to some of our older flooring. There was a slight hiccup with the manufacturer shipping our carpet late (something Yeager could not control) and instead of pushing back our install date Jim Yeager went way above and beyond, sending one of his guys way out of town to pickup our carpet and bring it back so it could be installed as scheduled. The installers were on-time, very friendly/professional and paid great attention to detail. It was a drastically different experience compared to what we saw when replacing carpet with a different company 3 years ago. They've earned themselves a customer for life! No work was done. I set up an appointment for someone from Yeager to come out at 530pm. I have a tenant in my condo so they were meeting him at my condo at that time. Susan Yeager called me at 545pm to tell me that my tenant wasn't there and was he coming. I told her that he was but he must have ran into traffic because he was coming home from work. She asked me to provide me his cell phone number. I told her that I won't be able to do that because when I've done this in the past with other contractors they remove me from the loop and I am the owner. So I can't do that. Susan then said to me, should I just let my husband stand there with his thumb up his butt and wait for your tenant? I said woah, what? Then Susan Yeager hung up on me. read more

After finding unexplained moisture in a small section of my wood floors, I reached out to Yeager Flooring to assess the damage and provide an estimate for repair. They showed up on time, did an initial inspection, and helped put me in touch with the right professionals to investigate the cause. When no one could definitively determine the cause of the damage, Jim Yeager (the owner) drove an hour to my house on a Saturday to personally assist with the investigation. He carefully documented the damage, and provided detailed instructions on how to present the evidence to my insurance company to ensure a fair outcome. Not surprisingly, insurance initially rejected my claim. When it looked like I would receive no compensation for the damage (and when most companies would probably lose interest in a small repair job) Jim persisted. He came back to my house multiple times, spoke by phone with the insurance company on my behalf, and made himself available by phone, text, and email to answer questions day and night. When it was all said and done, the insurance company reversed their decision and offered to pay for new flooring for the entire house! Jim's persistence literally resulted in tens of thousands of dollars of work being covered by insurance! When it came time for the work, the Yeager Flooring team showed up on time each day, and worked late into the evening to stay on schedule when unexpected complications came up. The crew was professional, courteous, and responsive, and the floors look amazing! From start to finish this company was top notch. This job was for my son's home. Had to have all flooring removed and replaced due to a flood. Vinny showed up on time for the estimate. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in every way possible. We immediately made an appointment for them to take on the job. Pricing was not the lowest, but average. We were emailed the contract and exactly what to expect. Called the day before with time they were due out. The start and finish dates were exactly as stated. They ran into a small problem regarding what was under flooring they removed. It cost an additional charge to have paint and tile etc. removed with a machine. We were told ahead of time there may be extra charges. Informed before they started the extra work of the cost and time factor etc. After each step everything was vacuumed and left neatly.My son had many questions prior to starting the job, Vinny was very kind and patient with all of us! All office staff a delight to talk to . Always very helpful . In the 27 years of owning several homes and having repairs and flooring done, we have never had such a smooth easy process!
