Dr Doppelt is absolutely the best Dermatologist in Knoxville! I have been with Dr Doppelt for 20…read moreyears now. He takes care of our entire family. So thankful we have him as our Dermatologist and as my weapon against aging. My Father had been to multiple Dr.'s that could figure out what his rash was. Dr. Doppelt did. He also caught his rare cancer this year. Then for my husband who had been treated for multiple causes - Dr Doppelt was able to identify the real issue which was a rare disease . He got him the treatment he needed finally after years of misdiagnosis. For me personally I am 51 and do not look a day of my age thanks to Dr Doppelt. He keeps me restored to my natural youth without making me look like I have had anything done. I am so grateful for him. Please see his reviews on Google Maps - Yelp's 11 reviews are not comparable to his 1,000 + reviews with a 4.9

They just don't have a ton of time to chitchat. I see Deborah (nurse practitioner) for the medical side and Melissa or Julianna for the cosmetic side (facials etc.) I tried the Bright and Clear treatment and that was the best. My skin looked amazing afterwards. I need to save up to have it more. It's a clean office, bright and welcoming. It has lots of parking too.

Ideal Image in Knoxville is amazing. I had an appointment set for 11 AM but totally forgot about…read morethe time zone difference, so I was going to be an hour late. I called thinking I'd have to reschedule, but they were so kind and found a way to squeeze me in later that day at 4 PM, even though they closed at 6. I was honestly so grateful. Two sweet nurses, Mallory and Emily T, worked on me at the same time so I wouldn't miss out on my full session. They made me feel so comfortable the entire time by talking to me to keep me distracted, and pressing down with every zap to ease the sting. It really made such a difference. Denise and Miranda at the front desk were also super friendly and accommodating, just really great energy all around. Even though the drive from where I live is almost three hours, it's totally worth it, they're my new location.

I joined the lifetime membership to receive discounted touch ups. So here I am about 4 years later needing touch ups for the hair coming back in an area highly effected by hormones (understandable). BUT they changed their hours, only book 2 weeks ahead of time and have like 6 time slots available all during work hours...I'll probably have to seek out another business to get the treatment I need.

I love Dr. Brantley and her nurse practitioners, but EVERY time I go there is a 30+ minute (and…read moresometimes close to an hour) wait to be called back and I feel like they're very disrespectful of their patients' time. Today I was scheduled for a bladder procedure at 9 am and got checked in right at 9. I waited in the lobby for half an hour before checking with the receptionists to see where I was in line for being brought back since two people who had gotten there after me had been called. She told me the staff member doing my procedure wasn't there yet and then after another 20 minutes of waiting I checked again and the receptionist got pissy saying that the nurse was stuck in traffic, but I'd like to know where she was coming from because there's no way she spent more than an hour in traffic and the practice opens at 8:30 so why was she still not there by 9:50? I ended up leaving before I was seen and cancelling my further appointments because I had other obligations to fill that were being impacted by waiting 45+ minutes for my practitioner to actually arrive.

This is not the place to come if you're a Black woman…read more I have an urgent medical need requiring immediate surgery to reduce ongoing pain. Despite this, I waited three days for a callback regarding scheduling, contacting them through the AI assistant, the patient portal, and finally in person. When I went into the office, I stood at the front desk while staff finished a personal conversation with a colleague before acknowledging me. When I said I needed to speak with someone, I was told flatly, "you can sign in," then met with a blank stare and "let me deal with these other patients." I was eventually told the provider was out and would call me back that day. No call came. I had to follow up again, sending an email and leaving another message through the AI assistant, before I finally received a callback. When I did, I was met with a dismissive, rude tone and told to "wait, they have other patients." When I pushed back and explained how long I had already waited, the staff member became frustrated and told me that if I couldn't wait, they "can't meet my expectations" and I should find another provider. Racial disparities in pain management for Black women are well documented, with research consistently showing Black patients' pain is taken less seriously and treated with less urgency than White patients'. My experience here, being made to wait, repeatedly dismissed, and met with no urgency despite ongoing pain, reflected that same pattern. This behavior is typical of medical offices that lack diversity and cultural competency. Being told to find another provider rather than being helped made one thing clear: my health and wellbeing as a Black woman were not a priority here. If you're considering this practice, especially for anything urgent, know that your care may come second to their convenience.
