We are on the hunt for the best pizza in Oregon and that lead us to Yeasy Beasty. First impression... friendly, welcoming and clear directions of the menu and ordering. The place is a bit small and seems like a local hang kinda vibe, but they fit a lot of tables in that space without feeling crowded. It was clean and the wait staff was consistently on top of cleaning tables as patrons left. We ordered 3 different items on the menu. We also got 2 lemonades and a water. There is a jug of water that you can help yourself to as much as you want. Along with straws, silverware and red pepper flakes. My daughter likes Parmesan and that was not offered, but not a deal breaker by any means. We got the bacon beasty bites with their house made ranch. It was splendid, lots of garlic which we all love and the ranch was thick, creamy and dilly. Next was the loaded baked potato... it was good, but it's missing the mark a little, we've had "pizza skins" at another location that were just better, but these were good. The all meat pizza was very tasty. The Canadian bacon and pepperoni was really good but I wish the sausage was better. It had good cheese and a good cheese pull. I like the thin crust, it was perfectly seasoned and tasted fresh. More sauce and different sausage and it would be next level. We ordered a variety of different kinds and I couldn't wait to get home to try my onion and mushroom pizza. The bill was pretty hefty but if the food was good, I'd gladly pay for it. Honestly, I wasn't impressed. I found it to be a little dry. Not enough sauce and I counted 3 mushroom pieces per slice. I couldn't even find the onions. The pizza here is really good the service is a bit odd. I have been patronizing Yeasty Beasty since they opened and I would say that a majority of my experiences have been positive. The pizza is delicious and the atmosphere is pleasant enough, slightly quirky and a lot of different flavor options. A word of caution for the gluten free crust is hit or miss as it is often burned...probably just a tricky crust to bake. However the service is just a bit bizarre, I have never had a rude server and if I have ever had a problem with the food they have quickly remedied the order. Yet I think the company as a whole would benefit from teaching service staff how to interact with customers. For about the past seven or eight times I have been here the staff seems stressed and rushed. I once had a server ask me three times in five minutes if I was ready to order after I had explained I was waiting for a friend. Only one other table was occupied and they replied "I guess it's okay if you're waiting." So I explained (gently again) that I would not be ordering food until my friend was there as it would be rude to not wait five minutes. It is a seat yourself establishment and when they bring over the menu they immediately ask you what you would like to drink without waiting the customary time to let a patron look over the menu. They also used to offer Parmesan cheese with your pizza but not you have to flag them down to get some. This has happens multiple times. Also the service staff has a high turn over rate I do not see longevity in the staff. Overall a great place to eat with delicious pizza and seriously THE BEST ranch dressing I have ever had. So I like this place enough to come back but the service will have to step it's game up to become a 5 star pizza place. read more

The location is in a nice part of town right next to a park so if you want to get you pizza and relax outside. We were camping and ended up not having enough food so we drove into town to grab something. This restaurant came up on yelp and we decided to try it out. So glad we did! The gluten free pizza ended up with cheese on it and the owner/manager(?) promptly apologized and put in a new one for us. Great customer service with a good sense of humor!
