It was a Saturday, so my regular vet was not open & I wasn't familiar with any other emergency vets in the area. This place showed up in a internet search, so I called the Carmel location which was closed and rerouted to Fishers. The lady on the phone was nice & advised it would be $100ish dollar to be seen for the initial consult. I said that was fine & they told me to bring her in. They checked her out, advised they would need to induce vomiting, and gave a breakdown of the price. I knew it would be expensive being an urgent care place but it was still a little more than I anticipated. Total price was around $830. That was for consult, the medicine to induce, the medicine to stop it, and some other items. The fine print also says you will get charged a 3% fee if paying by credit card so I paid with a debit. For reference, my normal vet which is a low cost clinic was about $140 to induce vomiting, as my other dog had to have the same thing done when he was a puppy 4-5 years earlier & ate something he shouldn't from the trashcan. Anyhow, being it was time sensitive I went ahead with it. They were able to remove the object & they called the next day to check on her. Nice staff & was able to help, but I would recommend only coming here for true emergencies that are outside normal operating hours of other vets.

I was met with compassion and I could feel the love from the staff, even though they did not know my baby. It helped immensely during the worst day of my life. I sent my boyfriend in to pick up his ashes a week later and the nurse hugged him while he cried, and shed her own tears with him. It was so beyond sweet. Flash forward to today, I had to rush my new dog in for incessant coughing fits. I was worried he couldn't breathe. Admittedly, I have a tendency to over react to things after losing my last dog. I once again was show compassion and my dog and I both felt taken care of, seen, and listened to. Thank you for everything you all do. I know working in emergency veterinary care has to be one of the most difficult jobs in the world. My boys and I are eternally grateful for all of you.

Review of VCA Advanced Veterinary Center - 7712 Crosspoint Commons, Fishers, IN 46038…read more I had a very disappointing experience at VCA Advanced Veterinary Center in Fishers. While I understand that veterinary environments can be busy and stressful, professionalism and compassion should never be optional -- especially in an emergency care setting. One of the staff members, Danielle, spoke to me in a way that felt dismissive and condescending. When you're already worried about your pet, the last thing you need is to feel talked down to. Communication matters, and tone matters even more when clients are under stress. What was even more frustrating was the sense that administrative or social corrections seemed to take priority over actually helping patients get seen. Instead of focusing on the urgency of care, there appeared to be more concern about correcting people in conversation. In an advanced veterinary center, the primary focus should always be on patient care and compassion. Additionally, the overall atmosphere felt uncomfortable. Some staff members appeared disrespectful not only toward clients but also toward their own coworkers. It did not feel like a supportive or team-oriented environment. When employees seem disengaged or dismissive, it reflects poorly on the entire organization. I truly hope management takes feedback seriously and works on improving communication, professionalism, and overall workplace culture. Pet owners bring their animals here during vulnerable moments -- they deserve empathy, urgency, and respect.

We just moved here from Arizona and we were looking for a good vet, since the last one we had for over 15yrs. We walked in, they didn't walk us to our room, which fine whatever. But then we went to the room and I noticed it smelled, it was dirty and I told my husband, well there are a lot of pets that come through here and he reminded me, that yes but our other vet was more popular. Then the vet tech came in, was kinda nice, never took my dogs temp, barely looked at him, but did more work then the actual Vet! The Vet came in, never even touched my dog, said he had cancer on his eye, which we found out later what a ingrown hair in his tear duct, and she kept saying he needed to be put under to have his teeth cleaned.. Our pup is 9, but still has white white teeth, which our prior vet kept saying how it's rare to find a dog with this pretty of teeth at his age. DO NOT GO TO THIS VET!! I love my pup just like I love my kids! This vet wants money, and if they put your dog under for a "normal procedure" and doesn't make it.. Let's just say, they don't care, because they got theirs.
