I have been coming to this groomer for years and he has yet to disappoint me. I love that he allows you to tell him a time you can come back to get your pet from him. Also when he calls to say my dog is done I am typically there within 15 minutes or less but if something comes up he is very understanding. If he notice something about your dog he will let you know. I know my dog got skin tag that developed on its own and he pointed it out to me to let me know about it. As long as I have my dog I will continue to go to Diggy. My dog is excited to go here and I can tell she enjoys being there. read more

They literally sanded down my dogs nose. She is 12 and has hyperkeratosis, which is simply a dry nose and extremely common. You don't sand or cut this off! Her nose is blood red raw and she is in extreme pain. This is 101 grooming knowledge and just common sense. These people have zero knowledge in what they are doing. You would be better off attempting to groom your dog yourself. If you love your dog, do not come here. She will be heading to the vet asap to make sure there isn't any infection and for treatment. read more

First time ever having my dog professionally groomed! I have a lab blue heeler who gets a super thick and fluffy winter coat. It's a nightmare to shave ourselves, so I finally caved and decided to take him to a groomer. I was pretty worried because my dog is not a fan of being groomed, especially the nail clipping. When I dropped him off he was definitely nervous, he was trying to climb out of the play pen area lol! But I felt happy knowing he wasn't going to be locked in a cage all day and he had the opportunity to play with other dogs. When I arrived to pick him up he looked amazing! You could tell even he felt like a million bucks! I think he had a good time. I'm really happy with the service and overall care of my dog. Wow - I wish I found Hot Diggity Dog sooner! All of the reviews are true, this place is a gem! I haven't been this satisfied with a groom since moving to Indianapolis. Nothing beats picking up a happy pup! Especially one who typically isn't very fond of the groomer. I scheduled my appointment via phone with Hot Diggity Dog about three weeks ago. They were quick to fit me I to their schedule and explain their process. During drop off, they take the collar and leash off of your pet and take them straight to the tub to be bathed. All of the staff were wearing masks and the protocols in place made me feel very comfortable. Now for the fun stuff - my dog looks SO PRECIOUS! When they called to give me a heads up that my dog would be ready in about 30 minutes, they asked if I wanted regular bows or Christmas bows. I have a choice?!? Didn't think I could be more excited. One of my dogs is social, and the other is shy, but the staff made them both feel comfortable, and they both were fine when I dropped them off. What a great place! There is disabled parking and customer parking in front. There is easy access for special needs. Very clean place and climate controlled. Upon arrival, our dogs were excited and tugging on their leashes to go inside. Never experienced this with other groomers! The staff was professional and courtesy. They also know our dogs names. We have one dog that always wants to be held. The staff had no problem picking up our dog and holding him. Our dogs were not caged up, they were free to roam and play while waiting to be groomed. They also walk our dogs periodically throughout the day. Our dogs were well groomed and had a nice scent! The males get ties. The females get bows. SO CUTE! Upon pick up, I observed a staff member sitting on the floor with our dogs and other dogs sitting on and around her receiving attention. Best part was our dogs were welcomed with open arms and loved! I heard about this business from the Yelp Instagram page and I am glad I did. I was having a hard time finding a grooming appointment for my pup with his regular groomer due to spring break so I decided to call Hot Diggity. I was able to get an appointment 7-10 days out. They are located in a strip mall in Carmel - ample parking and easy access. As my dog and I walked in the door, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who called my dog out by his name, which really helped him get excited to go in. One great thing that I'd read on the reviews and observed too is that they leave the dogs free to move around after their grooming is done. I think seeing that really helped calm my pup down. Another thing I liked about them is the written check-in form they have for dog owners to specify services. The form clearly states costs for add-ons. The full grooming took about 3 hours and they called me to give a 30-minute heads up which I appreciated. My pup had a bandana (free of cost) which added to his cuteness. I was able to book my next appointment during the check-out and my dog was not as anxious as he generally is with other groomers. I'd definitely go back! read more

The before and after looks amazing, but I can't express how it FEELS with a picture. The deshedding was SO worth it. He feels so much less fluffy. It made him look younger and skinnier. We started taking our dog here about a year ago. We were randomly assigned with the dog groomer Skylar, and she is great! Now, I request her every time. She remembers our dog and warmly greets him each time when he arrives. She also does a great job of asking questions regarding grooming requests and expectations. Every time I pick him up, she's groomed him exactly as we've asked. She is also kind and gentle with our dog which is a plus! I cannot recommend this business and this groomer enough! We went to this groomer for over a year although I thought their prices were too high and I always tipped 20% on their services. I like to build relationships with the people who care for my dog which is why I was surprised to find out we had a female grooming my dog instead of the male that always checked me in and out at drop off and pick up. I went to drop my dog (poodle) off today and was told the groomer didn't have any availability until December. REALLY bad business ethic. We have always been booked out with this groomer for months and today we're told that they just don't have groomers? I WOULD NOT recommend them to anyone. I took my dog for a nail trim and he's more on a skiddish side when it comes to new people. The man (not sure if he owns the place) comes and pets my dog briefly and then proceeds to man handle him, clips one nail and then without saying hardly anything to me, essentially kicks us out. He was rude and didn't offer any advice on how to make it go smoother. Not sure if this is the "technique" they do with all dogs, but I wouldn't recommend this if your dog is a bigger breed. Great experience! I brought my rescue pup in for his first groom-he was terrified, and they were SO patient and understanding. They worked with him to give him the most comfortable experience, and kept me up to date on what was going on and when to expect him for pick-up. It took longer than I expected, but only because of the decisions they made to help him feel more comfortable. He left with a great cut, soft, fluffy hair, and an adorable bow tie! Very friendly service. Great grooming. Only complaint is the length of time it takes. Having an assigned time is kind of pointless, because they don't follow a strict grooming order.
