This was such a cute little matcha and bingsoo cafe! The parking situation was a little interesting because it's technically ticketed parking, which surprised me considering how small the plaza is, but thankfully the cafe validates. The cafe itself is tucked into the corner of the plaza, so it can be a little easy to miss. Inside, everything was super clean and had a really nice, relaxed atmosphere. There were a few people working on their laptops while I was there, and I could definitely see this being a nice spot to sit and get some work done. They also have a photo booth inside, which was an interesting and fun little touch. I got the strawberry matcha and the strawberry bingsoo. As someone who isn't normally the biggest fan of bingsoo because my teeth are pretty sensitive to cold things, I actually thought they did this one really well. It had the perfect amount of sweetness, and I especially liked that the strawberry chunks weren't too big. They were much easier to eat without completely freezing my teeth off, which I appreciated. I did sit at a table near the window, and the sun made my table surprisingly warm, so I definitely had some motivation to eat the bingsoo quickly before it melted! The strawberry matcha was good as well. I liked the fresh strawberry puree, but I don't think it mixed into the matcha particularly well. Toward the end, I found myself moving my straw around mid-sip trying to get some strawberry and matcha at the same time because I realized that if I kept drinking from the same spot, I was going to finish all of the puree and be left with plain matcha. The matcha itself was only lightly sweetened and definitely more matcha-forward, which I personally didn't mind. If you're newer to matcha or prefer sweeter matcha drinks, though, this might be a bigger step into the actual matcha flavor compared to drinks at some other cafes. Overall, I had a good experience! The cafe was cute and clean, the bingsoo pleasantly surprised me, and I liked the matcha even with the mixing issue. I'd definitely come back if I were in the area, especially for the strawberry bingsoo!

An awesome Yelp Elite Experience at Floe Cafe and the perfect treat for the summer heat! I tried the Strawberry Bingsoo and Strawberry Matcha which made for a great pairing. The small bingsoo is fairly small but I thought it was a good size for one person. The shaved ice was light and refreshing and the strawberry topping added a nice sweetness without being too overwhelming. The Strawberry Matcha was also good. It had a subtle strawberry flavor that paired nicely with the matcha rather than overpowering it. I liked that it wasn't overly sweet, making it an easy drink to enjoy alongside the bingsoo. Overall, a cute spot to stop by when you're craving something cold and refreshing especially on a hot day. Parking during evening and weekends seem to be complimentary as parking poles remain up.

This place was so cute. I really liked the outdoor seating but I did not like the parking. We were able to park on the street because we didn't want to park in the private lot. It is located in around a lot of medical offices. I got the Biscoff Bingsoo which was very good. It was a nice and fluffy and it wasn't too sweet. I also got their Ube drink, which I'd come back for. It is super creamy and full of Ube flavors. Thank you, Yelp for this super cute and delicious experience!

This was such a fun and refreshing experience, perfect for these hot summer days. Floe sits in a cute little plaza, and the interior is even cuter once you step inside. I ordered the coffee biscoff bingsoo and the double matcha cloud, and both were chef's kiss. The coffee biscoff bingsoo was a standout. Every spoonful had that satisfying biscoff crunch, and the subtle coffee flavor paired well with it. The double matcha cloud tasted high‑quality and earthy without being bitter, and both hit that ideal level of sweetness. So happy I got to try Floe, and I already can't wait to come back and explore more of their bingsoos.

Thank you Yelp for another experience!! This place has very cute aesthetic, inside it's cute and clean, but the outside patio is the best part. Mostly covered, outdoor speaker playing some pretty good music, and lots of seating available. So why only 3 stars? Well, I guess maybe bingsoo just isn't for me unfortunately. This was my first time trying it, and I found it a little flavorless and bland, and while this experience was comped, I also found them extremely overpriced. I ordered one of the refreshers as my drink, and that was ok, nothing special. It was very busy when I arrived, and it showed in the speed of the service. Very slow pushing out orders. Parking at this location is also kind of a hassle, as there is no free parking anywhere in the area. Today the gate to their parking area was open so we didn't have to pay anything, but not sure that's always the case.

This was a Yelp Elite Experience that made me discover Floe Cafe and love it so much I actually had to come a SECOND time the next day because my girlfriend and I could not get enough of it! The cafe is located in what seems like a business / corporate area. Upon arriving to the front of the store, you'll see its nicely decorated and aesthetic outdoor seating area / patio, great for enjoying your drinks and bingsu. The interior was also really nice and clean. We had the Strawberry Matcha and Mango Bingsu, also ordering a separate Matcha Latte. Both Matcha drinks were spectacular, but the strawberry puree in the Strawberry Matcha was fantastic; sweet but still reminiscent of strawberry, like you can tell that fresh strawberry went into making it. The Bingsu was definitely a highlight for me as well. I'm usually not a fan of milk base Bingsu but the accompanying mango sauce, mango chunks, fresh cream, and cheesecake bites all layered into the shaved show made this a real sweet treat that had so much flavor in every bite. The staff were very friendly and helpful in taking our order. Thanks Hayley and Floe Cafe for this experience!!

Another awesome opportunity right here, very cool being able to participate. I tried out the strawberry bingsoo and grape ade refresher. I am beyond pleased with the bingsoo, that was an awesome treat! It was light and had so much flavor. No replacement for YL, but a welcoming change of pace getting in on something new. With a thorough mixing, the grape ade came through well. Very friendly flavor with strong sparkling water characteristics to it. For me, it paired well with the bingsoo.. Tried a sip of the biscoff latte that we ordered on the side, I was not impressed.. I love the modern feel, the photo booth tucked in the corner, and the outdoor seating so I could feel pinky out with everyone else.. The two ladies working were very friendly, informative with their available selections, and ensured I was happy with my overall experience. Certainly knew what they were doing. I dig how there are multiple coffee/drink spots in this one area. Everyone seems to capitalize on their own business with ease. I came on a Saturday where the surrounding medical buildings were mostly empty, none of the normal weekday traffic happening. I ended up parking my truck in the yellow loading zone right outside of the lot and didn't give a damn, I will tell you straight. I understand that the parking lot ticket can be validated though, for customers of these businesses.

Thank you Yelp OC and Floe Cafe for the sweet treat and refreshing matcha! Parking: Paid/validated parking. Not sure if I got lucky, but I didn't have to pay for parking. I visited on a Saturday afternoon. The parking kiosks were open. I've been in this private lot once before, and usually you do have to pay for parking. The only downside of a paid lot is that you can't take your time, especially if you want to stay and get some work done. Ambiance/Environment: This became a trendy spot through TikTok. There was consistent foot traffic when I visited, and it became busier towards late afternoon. The interior is minimal, bright, and clean. They even have a photo booth inside, which I thought was a cute idea. Although the space is medium sized, they have a good amount of indoor seating. There's also plenty of outdoor seating. Service: The cashier that assisted me was nice and knowledgable about the menu items. Throughput was quick and efficient after ordering. Bingsoo & Matcha: Everything on the menu looked appealing. I decided to try the Biscoff Matcha and Sweet Corn Bingsoo. The cashier mentioned the Biscoff Matcha is more on the sweeter end, so she adjusted the sweetness for me. I really enjoyed their matcha. The color and layers were also nice. The Biscoff flavor came from the foam and topped with Biscoff crumbs and cookie. The foam was thickkk! The flavors balanced perfectly. The Sweet Corn Bingsoo tasted exactly as described. It wasn't overly sweet, and there was a generous amount of corn bits with every bite. Can't wait to come back and try their other bingsoo and drinks!

What a cute cafe! Thank you to Hayley, Yelp team, and Floe Cafe for setting up this wonderful experience! The Floe café is located near the St. Jude medical center. It seems that in the daytime, the café is located in a gated parking lot. Floe does validate your ticket for 2 hours, but parking spots are limited. I chose to go at night to avoid the hassle of going through that. The gate was open, and there were many spots available. The cashier gave me plenty of time to look over the menu. He was friendly and patient. I ordered a strawberry matcha latte, a matcha latte, and a mango bingsoo. I came with a friend, so we could enjoy the café together. The cashier said the extra drink was on the house, but I told him that I would pay. It's important to support local businesses!! The matcha lattes came out first. The drinks are a bit too sweet for my liking. The ice helped dilute the sweetness. The matcha was flavorful and creamy. You could actually taste the matcha in the drinks, which was enjoyable. The mango bingsoo was perfect for sharing between 2 people. The shaved ice was milky, which was pleasant to eat by itself. Personally, I didn't enjoy the mango cream, since it was a bit too rich for me. The bingsoo was a refreshing treat, especially with the fresh mango. My friend and I decided to sit inside. We spent a good hour and a half catching up. The seats are pretty comfortable. There's lots of outside seating, which is perfect for summer time! I wished we did that instead, but maybe next time. I had a great time at this experience. Also, it's nice that they close at 10 pm. The cafe seems like a nice hang out spot, but probably at night. If I'm ever in the area, I would stop by for an iced matcha.

Floe Café is one of several food and drink spots located by mostly medical offices. The parking lot is private and gated, but they will validate parking for you. They have a nice covered patio out front. Inside, it is well air conditioned with several tables and with bench seating at some of the tables. They also have a photo booth and free wifi. I ordered the strawberry bingsoo. It was light, fluffy, refreshing, and not heavy. The bites with strawberry and the cream and syrup on top were extra yummy. The layer of strawberry fruit towards the bottom of the cup was a nice surprise. The regular size is perfect as it is filling, but I didn't feel stuffed after finishing it. The sweetness level was just right. For my drink, I had the Twilight Ube. I asked what was in it and they said whole milk, brown sugar, vanilla syrup, and ube. It had a great purple color, and I loved the foam top with candy sprinkles, but the ube flavor was very faint. I brought my girlfriend along, and she had the mango bingsoo with mochi. She really enjoyed it, but was surprised it had cheesecake bites in it which is normally an add-on. I'm not sure if they just added them by default for Yelpers or if it was a mistake, but she probably would have preferred to have them left out. She had the Grapefruit Ade for her drink which the woman at the counter said was one of her favorites. She really loved it, and said it was obviously freshly squeezed grapefruit as there was some pulp in it also (not a bad thing). Thank you Hayley, Yelp, and Floe Café for this nice treat!

    Einspanner
    Monique D.

The Coffee Biscoff Bingsoo is definitely one of my favorites. It wasn't overly sweet, which I really liked, and I loved the little sprinkles on top. The Biscoff cookie on top tied it all together nicely. I also tried the Einspanner, which was an interesting coffee drink. It's like an espresso topped with cream, but the flavor was perfectly balanced. It wasn't too sweet or bitter, which made it really easy to enjoy. The shop itself is cute, modern, and clean, with a nice atmosphere for hanging out. My only complaint is that some of the tables are a little small, especially if you're sharing a Bingsoo and drinks. They also have a large outdoor patio area, which is a nice option when you don't want to get cooped up inside. Overall, a great little spot for Bingsoo, coffee, and relaxing with friends. I'd definitely come back for another Coffee Biscoff Bingsoo! Thank you Hayley and team for another wonderful Elite Experience!

Thank you OC Yelp Elite Team for this Experience!! I was able to choose one drink and one bingsu for this experience. I went with the strawberry matcha and the grape bingsu. The matcha definitely surprised me! The green was gorgeous and I could tell they were generous with the matcha powder. The strawberry syrup was super yummy as well. Not gonna lie, I didn't think it tasted good during the first sip but as it sat for longer, it got even more delicious. I looooved the grape bingsu! I'm a big fan of green grape so I knew immediately I needed to try it. It was a perfect amount for 1-2 people and it was sooooo creamy and had the perfect amount of inclusions and syrup. I appreciated that it was layered! The shop itself was super cute and they had indoor and outdoor seating.

    Matcha Cloud
    Stephie L.

First off, the matcha is actually pretty good. It's thick, very matcha-y, and not sweetened to high heavens like a lot of other places. If this place was just matcha, I think I'd give it five stars! I tried the Cloud Matcha & I also purchased the banana matcha -- both were excellent. I would come back simply for the matcha. As for the bingsoo, I tried the mango. It was fine, the regular portion is shareable with 2 if you want to cool off. There were a few things that threw me off about the mango bingsoo, though. First, the cheesecake bits didn't feel like they belonged because the sticky texture with the squishy mango didn't complement each other in my opinion. Honestly, that could just be a preference thing. I wasn't a fan of the super thick cream they used, either -- though that might just be because I'm used to condensed milk elsewhere, and this felt a bit too cheesy by comparison. In addition, the mango seemed a bit overripe and there were a few bits that were really dark at the bottom. With only the two types of dessert options, I honestly thought the bingsoo could be a little bit better. Other than that, the cafe itself had a good selection of matcha varieties and I would keep coming back for that! Thank you so much to Floe and the team for generously having us Yelp Elites try out both options! In addition, thank you so much to our Yelp Community Manager and team for always setting up these wonderful places to try!

I heart tacos -- especially street tacos. The private event was also "training day" as a dress rehearsal for the entire team from servers to cooks. The team was sizzling and super friendly! Nearly everyone arrived on time, with Arianna handling check-in and Hayley guiding us to the designated spot. While waiting, I enjoyed two refreshing cups of Agua Fresca - jamaica and guava. There were 6 different flavors to choose from so anyone with mixology background would enjoy the drink station. We each got a choose of 4 generous of either Tacos, Mulitas, or Vampiros with choices of proteins. The tacos were delicious with the corn tortillas made in-house. I was being extra adventurous so tried the tripe and cactus (very acquired taste). The tacos were delicious with the corn tortillas made in-house. If I can do a re-do, I would opt-out of the cactus for chicken instead. I was so full that when it was time for dessert I almost cried knowing that I wouldn't be able to finish it. Our server, Anthony, gave me a lid so I can take the rest home. The Chocolate Abuelita soft serve was delicious and the perfect way to end a great evening. Again - thanks Hayley, Ari and Clinton for capturing the evening.

Every worker was courteous, efficient, and attentive. Special shout out to Marco, the assistant manager, for giving us great recommendations! He's very knowledgeable about the menu items and helped us make decisions when we ordered. I ordered the Pollo Asada taco, Tripa taco, and Asado Vampiro. I really appreciate how generous they are with the meats. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The red and green sauce made it even more flavorful with a nice spicy kick. The vampiro was absolutely crunchy! The toppings and avocado were fresh. The Agua Frescas tastes exactly as it sounds. FRESH. I didn't get to try them all. I only tried the Pepino con Limón and Guayaba con Limón. The cucumber & pineapple were my favorite. I will say you can taste the cucumber more than the pineapple. The guava & lemon was citrusy. We also got the Chocolate Abuelita Soft Serve for desserts. It's chocolate and vanilla swirls with abuelita spice. Nothing special, but it satisfied my sweet tooth! There were fun mystery boxes. Thank you Kartrinna for snagging a box for me haha. We unboxed our's together, and we got a marble face roller!

I'm not sure how their tasting room is usually configured, but tonight it was a nice cozy setting. The front of their space is all windows and lets in a lot of light. Any place that has rope lights overhead always makes me feel festive, especially after the sun goes down. Several of their fermentation kettles are on display next to the entrance. The evening started out with a very educational presentation from David, their master brewer. He provided some history, the differences between Makegolli and Soju, the brewing process, and some of the not so great things that commercial producers do. I found it pretty inspirational when he talked about his upbringing and how he started Nasung Sool. You can tell how passionate he is about his craft. We first tasted Makgeolli. I have never had it before, and it was definitely interesting, in a good way. I have a pretty good palette, and had a hard time describing the flavor. It had a light sweetness, a little bit of a tang, and a little bit of fizz. Next we tasted the Coffee Makgeolli. I don't drink coffee and don't really care for the flavor. However, the coffee flavor was light and not overly bitter. Yes, I finished it. Next we tasted the Matcha Makgeolli. I'm not a matcha lover, but I do enjoy a flavored matcha tea once in a while. I enjoyed this one as it had a very light grassy flavor and the light sweetness of the Makgeolli seemed a slightly stronger to me in this varietal. Next we tasted their soju. I go out for sushi a lot, and we almost always get sake. Every once in a while, our server will comp a bottle of soju and it is almost always a fruit flavored variety on the sweet side. The Nasung Sool soju is very clean and pure. The only light sweetness comes from the rice. I have never tasted a soju like this, and it strikes me as among the Dom Perignons of soju compared to the those that I have had before. It is a little on the strong side, but in a clean way. I think David said it was around 20% ABV. We had one bonus tasting, their Horchata Makgeolli which isn't officially released yet. This was my favorite of the night. It had a little more sweetness with nice classic cinnamon horchata notes. Yelp events always come with a little swag, and this time we all received a nice bento box with Korean snacks inside. It is always nice to catch up with other Yelpers I've have met at previous events and to make new friends. I've attended many wine and spirit tastings, and feel fortunate to have added this unique tasting to my list. I think anybody who enjoys Makgeolli and Soju will have their eyes opened to what these beverages can really taste like from a small craft brewer like Nasung Sool.

I'm so glad it worked out with my schedule because this was truly one of the coolest experiences I've had lately. I'm super grateful for it! I've always loved drinking soju but never took the time to learn much beyond that... until now. Hearing David talk about the craft behind his creations was seriously refreshing. You can tell how passionate he is, and that energy comes through in every single sip his sojus and makgeollis are absolutely delicious! What really stuck with me was how David broke down the fermentation process, it felt like a mini science project in the best way possible. He explained that both soju and makgeolli start with rice as the base. For makgeolli, the rice is fermented with nuruk, giving it that milky, slightly fizzy character. For soju, it's distilled after fermentation, resulting in that clear, stronger spirit. Super cool to finally understand the difference! We were lucky enough to sample some fun flavors too like coffee, matcha, and horchata makgeolli. All of them were so good, I wish they were available for sale already. TTB, hurry up and approve them already!! Big shoutout to Jaemo as well for keeping our cups filled! Overall, such a fun and educational event! I'm already planning to return for the full tasting experience and next time, I'm definitely bringing a cooler to keep my makgeolli fresh for the ride home! The food was phenomenal! I loved the squid ink pasta with the shrimp. The shrimps were so big! The plumpest shrimps ever lol The dessert tower was such a vibe! The presentation was so fun. I can't rave enough about this event! Thank you Hayley and Yelp OC! :) Also, did anyone get valet parking covered? I thought it was free for the event? Confused on that. $9 valet parking for this event.

Almost everybody has heard of Orange Hill Restaurant, and I have dined here quite a few times over the years. However, not many get to experience it the way we did last night. Our tables were set up outside at the end of the patio where weddings are usually performed. What a beautiful view we enjoyed all evening. After we took our seats, we were all served their "One in a melon" watermelon margarita. It was refreshing and very good, and the tequila was at a nice background level. All food arrived at the table "family style" and the crispy Brussel sprouts were served first. They were cooked perfectly with a nice light seasoning with slices of fresh coconut on top. A classic Caesar salad was also served which was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. An impressive charcuterie board was served next. Our board has Fromager, Cambozola, and Rulo cheeses, Salami, spiced pork, and prosciutto meats, walnuts, apricots, apple, mini pickles, some bread, honey, and a mustard spread. There were a lot of good eats on this board to choose from. The first entrée was sea bass. It was cooked well with a nice light buttery flavor, and the broccolini was nice and crisp and not soft from being overcooked. The black rice underneath had a surprising sweetness. The second entrée was the Squid Ink Bucatini. The shrimp on this plate were amazing. They were large, cooked perfectly, had great flavor, and the butterfly cut made them even more enjoyable. The squid ink pasta was good, but it was round and pretty thick and I usually like it flat and thinner. The third entrée was the braised short rib which the server said was his favorite dish at the restaurant. The meat was very tender and flavorful, and just fell apart. The onion rings added a nice mix of texture. The mashed potatoes were rich with great flavor, definitely not your run of the mill mashed potatoes. The grand finale was a parade of four "Up and Up" three level dessert towers with a lit firework fountain on top being delivered to our tables. What a delicious assortment of mini-desserts including key lime pie, crème brulee, crème puffs, brownies, macarons, cookies, and my favorite which was the house made passion fruit flavored marshmallows. Our servers Anthony and Alex were friendly and provided great service all night. Our host Carrie started out with a nice history of the restaurant group, and provided all kinds of great information about the venue and our food as the night progressed. And of course, Hayley and Ari are always keeping tabs on the evening to make sure everything is perfect. One of the most fun parts of these events is always catching up with old Yelp friends and meeting new ones. Thanks again everybody for an outstanding evening.

The owner came out and talked us through the menu, and I loved hearing how much of it is actually made in house, down to the veggies and little details you wouldn't normally think about. It was a warm evening, so starting with the pomegranate mocktail was perfect, refreshing and not too sweet. They brought out samples of new dishes, and my absolute favorite was the crispy rice tuna. The crunch of the rice with the fresh tuna on top was spot on. The fried rice was also really flavorful without being greasy, which I appreciated. What made it feel extra special was that the chef actually came out and answered questions. It gave the whole dinner a more personal touch, like you could feel the pride behind the food. Between the good vibes, the fun little touches like bingo, and the food itself, I'd totally come back again.

The plus side this time around is that they have a completely covered area to eat your food. Picnic benches are laid out with a full awning. Parking is still great. Prices have gone up for both the tickets and parking so be prepared to pay $15 for parking and $15 to get inside. Services dependent on what vendor you buy your food from some will accommodate the request and others will not. Of course if there's no accommodation to the customer, they've lost my business.

[Parking]: $15 per vehicle for on-site parking just to enter the OC Fair & Event Center. [Admission]: Our party purchased the same-day tickets and paid a $16 per person entry fee. [What to expect]: The market was approximately half food vendors and half arts / crafts / gift vendors. There were solid craft and gift vendors, but not too many art vendors. The food was extremely overpriced ... a simple appetizer = at least $15+ & a filling meal = at least $25. The only real positive? There was a mahjong area that offered free lessons. The performance stage was alright. [Food]: Our party ended up getting only 6 pieces of soup dumplings (aka XLB) from Dumpling Dream for $14 and a cup of gelatea from Boutcha for $7.20 (one of the most affordable and best item to get at the market). [Conclusion]: If I ever come back to 626 Night Market, I would probably stick with the Arcadia location as parking is free and the admission fee is slightly cheaper. I am still having a hard time digesting the fact that getting into the market cost $30+ before even buying any food if I come here alone and I would also need to spend another $25+ just to feel like I had eaten a legit meal. I am good with this one-and-done visit.

What a fun & deliciously indulgent Elite Event! Thank you Hayley & Yelp for organizing it!…read more I went on Tuesday & like everyone else I found Neil (the owner) to be super nice, helpful & proud of his business. If you're from Ohio you may be very familiar with Strickland's. It started there in the 1930's. The ice cream is freshly made in small batches. Reese's Cup was one of the 4 flavors of the day (chocolate & vanilla are available everyday). My Boyfriend decided on the Arctic Twister with added M & M's. It was frosty & thick, a super premium Blizzard if you will. I couldn't resist going with the Dubai Chocolate Sundae. It's available for a limited time. Neil educated me on Dubai Chocolate. The crunchy bits & the crushed pistachios & that creamy rich chocolate....so decadent! I sampled the Black Sesame flavor (the other flavor of the day). Another winner! They also make pies using this unique flavor for The Chinese Moon Festival. Strickland's is somewhat hidden in that it's not facing the parking lot but it's around the corner next to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

Today it was butterscotch and orange-pineapple. We had the latter two and they were spectacular. This is real deal high buttercream premium stuff!
