Thank you to Haley and to the owners of Musubi Square for organizing and hosting this amazing YEE!! Their whole menu is amazing and I was excited to see a couple new delicious-sounding items available: short ribs musubi taco and the soft shell crab musubi. I also picked up: a Wagyu/feta taco, an unagi taco, spam & egg musubi and a crab musubi ~ a feast!! The "extras" I ordered have been standard favorites for a while. The tacos as packed with protein and are downright crave-worthy!! The musubis always hit the spot (if you're feeling feisty, the spicy crab musubi has quite a kick!). The new menu items did not disappoint and have earned spots on our standard favorites for future visits. My goodness, the short ribs on the taco were not skimped on and the flavor, oh the flavor....SO good! The soft shell crab musubi was the bougie one in the box. The crab was perfectly crisped and so dang delicious! And now I'm hungry for Musubi Square. I'll be back soon!!! :)

I had an amazing experience trying Musubi Square. I am very thankful for the invite! The menu was extensive with some unique offering like the taco musubi. For the experience, I got to choose the taco musubi and a musibi. I ended going for the Grilled unagi taco musubi and Cispy soft shell crab musubi. Grilled unagi taco musubi- It had unagi, crab, cilantro-cucumber pickled, sesame seeds and rice. This was delicious although I would prefer less of the eel sauce on top. Cispy soft shell crab musubi- It had soft-shell crab, crab, seaweed and sesame. I enjoyed this one as well. I think I prefer this one more than the taco musubi. I'd defintely come back!

Musubi Square is tucked into an older strip mall, so parking is limited and it's easy to drive past. Fortunately, the restaurant's dark new sign makes it much easier to spot. Inside, the space is compact, with only five tables. Ventilation is limited, so a fan is used to help circulate the air. :) The restroom is for customers only, and you'll need to ask the owner for the access code. There's also just one cook, so during my visit every table was occupied, and my order took a little over 15 minutes to prepare so be patient. The owner is shy but very nice. The musubi taco is one of the most unique items on the menu. The uniqueness is the shell is a thick, crispy fried seaweed wrap. The toppings are variety of creative fusion meats or crunchy fried seafood. I really enjoyed the seaweed shell. The fried calamari version, however, was a bit too rich for my taste and gave me heartburn afterward. :( The crunchy shrimp musubi was the standout and very generous in size so would explain why each one cost about $10 -- so just one made for a satisfying meal but I got myself two additional ones to support the shop! I think the place needs some music to lively up the atmosphere.

I love Musubi Square and was happy to see them as part of a Yelp elite event! Came by on a Friday afternoon and for the yuzu pork taco musubi (my personal fave) and a spam musubi. Wait was about 15 minutes so I walked over to the plaza next door to grab a drink from Da Vien. I always think the musubi options are solid here and love that everything is made to order. Great for a snack or lunch and portions are pretty good :) Thank you yelp!

I actually have been wanting to try this place since they opened so I was very appreciative I got in this Elite Experience. Musubi specalizes in all things musubi but they are popular for their special one of a kind musubi tacos. This is what I have been wanting to check out. We were able to get any regular musubi and taco on the menu. I had to try their soft shell crab musubi and the unagi (eel) taco musubi. The soft shell crab musubi came in a box of two large ones with some ponzu tasting sauce. It was flavorful and I enjoyed it had some imitation crab in there as well. It is good if you are a crab fan. But the unagi taco musubi was my absolute favorite. It had a large flavorful eel on top on some yummy rice wrapped in a super crispy seaweed taco shell. I don't know how they did it but the crispy texture of the seaweed with the soft unagi was perfection. I was so glad I got it and one taco was quite large and filling. Pricing is normally very affordable and I love they have many options including no meat ones. The inside is small and casual but it is clean with lots of tables and chairs. The people behind the counter was really nice. I came during a busy time for lunch and was told it would be a 15 minute wait warning which was nice. Thank you to Hayley, Yelp OC and staff at Musubi Square for this special event. I will be back and can't wait to share with others of this spot.

I had been to Musubi Square once before and I tend to forget about it, so I was happy to get into this event to try some more items. We were allowed one musubi and one taco musubi, which I didn't remember existing. I like that this place offers so many protein options and not just your standard spam musubi. I originally went planning on getting crab for my musubi, but I wanted to get a little more value since it was free and opted for the soft shell crab. Ideally I should have done the same thing with the taco musubi by getting the short rib or the wagyu, but I was curious about the calamari with yuzu aioli. Unfortunately, I couldn't get there until the prime of lunch time so it was very full inside and they were fulfilling many door dash orders as well. I happened to find a one seater and decided to eat there. I observed other Yelpers claiming their deals as well after me. Both items were quite tasty. I was especially impressed with the taco musubi because it was laid out like a taco, it was full of calamari, and the shell was crispy. I will definitely have to come back more to try more or all of their options at some point. The short rib is labeled as best on their menu along with a few others. I think Wagyu was one of them. I will have to definitely try those next. Thank you Musubi Square and Yelp OC for the free yummy musubi. The staff was great as well.

OMG this place is really delicious and off the charts! Their short rib taco was so loaded with meat. The fried onions were addicting. Then their bulgoti musubi was also loaded and pure perfection. It came with a side of some kind of savory vinegar that was a perfect touch! Their ITOTEN Japanese Iced TEA was tremendous! Music was a touch loud though. I like to hear myself think. Service was good, they bring your food to your table.

Musubi Square is a fast-casual Asian restaurant serving specialized musubis. It's not a classic Hawaiian restaurant but instead serves various Asian cuisines in musubi format. It's located in a small plaza in Anaheim. I ordered the soft shell crab musubi and the Korean bbq rib taco musubi. The soft shell crab was crispy and had imitation crab alongside it. It had less rice than typical musubi which was a plus for me. The bbq rib taco musubi had bigger portions than I expected and the pictures really don't do it justice. The meat was smokey, tender, and overflowed off the taco. Speaking of, the seaweed was the tortilla but was easy to fall apart; it was stable until I bit into it. It's such an interesting concept and I was so intrigued seeing "taco musubi". Thanks to Yelp and Musubi Square for the experience!

Thank you Hayley and Yelp OC for another great event! I tried the following and loved everything: - Korean bbq short ribs taco musubi - Grilled unagi taco musubi - Crunchy crumble shrimp taco musubi - Crispy soft shell crab musubi This place has really cool taco musubi with many unique flavors. They are so creative for using seaweed as the taco shell. Each taco musubi is huge, very crispy, and filled with so much food. My favorite is the Korean bbq short ribs taco musubi. The meat was so juicy and tender. It had really good flavor, beefy, with hint of sweetness. The seaweed shell was crispy like a real taco shell. It had little rice to meat ratio. I didn't expect it to have soooo much meat! One taco musubi can be one whole meal! The remaining three were good as well. The soft shell crab musubi was good and sweet. The grilled unagi and crunchy crumble shrimp taco musubi were huge! They were just a little too sweet for me because of the eel sauce, but other than that, they were delicious! It was a very enjoyable meal and I definitely would come back.

Huge thanks to our Orange County Yelp community manager, Hayley, for setting up this Elite event! Tucked away in a small, unassuming strip mall, this spot proves you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Here's the breakdown on the experience: The Vibe & Parking: Don't let the modest plaza exterior fool you. Inside, it's clean, organized, and super welcoming. Having a decent parking lot is always a huge plus in Orange County. Wagyu Feta Taco: The absolute star of the event! The tender, rich wagyu paired with the sharp, salty bite of feta cheese inside a crisp seaweed taco shell was pure genius. The flavors balanced out incredibly well. Bulgogi BBQ Musubi: Decent. The Korean-style marinated beef was deeply savory, sweet, and juicy, layered perfectly over warm rice and crisp nori. It's a heavy-hitting comfort food bite that delivers on every level. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the event, which always makes a huge difference in the experience. Will definitely be back for more!

What a great event for Yelp OC! Finally tried Musubi Square and it's been on my list for awhile! i got the short rib taco and the miso salmon musubi and they both delicious! the taco is definitely very unique. i wanna try more!

First and foremost, thank you Hayley and Musubi Square! It's the first time I've heard of this spot & it was yummy! Upon entering, the gentlemen greeted me and was quite friendly & helped me decide which taco/musubi to choose. Quite frankly, they all sounded great! I'm a huge fan of eel so I decided on the eel taco and crab musubi. I've never had anything quite like it before. Can I just say the taco was huge!?! I did NOT expect it to be that size. The crab musubi was also good, but the taco really did something for me. It was SO flavorful! There's decent amount of parking and seats. It was a bit hot in the shop and the decor could use a bit of work, overall I enjoyed the visit and I cannot wait to go back and try more flavors. They are all reasonably priced as well!

I visited around 3pm on Monday and it was pretty empty inside. It has a very bright interior with lots of seating. I walked right up to the counter to order and the lady who helped me was nice. It took about 10 minutes for my order, which was the yuzu pork taco musubi and the crunchy shrimp musubi. I really enjoyed both of these. Very unique compared to other spots like it around OC. Each musubi was really flavorful and they did not skimp with the portions. My only gripe is that it is a bit pricey for a snack/small bite. Worth it nonetheless, and I would definitely come back. Thank you Yelp OC for hosting this event, and thank you Musubi Square for the delicious bites!

I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of berries. I don't hate them but I'm also not obsessed. So when…read moreI went to Knott's one day and it became crazy packed, I got irritated and literally mentally fought showing any interest in anything boysenberry. I snubbed the boysenberry so hard. Boysenberry fans, jam packed Knott's for the month and I was not having it. No joke, I seriously boycotted the whole thing. I eventually gave in on the very last day when I met a very nice and friendly family from Northern CA. They had boysenberry glazed thick cuts of bacon. BACON. That's what got my attention. I was like, "That's it! Sold!" I regret not buying the boysenberry food passes sooner. I caved so late in the game and then frantically tried to find six boysenberry items to redeem it with. By that time, lines were crazy long and it sucked to wait in long lines for the next handful of hours. Tip: Don't be silly or dumb like me, and just buy the pass as soon as the festival starts. You can redeem throughout the month or all in one day. Totally up to you. For sure don't wait until the last minute. Since I only had a handful of time left that very last day, I only tried four items but we doubled up on two of them. Boysenberry food we tried from the boysenberry food pass: 1) Boysenberry beef brisket over Mac n cheese - 5/5 stars. I liked that they used white cheese for this. The meat was tender, juicy, and the sauce did not over-power at all. 2) Boysenberry BBQ meatballs over mashed potatoes - 5/5 stars. We wished we had gotten more than one order of this. 3) Boysenberry glazed thick slicked bacon on a stick (not pictured) - 5/5 stars. This was so popular that they ran out the first three times I went to get some. I finally got two sticks on my fourth attempt. The two sticks were thick and generous portions. Between the five of us sharing the bacon, it was actually a decent amount. It's almost like ham, so I couldn't finish one stick of this on my own. 4) Elote with boysenberry butter, boysenberry mayo and cotija cheese - 5/5. OMG. This was our absolute favorite out of the four. It was surprisingly SO GOOD. We got two but could've eaten a couple more between all of us. Boysenberry food items I ordered that was not part of the boysenberry food pass: 1) Grilled salmon salad with a boysenberry vinaigrette - 5/5. This can be found at Coasters Diner. That boysenberry dressing was amazing. I desperately wanted more. 2) Boysenberry marinated carnitas - 4/5. Served at Casa California located in Fiesta Village. I had this like once in the beginning and again at the end of the festival. It is good. Don't get me wrong, but I was wanting carnitas carnitas. If you know what I mean. Still delicious and I'd eat it again. It sounds kinda weird to have boysenberry on savory foods but it just works. It's shocking that it's not a strong berry flavor which is what I had expected before I even tried anything. That's my bad. Now that I've had a taste of boysenberry food at Knott's, I will be much smarter about it for seasons to come. I ended up enjoying the food so much, one of the kids and I, commemorated it by buying matching boysenberry sweaters. I'm a huge fan now!

It is a cross between a raspberry, blackberry and a loganberry. Interesting! This is the berry that is celebrated at Knotts Berry Farm's Boysenberry Festival! I've come to Knott's Berry Farm for the festival a few times on my own and once for a Yelp Elite Event (YEE: Ditch Day at Knott's Boysenberry Festival in 2018). This review is mainly for this year, March 13 through April 12, 2026: You can outright pay for Boysenberry food items, or you can buy a Tasting Card. The price for the card fluctuated during the festival. I went online to buy the Tasting Card for $45 because I saved some money instead of buying in person. Once you receive the email, you have to take it to a store or kiosk that sells them and they will scan the QR Code & give you the physical Tasting Card with lanyard. One card allows you 6 food items. Not all Boysenberry food items are eligible to be used with the Tasting Card. If I was a drinker, I'd use my Tasting Card on Alcoholic Beverages because they cost the most. The 6 Items we used our card on were: *Boysenberry Sausage on a Hoagie with Boysenberry Mustard, Peppers, and Crispy Fried Onions ($11.99+tax) ~ this is really good! *Spicy Bulgogi Over Rice ($11.99) ~ it was okay *Boysenberry & Matcha Mousse Cup ($10.49) ~ nice dessert and it came in a plastic keepsake cup when I got it. They switched to disposable plasticware by my next visit. *Boysenberry Beef Brisket over Mac and Cheese ($11.99) ~ Brisket was oversauced, didn't care for this *Crispy Chicken Wings with a Boysenberry Sriracha Dipping Sauce ~ the wings were delicious *Boysenberry Brick with Boysenberry Jam & Boysenberry Soft-Serve Ice Cream($9) ~ this was quite tasty but needed more ice cream! ***One thing to note about the Tasting Card is that there are no tabs to tear off, so you have to keep track of how many you've used. I prefer visually seeing how many I have left rather than relying on my memory. Items we paid for separately were: *Deep Fried Cinnamon Sugar Churro w/ Boysenberry Bavarian Cream & Boysenberry Ice Cream ($9.49+tax) ~ get this! *Boysenberry Kiwi Lemonade ($9.49) - [topped with a blackberry, so odd!] ~ not worth the price, but was alright *Lg. Boysenberry Milk Tea ($11) from Leafy Love Tea Kiosk ~ not bad, but too pricey for the amount of drink *Boysenberry Soft-Serve Ice Cream Cone ($7.99) ~ always a hit! *Coconut Cream Bao Buns with a Boysenberry Drizzle ($9.49) ~ served nice and hot ... pretty good! *Boysenberry & Cheese Muffin ($4.99) ~ muffin was super dry, skip it *Boysenberry Sassparilla Soda in a bottle ($3.99) ~ I prefer the regular Sassparilla TIP: Mrs. Murphy's Kitchen is an indoor area with seating and you can enjoy the cool A/C while you eat! There are so many food and drink options for the Boysenberry Festival this year! Sadly, we only scratched the very tip of the iceberg of offerings available! We came 3 times to use up our card and try as much food as we could. There are outside vendors selling stuff you wouldn't normally find at Knott's apart from the festival. I enjoy seeing what they have. There were some glassblowers & a silversmith working. Be sure to go to Old MacDonald's Barn to see the Mama Goat (Patty) and her kids Belle & Lenny. If you walk around Boysenberry Lane just past Ghost Rider, there are more shops and Photo Op places. There's also a place to buy Boysenberry Plants! It's best to come with family or friends who will share so you can try more items! We will most likely return again next year!

Lol kids running wildly, I'm thinking their parents dropped them off and left. Also if you should know it was, Shoulder to shoulder rubbing with strangers. Long long long lines around and hour in. Curious if the crowd died down later in the night ? Since it was 4-10pm The free music was fun, and set the mood. I love that healthy junk promotes wellness for all. What a fun market faire type of event! A lot of vendors from previous years and photos were NOT here. Since this was my first year attending I was specifically looking for a few that looks delicious with hopes let down. Supposedly some of them come from Nor Cal and other places. I do really appreciate all of the vendors being pretty friendly, and most of all vegan. Prices were okay, the dip dots soy icecream was very overpriced. Pizza slices were also up the wazoo. Ended up eating inside of healthy junk per usual. Thought they'd have more than brauts outside, was hoping for some creative dishes... Overall; worth it if you're okay with crowds, little seating a lot of standing. Hot sun, but plenty of options to cool down with drinks or indoor places to eat at instead on the downtown area. This was a fun way to try new places though, and just a very cool event !

The drum stick was a little small but the chicken thigh was a nice size. Both pieces had crispy skin and was cooked to perfection. I got the mac and cheese and it was really good, similar taste to Pollo Locos mac and cheese. I would not recommend getting the Horchata, it was way too sweet. 4 Stars because the restaurant was dirty when we arrived. There isn't a trash can on the floor, so employees have to come pick up after patrons after they are done eating. Maybe they were short staffed when I went but the empty tables had plates and trash. Thank you Yelp & Hayley :D

Thanks OC Yelp for organizing this event. Definitely coming back for more tasty chicken.

Oh man, just when I needed an energy boost after a month of madness called March, this sadly wasn't…read moreit. If you've been following me last month, you'll know I had a pretty brutal month with a seemingly endless onslaught of difficult people and quite the quagmire that, NGL, even included a couple days of mentally preparing for life without Yelp and the friends I've made in this community. To be honest, I didn't even know what I was thinking or getting myself into by signing up for this YEE. A far drive to a tea house in Anaheim just for two drinks that would probably exceed my weekend quota of added sugars? Well, if it was only one drink, I probably wouldn't have even RSVPed, but two? Sure, let's give them a try! What's the worst that could happen? Well, let's see: * Indifferent service from an employee * Being asked for my name again when my name had already been checked off the guestlist * Having to clean a table before I could enjoy my drinks * Having one of my energy drinks on the pickup counter for the taking by anybody else even though my name wasn't called yet * Energy drinks that didn't really taste like energy drinks * Hearing foul language while trying to enjoy my drinks * Walking all the way to the pickup counter to get napkins or to toss trash in an already full trash can * Dropping a heavy box not one, but ten times a few feet away from me For this YEE, lucky Elites like yours truly were entitled to try Tastea's two energy drinks, which I believe have recently been added to their menu. I'm sure others have overlooked this, but the complimentary offering also includes honey boba and/or crystal boba. I arrived at about 2 PM on Saturday, and there were some customers ordering at a kiosk. No employees offered to assist me, so then I went to the other counter, thinking the Elite Yelpers should have gone there instead. Nope, it was pickup counter, so I went back to the order counter where Maggie finally assisted me. I told her I was with Yelp and showed her my name so she could check it off the guestlist. She seemed kind of sweet at first, but then she suddenly handed the reins to her co-worker, who was more sour. She had this stern and unwelcoming attitude that didn't make me feel welcome, even as a VIP guest. She was willing to explain the drinks to me, but forgot to mention that the Shark Bite energy drink included gummies. I was planning on choosing crystal boba with the drink that had gummies, and honey boba for the other drink, so I had to ask for clarification which of the drinks had gummies before I could assign the boba types to the drinks. Then, I was asked for my name (again) even though I had already given it to Maggie to check me off the list. I thought I said it already? She said they still had to ask for my name to assign it to my order. I guess they don't know what the word efficiency means... Tastea shares a spot with THH, and that caused me to clean a table that was last used by THH customers before I could sit down. I couldn't find napkins anywhere except at the pickup counter, which was at the other end of the shop. A more centralized location for napkins would have worked better, and same with the trash can, which was by the pickup counter as well. At the 5-minute mark, I saw one drink that was ready for the taking, but couldn't tell if it was mine or not. Any unscrupulous individual could have snatched it, and with how service was going that day, I can't be certain they would have remade my drink even if it was their bad at failing to call out my name in the first place. But it took a few more seconds before a male bobarista had my other drink ready and called my name. I wasn't offered a drink carrier, so I had to carry the drinks and napkins to the table, almost fearing I'd drop a drink on the floor. Armed with two drinks on the table, it was my time to chillax after a long week of work. Or maybe not. The music that was playing was pretty loud, and it was rap music that even had an F bomb in it. In a place where children could hear it? And I *think* the stern employee even threw one herself? I couldn't tell for sure, but hearing that one F bomb during my visit was grounds enough for me to not recommend Tastea as a place to take the kiddos. I also witnessed her drinking one of the energy drinks on the clock. And that wasn't the end of it. That employee dropped a box ten times just a few feet away from me! The first time startled me so much I could have easily spilled the drinks on the table! I saw her drop the box about 9 more times, probably to extricate some frozen ingredients from ice? The drinks themselves were good, and I do appreciate she reminded me about the boba, which tasted QQ, hence why I'm not giving one star. Unfortunately, a return visit to Tastea, even one closer to me, is unlikely, but thank you Hayley, Yelp Orange County, and Tastea for the experience. Too bad the drinks lacked caffeine and failed to give me the energy boost I was expecting :(

He also gave me the option of picking out which pin I wanted. I chose purple, my favorite color! I also added honey boba to both drinks. The drinks are big! I love the colors of the drinks. Unfortunately, it's not possible to change the sweetness of the drinks. I suggest just letting the ice melt to dilute the drinks. I enjoyed both drinks! My favorite though was the shark bite, since it was a bit more tart. I would describe both drinks as a carbonated drink. It is a tad sweet, but still tasty and enjoyable! I still have energy in the afternoon! I got these drinks around 11 am when the store first opened. Thank you Yelp Elite, Tastea, and Hayley for this energizing Yelp event!
