My fingers are now dyed yellow.

I gave 1 star because the egg drop soup is the only thing this place has that is edible. I ordered lemon chicken, there was no natural lemon flavor in the dish at all. All food coloring and artificial lemon flavor. I pulled the breading apart with my fingers and they are stained from all the food coloring in the dish. I did say I didn't like it and they took 50% of my bill. I won't be going back.

Called to order an egg fried rice as I was visiting Banner Baywood and it was right around the corner. Paid $14 even and the fried rice was tasteless, I tasted a brunt taste . Rice is over cooked and a bit soggy like they heated the rice over and over again. Kinda like a Panda Express fried rice taste. Very old ambience to the restaurant and not welcoming at all.

This place has been the same owner for years! I was recently turned onto this place by Dr. Michael Kenney who owns Kenney Chiropractic on Power Rd about a block away. He suggested the lunch menu and I ordered the spicy Kung Pao shrimp. The owner herself was taking our order and managing the restaurant. The restaurant, while a little dated looking, was very well kept and clean. The food came out quickly and it was tasty! I ordered a Mongolian beef to go for my co-worker who also enjoyed his food. I am on a contract that will keep me in this area for a year so I'll be back!

This place is a gem!…read more Our problem is that each dish is better than the next. We think we know what we want to order when we walk in. But, we'll see something new on the menue, and it then becomes our new favorite. ANYthing we order has been outstanding. The service is very friendly and very helpful. They are very accomodating. The atmosphere is not fancy, but it is clean. While eating there, I always say. "I can't wait to come back." Just writing this review is making me yearn to eat there now, and I just ate there two days ago. If you have a favorite Asian restaurant that is different from Old Town Taste, I challenge you to try this restaurant. I am confident it will become your new favorite. I'm sorry that you don't like to take responsibility for your mistakes. And yes, while we were on the phone, we determined that there was only the one item missing so that comment was unnecessary. I did not make my order through DoorDash. I specifically went to your website and chose delivery through your online portal.. the first step of owning a good business or running a good business is owning up to your mistakes!! Very frustrating experience. I placed a delivery order (almost $100 from their website, not an 3rd party) and an item was missing. When I called, they argued with me and insisted they "knew" they packed it, like I'd lie over a $10 item. They made me send photos before agreeing to remake it and said they would deliver it. 30 minutes later nothing arrived. When I called back, they said they had no driver and told me to pick it up even though I paid for delivery because I did not have a vehicle at the time. They refused to refund me, hung up, and even blocked my number. I had to go in person just to deal with it, they continued to refuse a refund for the item until I told them I would bring the police due to them stealing from me. Terrible customer service and very disappointing. I will never go back to this establishment and I highly recommend that you don't either

Ordered the pork and chives dumplings, XLB, and Beef chow fun. Service was expedient and waters were already preset on the table. Chow fun had the wok hay ( wok air that makes food taste good) and thick slices of velveted beef slices. Pork and chive dumpling and XLB were juicy and moist and delicious with the ginger black vinegar chili oil sauce. I really like the food here and staff moves fast. Great place for a quick lunch.

Great little dumpling place!…read more The place is small, with limited seating, so be prepared to wait a little, though we didn't wait long! Maybe 20 minutes? The staff was all really friendly which surprised me because I swear they never stopped! They were busy but still kind and attentive! We ordered the spicy dumplings and the Hong Kong Fried Rice! The Boas were good, but the dough was a little thicker than I'm used to. So I felt full rather quickly! The fried rice however, 10/10 NO NOTES!!! Best fried rice I think I've ever had!! Totally worth the drive. Will be back for sure!!

Parking 5/5 Very busy lot, however; we parked at store-front between two places of interest. Atmosphere 5/5 Small quaint women owned Chinese restaurant celebrating 17 years! There were ~ 4 booths on the sides, we sat at two tables pushed together which could accommodate four. Service 5/5 Call-in order and table service. There were several pick-up customers during our lunch who appeared to be regulars based on their conversations. The owner brought us menus from the counter and took our beverage orders giving us a chance to look over the menu. After returning with our drinks she asked if we had any questions and we did. She was very pleasant and helpful. My wife ordered the Egg Foo Young, fried rice and small egg drop soup. I picked the Sweet & Sour Pork, fried rice and the large egg drop soup. Service today was amazing and friendly. Food 5/5 Oh my, all your favorites are on the menu. Our Egg drop soup hit the table in short order and both of us approved, excellent Egg Drop! Onto the entrees My wife's Egg Foo Young arrived first and her plate had several large and fluffy pieces that looked very tasty. It came with the traditional sauce on the side, and fried rice. The owner encouraged me to try some and my fork obliged. OM Gosh, perfectly cooked, wonderful texture and flavor! My dish is my regular go-to when trying new Chinese cuisine. The pork was perfectly cooked, slight crispy which I enjoyed. The S&S sauce was nice as well. I added some of my rice to the mix. Based in both our entree selections I will order these again! Our cook came out to clear our table and we thanked him for a great lunch. $48.35 plus tip for our visit today and we had leftovers too. Egg Foo Young my friends-SYOY!
