This review is for carry out, but I also sat in the restaurant while I waited for my order and found the overall experience to be really pleasant. I visited the restaurant on a Wednesday afternoon, and so there wasn't a ton of traffic. I was immediately helped at the counter by a lady. I assume was the owner. She was really helpful, took my order and promptly directed me to seating while I waited. The restaurant is sparsely decorated, with about 6 to 8 tables, well lit and clean. I ordered the Mongolian beef and crab Rangoon, And when I got home, I found everything to be extremely satisfying. The Mongolian beef was done really well, and I asked for extra green onions because sometimes restaurants go a little light on that element. But they did not disappoint at all! The crab Rangoons were also really good, with plump filling, and a perfect fry. Price was really affordable, and the location is right at a popular intersection where I do a lot of shopping, so this is definitely a place. I will be checking out in the future. read more

My family and I have been eating at King Wok for atleast 15yrs. We moved from Hawaii to Arizona and have been living here for 18yrs. Once we found this restaurant, it was like finding a diamond in the rough. Flavors of dishes that reminded me of my childhood days eating at authentic Chinese restaurants in Honolulu. Boneless BBQ Pork, House Egg Fu Yung, Wonton Soup, Crispy Chicken Wings, and the list goes on. I believe we ate almost everything on the menu. The food is always hot and delicious. Weather you order takeout or eat at the restaurant. They do their best to give you a great experience of culture. The only time we eat elsewhere for Chinese food, is if we are out of town. Recommend King Wok to everyone. Especially when we have family and friends visiting from back home. Enjoy! read more

This place is so good!!! and reasonable!!!. I first soloed it for lunch a few years ago in the restaurant and got a lunch combo. It is pretty small inside so nearly all of their business is Togo or delivery. We usually order delivery and regularly order the same thing, like tonight. We get the Crab Rangoon, Orange Chicken, Vegetable lo mein and Shrimp and Eggplant in Garlic Sauce. Everything is quality and flavorful. I called in the order and the delivery was literally at my door 14 min later. We live at Ray and Lindsay and they are on Warner and Lindsay, so a long block and into the housing tract Crazy!!! Perfect timing for Mother's Day pick -up! Ordered online and drove straight over, all our hot tasty food was ready in 20 minutes: Pan fried chicken dumplings (8) were moist and tender. Sesame noodles have an irresistible spicy sauce that keeps you wanting more. House won ton soup has a great variety of meat! House chow fun has a delicious texture with a complimentary sauce to pair with the various meats. The food is great, BUT when you order a 2ltr of pop - which is on their online menu, you end up getting 3 12oz cans. 12×3=36 ounces. 2 ltr is about 67 ounces. I called and was told they match the price, not the ounces. If you don't have 2ltrs, take it off your menu. I guess math is not your fortay. This has happened before, but I wrote it off as they were out of 2 ltrs. This is the 2nd time this has happened, and I have been ripped off from King Wok. King Wok is my home away from home. Growing up in San Francisco and eating dim sum every Sunday will make you crave Chinese food often and I am so thankful for King Wok! King Wok is decently priced, includes large portions and quick delivery! I love ordering from them when I need to fill the craving! I would highly recommend the Beef Chow Fun, Mongolian Beef, Chicken & Broccoli (make it spicy) and anything with Bean Curd (Tofu dishes). We have eaten at King Wok for years. Overall the food is good but, there is nothing special about it. It does tend to be a little greasy or not crispy enough. The shining light is their delivery time frame, when ordering for delivery their standard time is 45 minutes and it arrives in 15-20 minutes. Their delivery abilities may be the culprit for the lack luster food. I would rather wait the 45 rather than have it faster for a better quality product. 3 stars for their food 5 stars for the delivery time frame. read more

Ordered takeout from King Wok. It took over an hour to receive the food. This has to have been the worst tasting Chinese food that I've ever had. It was worse than any mall food court food you could get. Most of the food had zero flavor and seemed like it was probably frozen. Even the egg rolls had zero flavor. We all ate the white rice which was the best thing and then threw away half full plates and everything else that was left in the containers. I highly suggest you look elsewhere and am completely shocked that this place hasn't gone out of business. We usually get Pei Wei to go, but they closed in response to COVID-19. So, we tried something new. We ordered 4 dishes; beef and broccoli, Mongolian beef, Moo Goo Gai Pan, and Kung Pao chicken. The Mongolian beef was our favorite! Nice spice and sort tasty. Our least favorite was the Moo Gai Pan; it just didn't have much flavor. The order was ready in exactly 15 minutes as promised. Wow! Where do I start with my review this is a very small fast food restaurant so if you decide to eat the food here I would get it to go. I ordered the Mongolian beef combo the egg roll was great so that is my reason for giving this place 2 stars otherwise I'd be giving it 1. Being 40% Mexican Native American I love spicy food but the beef was so spicy i couldn't eat it all and the fried rice tasted like they opened up a box of rice a roni and added some frozen veggies to it. As for my boyfriends chicken like mein the noodle 's were ok but the the chicken had a rubbery texture to it. My advice to ya all is pick up Panda Express or Pei Wei before stopping in here it wasn't a pleasant dinning experience at all in my opinion. So to update my review as of 11/8/2019 this place also rips off their customers by adding their own tip to your credit or debit card don't eat here by any means dishonest businesses need to be shut down. read more

We have gone here for over 20 years. Ordered tonight and it said it had to be picked up but I gave a 20% tip for delivery and asked don't ring door bell cause dog had surgery. It's been a few years since my last review so I thought I'd take the time to give an update. First off, we're still ordering take out multiple times a month. It's that good and the family is never tired of it. The prices are great for the portions they give you, they do not skimp! We have always had good service over the phone and polite delivery drivers. On to the food! Being vegetarian I appreciate all of the veggie options and love that they pack in a ton of fresh veggies! I have liked every tofu dish I have tried. Garlic is still my go-to though! The vegetable dumplings were a favorite also but sadly they changed their recipe and what used to be a cabbage, green onion & tofu fill is now a blended broccoli medley of sorts and not nearly as good. Not to mention, it's not at all what I'd expect to find in dumplings. So that was a huge bummer. They will be missed I will still come for the main dishes but will be searching for a new dumpling place. read more

Ordered Pad Thai and Orange Beef. The Pad Thai is saturated with far too much be of a very sweet and citrusy tasting orange colored sauce. There's barely any hint of fish sauce or other traditional flavors I was expecting. The Orange Beef is an even greater disappointment. Ordered through Grubhub for delivery. Food arrived 20 minutes past what the expected delivery time was supposed to be. I placed my order at 6:30 and it arrived at 7:45 and it was ICE COLD! Why be in the delivery business if you're going to deliver cold food. My last order was also delivered COLD but I thought it was an off night so I forgave it but 2 orders in a row, that's a problem. It's not the best, it's not the worst. It's NY-style Chinese food, and if that's what you're looking for, then this is a place from which you can procure it. I ordered a few dishes tonight for delivery, and everything was the very definition of A-OK. They forgot to put crispy noodles in, so I called them up and they sent some right over to me, no problem. They also included spicy mustard without my having to ask for it, so that was nice. I enjoyed what I had ordered, because it was exactly what I wanted. Every once in awhile, you just crave some NY-style Chinese food. You can get it here.
