Best barber in Sonoma County, I've been going to Yeong for many years and she always gives the best, most consistent hair cut. I tried a bunch of other barber shops in the area but kept getting inconsistent cuts, different barbers each time as well as higher and higher prices. Yeong always has the best vibe and amazing attitude. She's great to chat with and her prices are low for the amazing quality she delivers. I'll never not get a my hair cut here. Love this place! Been coming to Yeong for 4 years now, she cuts both my hair and my two boys as well. Always a good haircut and also very efficient with time so we're in and out fairly quickly. Haircut was uneven, one side of my head was clearly longer than the other. Didn't cut my hair as requested and decided to do something she wanted. Less of a fade into the undercut and more of a straight line which made it look like I cut my hair myself except I didn't, I paid $50 for someone else to do an incredibly mediocre job. Literally go anywhere else. I'm not picky about haircuts, but this was so obviously uneven it was clearly a rush job even though there wasn't a single other person in the barbershop, which makes sense seeing as how other people probably had a similar experience to mine. Wish I had better things to say but unfortunately I don't and now I'll have to pay to get another haircut in the same week because of how bad this one was. Decided to try a barber shop in Sebastopol to save money from going to a salon and to support the local economy. There were no prices listed but I thought "It's a barbershop; how expensive could it be?" Turned out to be $40. Not including tip. At a barber shop. I suspect that she just charged what she thought she could get away with based on our conversation during the cut. Too bad. I would have liked to have continued keeping the money in Sebastopol, but I'll never go back to her. read more

Very sweet lady who knows exactly what she's doing! I've been a constant regular for over a year now because she knows how to deal with my thick wavy Asian hair. I can no longer recommend Young. The problem isn't her haircuting expertise, but her anger management problem. On my most recent visit, she jostled me in her chair and threw a tantrum when I specified that I wanted my hair cut shorter. This angry woman bore no resemblance to her formerly cheerful self. read more

I've been getting my haircut here for about 2 years now and I've always been extremely satisfied with costumer service and the haircut!

I came in here asking for a 3 on the sides and a 1/4 inch off the top and came out with a inch and a half of the top keep in mind I have been growing my hair out for 6 months. And now I have close to no hair I recommend you be extremely specific with your hair cut or just don't come here as I will not be returning. read more
