Ramon was fantastic from start to finish -- when he arrived, he saw that the electronic lock we wanted to install wouldn't fit in our door, and even though he stood to make a lot of money off of us by doing the work needed to install it, he recommended that we keep our existing lock, saying that it was top-of-the-line and way more secure. My mom needed two locks changed and the gate re-keyed. We got quotes from other locksmiths, but they wanted to charge extra labor fees per hour (without an estimate of how much time is needed), a service fee for showing up, and another fee for placing a special order. I called around and found Ramon. He gave me a single quote with no hidden fees and kept me updated on the order. Our door is old and was a little troublesome, but Ramon spent extra time to make sure the locks were installed correctly. He is probably one of the most professional locksmiths I have ever met. When the lock on our back door broke I called YES and scheduled an appointment for the next day. It was a quick fix and they did an excellent job and even re-keyed the lock to match our front door so we could eliminate a key. BUT, right after they left we realized we had the lock keyed to the front door of the building, not our unit! Oops. We ran out and caught the locksmith and he came back and fixed our error and didn't even charge any extra for it. YES is our go-to locksmith now and we can't recommend them enough! read more

I, too, had a great experience with YES Locksmith and with George, the technician. 1) The estimated time of arrival was accurate and, as promised, George called from 10 minutes away. 2) My lock, which I had not used before, was stubborn, but George pulled out tools and sizes until it opened. As you can imagine it was very stressful to have a problem with my lock. Ramon came quickly and made the lock much better than even before it was broken. Arrived on time and also gave me a call 3 minutes prior to arrival. I was in my apartment in less than a minute since his arrival. The sad thing is I had my keys with me the whole time in the pocket of my jacket that I took off and I discovered this just when he opened the door. Today was unusually warm.
