Had high hopes but was surely disappointed. Previous polish not fully removed, new nail polish only partially covered nail, put lotion on and massaged with soap still on feet, when I asked for toes to be fully painted it was big production and utensils placed on ground near dryers, I explained to them that that is not hygienic. Also had two very young teens working there...one welcoming people and collecting payment. The second doing pedicures. We were a little bit disappointed about our experience here today. I came in with my mom for two pedicures early in the morning. Thankfully, we were seen right away and did not have to wait. However, the entire process was completely rushed. Our pedicures only took 20 minutes. The nail technicians were extremely rough as they rushed through our nails. It was actually painful when the technician pushed and cut my cuticles, and then painful again as she roughly brushed my feet with a plastic-bristled brush. I have never been hurt during a pedicure before so this was very unusual and disappointing. The edges of my nails were bleeding!! Then, as soon as we sat at the dryers for our nails to dry, the technician came over and asked for the money for the service. I asked if I could wait until we were leaving and she was very rude, demanding the money at that moment and couldn't wait. I gave her cash and a $6 tip for her and the other technician to split, which she was obviously annoyed by. To be honest, I should not have tipped at all with the way the pedicure went!!! My nails do look good, but I usually get pedicures to enjoy the relaxing process. Spend $5 extra and go anywhere else!! read more

Beware, not to get cut and infection! I see now that others have got the same experience! I told the owner who was working on me, not to use any cutting instruments on my skin. She was very rough while working, talking on the phone with clients, hurrying and constantly being distracted. She cut two of my fingers to bleeding with a drill filing machine. I asked for disinfectant immediately and was told to wait, until she's done. Should've gotten up but I waited in pain AND bleeding. Now I have an infection and it's been 4 days and not healing. I went back to tell her what happened and the lady started attacking me, screaming, telling that I was talking to people in her place and that's why I got the cuts!! She screamed embarrassingly in front of other clients, and told me to show my hands to them and to leave and not come back there. Incredible audacity! . .. I do not trust their hygiene either, seeing how they go client after client without any disinfecting! If I get a more serious infection I will have to contact the authorities. read more

They are super streaky, the tech could not stay within my nails and was straight up painting my skin, and the shaping was not at all what I asked for. They also didn't have any OPI or Essie colors I asked for and instead used a random brand that I've never heard of, which is probably what contributed to the streakiness. Although prices are reasonable, I'm going to end up paying double because I now need to go to another salon to fix my ridiculous looking nails. read more

This is the worst nail salon on the east coast. nails were jagged and rough. 2 of my nails ripped and had to go back to have it fixed. i waited an hour to have the gel soaked off while she did another pedicure. when she finally helped me, the owner was unable to find me the matching color. so if you notice in the picture, they are not matching because she did not help me find the right color. while fixing my nails, she buffed my skin so hard i started to bleed. then charged me 6 dollars even though it is uneven and not smooth. she used glue to fix the split that burned my skin. my cousin-who was with me the day before had a tech do her nails that has a thumb nail that is dried with blood and basically hanging off her finger. she used that nail to scrape off excess polish as she went. this place is dirty and quite possibly worst mani/pedi ever. i wish i could give this a negative star. read more

Awful experience. Had two 10am appointments. I didn't get someone until 10:25 (so i passed on my pedicure all altogether). My daughter had a brand new person who cut her nails so short you could see the red skin under her nail. I had to ask for someone else. They did a quick polish (no full blown pedicure) and charged $20 (same as the adult) and no design (as they normally do for kids). And no discussion of the exposed lower skin that I told them about. Place is run like a sh*t show. I've gone for 6 yrs and this was my last time. And Amanda, the owner, had ample opportunity to make it right and she ignored what she saw & charged full price for what ended up being a child's polish change. I went in with my friend to get a full set of acrylics (didn't have an appointment) and there was only three people doing mani's AND pedi's! There was four people waiting already but I wanted them done for vacation, so we waited for probably an hour. When it was finally my turn, the lady was so rushed that she cut my finger. Had a great experience today @ Yes nails.. my mother, niece and I went to have mani/pedis I also upper lip waxed.. I had made appointment but was free earlier than expected and they took the three of us earlier with no problem. Technician was great took her time with mani and pedi very detail oriented and great message with pedicure. The owner who did my mani/pedi was distracted with incoming clients and phone calls the entire session. I soon realized this experience was less than ideal. This nail salon is absolute crap. I am an Ocean City local and my mom never wants to leave the island so sometimes, I'm talked into going here with her. I always try to make her go over the bridge to Pinky's which has excellent service, but she's never having it. Came in here today we walk in the door to a packed out waiting area. We say we want two pedicures and she says " 5 - 10 minutes". She's obviously lying but, whatever, my mom wants to wait. So we wait about 45 minutes until our water in the pedicure tub goes cold. If it's going to be a wait that fine but don't bold face lie to us. Then she clipped my little toe so much it bled. Was a bit cautious because of the Yelp reviews were not terribly positive. We were so very pleasantly surprised! All three of us has a delightful experience. The staff was wonderful....friendly,polite, responsive, very competent. Two of us had both manis and pedis, one had just a mani. Three different nail techs helped us (one for each of us). Say NO to YES NAILS. my friend and I went in for a mani pedi. They were welcoming and the place seemed clean. However the manicurist didn't do our cuticles and my pedicure is peeling after one week. Also didn't seem to know how to use the toe spreader and it ruined my manicure which she re-did. We got the spa pedicure and massage was too soft. Asked her to put more pressure but wasn't good. My three friends and I were down for the week and decided to get our nails done on a Thursday at 4:30. We had four appointments for the new " dip powder " ( very popular trend) and tips for an extra $5. My three friends got their nails done by a women named Amanda. She was very quick and sharp, and their nails were done beautifully. I didn't know all that could get done so quickly. I, on the other hand, got my nails done by another woman whose name I don't know. My nails took double/triple times the time that their nails took , and I was the second one to go. My nails are the shape of boats and there is a space between my real nail and the fake one. She only glued down the beginning part of the tip, and their pointing straight up making the boat looking shape. If I ever go back in the future I will only go to Amanda. Her work was wonderful. I called the next day and spoke to Amanda and she offered to fix them free of charge. She fixed them beautifully. read more

There were lots of people here because it was raining. One women had her gel nails soaking off for an hour, ended up having to leave before she could even get her new manicure. When I was getting my gel manicure, a pedicure station over flowed because no one was paying attention. This then resulted in the manicurist skipping my top coat and then ARGUING with me about it when I pointed it out. Never got my top coat because she wouldn't put it on claiming she had already done it. Overall very bad service and sub par manicures. read more
