This salon was not the quality I was expecting. I walked in for an eyebrow wax, and a polish change (not a full pedicure). My eyebrows were done by who I believe was the owner, and she did an awful job. I still have long hairs under my eyebrow, so i know it's not because they were grown out. The one woman in there (older, black hair) was super sweet. I got my nails done by a woman that seemed to not know what she was doing. The woman across from me with the tattoos was super nice and did a great job on the other woman. I went to sit down to get my nails dried and I was there for about 5 minutes, used the bathroom and when i came back she told me I was good to leave. My nails were 100% not dry but she insisted they were. I left because I was uncomfortable, went home and they were completely ruined. $35 for undone eyebrows and nails that looked better before i walked in. i should of told her i needed more time, and that is on me for not speaking up, but who wants to go pay money to have to argue with the salon owner about drying time. mind you, there was no one else in there besides me and another woman. she was not rushing me because it was busy... read more

This is by far THE best pedicure me & my nieces EVER had in our entire lives. You have to come here! It was my niece's birthday and they sang happy birthday to her! And someone dropped off Fractured Prune donuts & they shared it with us. They really did an amazing job with the massage & knew the trigger points which is rare to find these days. This is the place to come if you want the latest and greatest available for nails. They have top notch equipment and I'm always happy with the end result. I can find any unique design on the internet and they will be able to replicate it. It's worth the trip to go outside of my neighborhood to come here. If you are considering DIY acrylics DON'T. If you have already done so and you are near this salon they will take care of the mess you have made and give you beautiful nails again! My manicure looks perfect and my nails were a total mess. She was also kind about it and didn't charge me extra for all the work she had to do to get all the acrylic off my nails. Walked in for a pedicure on a Monday afternoon. Here's the good, bad, and indifferent for me... The good: Overall, I think my nails look nice. The bad: 1. When she did my left foot, she pumiced the bottom of my foot and the side of my big toe - all good. But when she did my right foot, she completely skipped my big toe so I had to stop her and ask her to do it which makes me feel like an a**hole but I should get what I'm paying for, right? 2. Both of my big toes are red and raw where she pushed back my nail cuticle. I never had that happen before. 3. Most expensive place for a pedicure I saw along Asbury. I did not check out the prices at every salon though. I paid 25 and had seen places for 23 and 20. I picked this place for the good reviews so it's a little disappointing. I have tried every nail salon in ocean city and this is by far the best. I recently broke my wrist but needed to get my nails and toes done for a birthday party. I went on a Tuesday and I was treated like a queen. The 3 ladies fussed over me and treated my wrist with exceptional care. My one foot was also a challenge because I had a bruise from a callous and could not immerse it in the foot bath. No problem was too difficult to solve here. They took their time and did a great job. SO CLEAN!! My Mom and I stopped in for pedicures while on vacation and they did a fantastic job! My Mom is a manicurist, so it can be hard to find a place that's up to her standards. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and everyone was very friendly. I can't get over how clean this salon was. The women who took care of us did a great job and we were very pleased with the end product. We will be coming back again. I selected this place based on the yelp reviews. I went during the afternoon on a Monday, which was not a busy time. This place looks clean and they were friendly, but this is unfortunately where the compliments stop. My friend and I both asked for a pedicure. It was the quickest one I have ever received, which is not a good thing. I had to ask to have my nails cleaned up around the edges after there were dry because there was polish smudge all around. We both walked out pretty bummed and when I got home I realized only one of my heels was smooth. I wonder if they only give regulars good service? My 7 yr old daughter and I visited Oceanside during our trip to Ocean City. We both enjoyed our services. I had a pedicure for $25 and it was relaxing and like much more expensive pedicures I've received. My daughter had a manicure and pedicure for $25 also and they even put special decorations on her nails. We are both very happy with our services and will go back during future trips. While this salon is very clean and fairly big, I was disappointed with the service. Overall it was very rushed. I made an appointment for 930 am; however they were rushing for the next walk in. My pedicure barely paid attention to calluses and was completely rushed. I had a gel manicure in which they barely paid attention to cuticles and felt more like a polish change. I hate to write a bad review for a business I've frequented for many summers. However, I was there on 6/4/19 for a pedi and to remove gel from fingers. The woman doing the pedi didn't really seem to know the procedure. The worst was she cut me with clippers where it's deep and bled for awhile. She kept saying "sorry" which is good, and the manager (a woman) kept checking on it. They poured a purple liquid (called Skin Protector) on it. Still not sure what that was. Went home and washed it out with soap & water and applied neosporin. Also, the gel nailpolish was removed, but the nails were not cleaned up. I really expected more to be done for the removal. First time ever that I have not left a tip. Very disappointed in Oceanside as my experience in the past has been wonderful. I won't go back. I'll give SugarNails a chance. Or someone else. read more

Worst acrylic fill and pedicure ever! My acrylic fill was done on Monday August 20 around 3 P.M. and can be easily picked off. The acrylic is too thick and the polish is too thick too. It looks like a 10 year old painted my nails. The pedicure was so short that I closed my eyes and the girl was gone and paint had been slapped on my toes. My sister and I were excited to try this place after seeing the good reviews. We arrived about 15 minutes after the store opened and were greeted to a dark shop with a "closed" sign in the window. Seeing people inside, we thought maybe the sign was inadvertently left in the window and we ventured in. The man inside looked at us like we were insane, asked what we wanted and proceeded to tell us that they had no time for anything... In their empty shop. Cuticle scissors and toe cutter was taken from the drawer without being in sterile wrap plus was put back in drawer after use. File was old plus files used on bottom of my feet were used on other people. Will not return here read more
