Adding here too, Yessica!! It is especially annoying since I have been a loyal customer for years who has brought in so many fellow women -- multiple friends, my sister in law, etc. always recommended it on mom groups! Always tip generously + usually never come by myself. Me and my best friend were so excited that our girls who are five are old enough to join us for pedicures as it is a special mommy and daughter time. I called to make sure they would be happy to accommodate and they said yes. This was probably the third or fourth time we have come with our littles -- who mind you behave AND pay full price on top of our services just about monthly. Each time I call ahead and make an appointment with the owner herself as well as give a heads up we have the girls. This is the second time we got a bad attitude only from the owner for no apparent reason other than that we have our paying children with us. The first time I excused her behavior assuming it was because our appointment was close to closing (also a weird reason to be annoyed if you okay an appointment). we come back with our girls again today after the owner checked and confirmed our appointment for 4. They had 3 of us sitting getting services for truly 30 minutes while my 5 year old waited. She did this to her friend last time. During those 30 mins neither time did she acknowledge the fact that our 5 year olds were waiting. No apology for the wait, nothing. Same thing today! She then did my daughter's pedicure in a third amount of the time her friends took. She had my daughter waiting while she took her time cleaning etc while her friend started her manicure. She sat for 15 minutes waiting before the owner finally acknowledged my daughter waiting and told HER (a five your old instead of the paying adult) that her friends was almost done so her lady would do her nails next. They were NOT almost done and my daughter already spent a total of 45!!!! Minutes waiting through out this time with no communication. Mind you it wasn't busy but then someone came in and the owner immediately prioritized another customer? When I asked her if she could just do my daughter's manicure first because she was waiting for so long already she argued back that this woman made a appointment in the morning and I pointed out that we also made appointments. The entire time the owner was not only unapologetic but also saying "oh my God" and rolling her eyes when she begrudgingly Finished my daughter's nails in 5 mins (while her friend's was still not done and she started way earlier!!!) and when I paid and questioned the fact that I was getting charged full price for her crappy experience. So yes, she charged me full price for an experience that my child spent way more time waiting around for than getting the service. Her employees are lovely though. But there are way too many other places around to tolerate this behavior. I hope her old worker Bridget went to a better place -- let me know where Bridget is someone I even took time to recommend yessicas to a big mom Instagram putting a spot light on businesses that is kid friendly self care without but they've definitely proven that super wrong. I asked for a short square full acrylic set. I bit my nails off the day prior from anxiety and so I had to get a full set of acrylics. They look really nice and the damaged cuticles are my doing lol. She spends time shaping and filing and closely examines my nails after she finishes. She also takes appointments, actually writes them down and is always ready for me when I come in. Very bad experience! The manager let me in without appoiment, and then gave the order to the girl who was attenting me to let me unfinished for someone else that walked in with appoiment. In my opinion if they are running in short personnel never ever would have let me in and start the service just to let me unfinished when someone else walked in with appointment. I never write reviews, but this was the most horrific experience I have ever had getting my nails done. I came in today for the first time do SNS powder and was extremely disappointed with the service and the professionalism of the salon. I asked for a french coffin set and even showed the picture of what I wanted, but received something completely different. When I spoke to the manager about the result, I was told to pay $15 for the removal of the nails plus an extra $55 for a new set if I wanted to "fix them". I had already paid $63 total for this set and was outraged by the owners' response. I didn't even receive an apology or even a discount for their mistake. These people seem to care more about stealing their customers' money than keeping their clients happy. I am never coming back here again and do not recommend anyone to get their nails done at this place. read more

I came here on Saturday as an emergency and the service was great. Claudia took care of my pedicure and was very nice. She has a mask on as did I per covid procedures. If I could've given this place a minus star I would. I went into Yessica's for a pedicure. I was sent to this girl, who couldn't speak English nor did she know what she was doing. The owner and another technician kept translating what I requested from her. Finally thought she was finished and I said..."You need to go over certain areas". Of course she didn't understand. The owner said she needed to use another tool, however, it would be $12.00 more. She said..."The girl, who was doing my pedicure, didn't know how to use the tool. She said I would have to wait for this girl Deb to complete the job. Deb did not do anything and this girl continued. I called and expressed how unhappy I was. I was told to come in. The owner wasn't there, but the girl, behind the desk called her. I told her I paid $40.00 for a pedicure and it was a terrible job. I am requesting the pedicure be repeated. She was very nasty...She said...No... to repeating the pedicure and almost had me in tears because she was so nasty. She finally agreed to refund my money. Nobody should be treated this way and the owner should get experienced techs....Who ever heard of paying $40.00 for a pedicure...Awful place... Just terribly. Don't go there.. Horrible read more

I've given this salon a try a few times now and have really wanted to like it as it is a perfect in between meeting place for a friend and I. The salon is clean and staff is friendly, we have never had to wait. But each time we have left with sore and bleeding cuticles. Last time my friend and I both got the same pedicure yet she got paraffin wax for her heels and a short shoulder massage at the end, and I did not (paying the same amount). My nails were also done quite sloppy leaving me feeling like I could have done the same thing at home without the painful cuticles. I think this will be our last trip to Yessicas. read more

I came here because my old nail salon that was located next to it closed down and, while I'm sad to see my old nail salon closed, I'm glad I came to Yessicas! This salon was very clean/modern and the staff were all professional, patient, and kind. They had a wide range of colors to chose in both gel and regular polish. The prices at this salon are very fair and I love that they offer package deals on services. There was a sign saying normal prices start in a few days though, which makes me weary. The service I received today was a gel manicure. It was wonderful, but the only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that one of my nails isn't completely smooth and has a small bubble under the polish. I am worried this is going to cause a chip or have my nail pull off. Regardless of my miniscule nail bubble, I would recommend Yessicas and I do plan on coming again. I stopped in the other day for a gel manicure here for the first time and it will definitely be my last! I usually don't write bad reviews but this woman was cutting up my cuticles and the sides of my nails for dead skin and my cuticles were bloody and around my nails were red and inflamed! not only that... one nail she tore off so much "dead" skin there is a gash in the crease of my nail and skin and it hurts like hell and it still does and I got it done the beginning of the week and it's still very red. Very cute salon. It's clean and has some very friendly staff. The owner is very sweet and tries to make sure you have a good experience. The last two times, my nail technician cut my toe nails a bit oddly... I tried to give her some direction but she didn't seem to get it. They all speak Spanish which is SO nice. I have been a semi regular to Yessica's and have sent many people to this salon. Until my last visit I was very happy but no longer the case. I made an appointment because I had a very busy day and had to be out at a certain time. My pedicure began 40 minutes late. I had a gel pink and white service which was $40.00 the last time I had one. When I checked out the tech who did my pedi asked the owner the price and was told $50.00. I did question it and said my friend and I paid 40 and 45 for our last gel pedis. No response! I also checked the price menu but there was no listed fee for a gel pedi. I would like to say the nail tech did a very nice job which took about 35 minutes. I will NEVER return to the salon or refer people there in the future. read more

WORST MANI-PEDI in my life!!!!!!!! I came here on my birthday last week with my friend as a treat. I only get about 2-3 pedicures every year. I paid for a mani-pedi for myself and a pedicure for her. They gave her a decent pedicure right away and treated her very nicely while I waited for 35min with my feet in cold water. When they finally got to me they gave me a single coat of polish on my hands and feet. My hands and feet both started chipping within a couple days!!! I literally paid these women to pamper me and they treated me like shit. 100% regret wasting money on this place. Received a mani/pedi for $28. The salon is extremely clean and fresh. The women who gave me the pedi took her time and was gentle. She really was awesome and since this visit I have been back several times. The place is always crowded/has customers seated. It's just that good :) If your looking for a basic quick pick me up, this is the place to go. Absolutely horrible. My mother and I went today for a pedicure. We both wanted a standard pedicure. Needless to say she got hot oil on her heels, I didn't. I got the hot stone and she didn't. She only has one coat of nail polish while I received two. I asked why and apparently you only get what you need. My mother who goes way more often for pedicures than I do gets the oil treatment where as I haven't had a pedicure since September and I don't need it? When I asked we played Rosetta Stone for a half hour before they said to send my mom back for a second coat of polish??? Ghetto place and will not be back. I could place my feet in blue water and cut my own nails and paint them and save $25. read more

Love Yessicas, clean friendly staff. Appointments are probably best as there is usually a wait. Never disappointed and my gel polish stays for 4 weeks usually ! They have a rewards program as well that you get a stamp with each visit would be better if each service as I stack services in a visit but it is what it is never disappointed with my nails when I leave here. read more

Awful experience. The woman cut up four of my fingers with the file and cuticle cutter to the point of bleeding. Definitely won't be going back. I also never see them sanitize anything. The tools get pulled right out of the drawer and they rub some acetone on them. Hopefully I don't get an infection. read more
