    Beef empanada
    Kasee A.

This bakery is a little gem! The establishment is clean and well laid out. The staff is very friendly- I had the beef empanada and Cuban coffee, SOooooo good! The beef had an amazing flavor, no grease... you can tell this was made with love. If you like Cuban found and baked goods, this should be the place you stop!!! YUMmmm!!

I had a Pan con bistec (steak sandwich) sorry way too hungry to wait for the pic lol but the portions are huge and the flavor was amazing

The service was great but the food was even better everything was made to my specifications just absolutely fresh and delicious

Where's the meat on this "Cuban sandwich"???

So I'm not completely understanding how a few reviewers on Google stated this was the best Cuban sandwich they've ever had. Really? Hmmm. It seems I may have ordered on an off day because as you can see from my photos, 1 piece of ham and 1 1/2 pieces of pork don't exactly constitute as the "best Cuban I've ever had." The bread was very good I'll give it that. But where's the meat?!? Where is the nicely seasoned chunks of pernil? Low quality meat in my opinion. Rice pudding had way too much cinnamon on top of it. Felt like i was struggling through a cinnamon challenge. For those that don't know what that is, look it up on YouTube. Guava pastries were decent but nothing to rave about. Prices are low but that reflects the low quality. Again... my opinion. Pastries and prices gave it the 2 stars. I don't think my family and I will be back.

We went for lunch, and pick up desserts for later. When we got there it was a little busy, so we just admired the displays of all the great desserts and cakes. They even have seasonal items to try. We finally made our choices of the sandwiches. We got the classic Croqueta Preparada this is a classic Cuban Sandwich with a twist of adding the croqueta's in between. We also got the Pan Con Lechon the Pork Sandwich. Both were good. The bread was so soft and delicious. We pick up a variety of desserts to take home. We really love the variety. We will definitely be stopping back to try some different types.

As soon as you walk in, you will see the big dessert display counter filled with desserts, pastelitos and baked goods. We have tried a few of their sandwiches and desserts. Sandwiches were savory and pressed to perfection. The Cuban French toast seems to be interesting so I gave it a try. It was soaked in syrup and a little too sweet to my taste. But I will come back to try the other baked goods.

It has been many years since we went there The service was excellent and we ordered the frittatas, Dave had the Sombrero Frittata with potato salad and the sour dough bread. I had the Nordic Smoked Salmon Frittata with potato salad and sour dough bread too. Both frittatas were cooked perfectly with veggies and herbs. I had black coffee too. It was one of the nicest breakfasts that we had in a long time. The price was quite high $56 with a tip. The quality and the service were worth it!

I used to come to this restaurant years ago and would rave about the food, so this experience was really disappointing. I do want to say the service was very good, our waitress was very sweet and attentive, and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the service. However, both my meal and my husband's meal were awful, especially for the price we paid. The quality just was not worth it. Maybe it was just the two meals we ordered, I'm not sure, but if this had been my first time visiting, I would never return. I much prefer writing positive reviews over negative ones, but I felt people should know about our experience. Sadly, after this visit, we will not be coming back.
