Pretty nice ambiance but Cafe latte is like drinking hot water, no taste of fresh espresso.

I'm only in town a couple times a year and I don't always make it to the downtown area. During our most recent visit, we stayed at an Airbnb nearby and I finally got to visit Shift (YAY!)... What a great local coffee shop! The inside is cute & minimal and I loved the mural spanning the space. The staff was super friendly as we perused the menu, and my decision was easy once I saw that they have a seasonal fall menu featuring house made syrups. The carrot cake one immediately caught my eye, and I ordered a carrot cake latte. My husband got the classic pumpkin spice and yep, it was like drinking fall in a cup. It's so cool to see a gem like this reppin' the hometown. Also cool that they brew Bandit Coffee (out of St. Pete) which we are big fans of. Wishing them continued success and I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in the area!

That is not a taste that I have any interest in developing as I would rather eat grass mixed with seaweed than sip on Matcha. Getting that out of the way, on a trip to Ft. Meyers, a request for Matcha was made and sure enough we spent the early morning yelping for Matcha and found this place. It looks fairly new and is part of an apartment t complex. The place is small, and sure enough the clientele fitted the Matcha seekers that have popped up in all urban areas. There were Lululemon' on display, women with tiny dogs, bodies that should all be on the cover of magazines and foreign cars in the parking lot. My daughter got her Matcha which set her on a high energy mood and excited for the rest of the day, so atleast I got something out of it. I did not want to be seen anywhere near a Matcha place so had my dark glasses on, a cap and stayed close to the entrance. My daughter did order me a chocolate chip cookie to make up for my misery and In all fairness it was really good. My daughter raved about her Matcha hence the 4 stars. So if you are craving Matcha, carry a small dog and fit in Lululemon clothing you have found your match!!

Myers as it seems mostly set-up for the convenience of guests, but there's no reason you can't come enjoy. Service was okay - nothing exceptional. Seating is pretty much the lobby seating in the hotel, which is comfortable. This is more of a grab and go location. Drinks and snacks are good with several options. Prices r similar to any other coffee place. Since this is part of the lobby of the Luminary, this coffee shop includes various specialty food items (can be good gift if you want to send someone items representative of SWFL or if someone wants to take home a little flavor of the area), candies and plush toys. Beware if you're going there with a little one- the plushies r really soft and cute. U might end up having to buy one.

Not just okay, but the kind of coffee that gives you the boost you need to get through the day. And if you plan to stay, the space matters just as much. It should feel welcoming and comfortable, with enough room to work, meet, catch up, or simply slow down for a while. What makes the story of Chocolattés even more meaningful is where it began. In 2003, Chocolattés opened inside HealthPark Medical Center, a place where most people probably don't wish to spend their day. Yet, one cup of coffee at a time, they found a way to uplift visitors, staff, and families during some of life's more difficult moments. Over the next 12 years, Chocolattés expanded to all four major hospitals, bringing that same experience to even more people. Today, with two locations in Southwest Florida, that story has evolved into something you can enjoy outside the hospital walls. And the coffee? This is craft coffee in every sense of the word. Their beans are roasted in-house, and there is almost a science behind how they create each cup. You can tell there is intention behind what they serve. The prices are definitely on the higher end, but I think Chocolattés is one of those places where you can justify it whether you're treating yourself to a really good cup of coffee or need something a little extra to get you through a long day at work. Our go-to orders? For Ariel, it's the Shaken Gorilla Vanilla Iced Espresso with banana, caramel, and vanilla For Hailey, it's Sea Turtle Mocha Latte chocolate, caramel, hazelnut & sea salt sprinkles.

I always try a Mocha at a new spot - the taste did not disappoint! Really delicious and well made, I have a few "special order asks", oat milk, half sweet, etc. And the barista did well. 4/5 due to price. I paid nearly $11 for a mocha that I pay $5 at Dean's, within the Luminary downtown (which is organic coffee) and even Starbucks is $8 something. Too pricey for local coffee when there is lots of new competition out there!

My curiosity won, and I had to turn around to check it out. I was immediately welcomed with a warm smile from the owner, Tessa. She and her team have only been open for six days, but they're already creating a space that feels inviting, friendly, and full of delicious possibilities. I've recently fallen in love with Pumpkin Chai Lattes, and Coffee Rush absolutely delivered. Every sip was perfection! I also wanted to try one of their Red Bull drinks and asked for a surprise flavor. Tessa told me they love when customers request "surprise me" drinks as it gives them a chance to get creative. They offer both iced and blended Red Bull options, and mine was a blended mix of raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, and strawberry. It was the perfect berry combination and paired perfectly with the Red Bull flavor. What really impressed me was how Tessa and her staff took the time to get to know me, what I enjoy at other coffee shops, what flavors I prefer and even recommended a drink for my next visit. Their genuine kindness and eagerness to connect make the experience feel personal and special. I'll absolutely be back, and I'll gladly recommend Coffee Rush to anyone looking for great drinks, friendly faces, and a place that feels like a new favorite waiting to happen!
