We just stopped in for lunch on this Saturday afternoon on the way to Tulsa and what a fantastic spot. Very friendly and quick service. We got a chef salad and a cheese burger with homemade chips/fries. Both were extremely good. We were really impressed with the property. We used to be regulars, then new ownership, and it started going downhill. We thought we would try it one more time today. I think the health department needs to go into this restaurant. The food was cold and burned, not just over cooked, burned black hamburger. The bun felt like it came out of a refrigerator. The cheese was ice cold and not melted. The hush puppies were black. The French fries weren't French fries and were cooked so hard, they were thick burned chips. The table was sticky, tried another, and it was the same. We should have left when we walked in and saw all the dirt. When I asked the server if he thought the black hamburger he brought was burned, he asked how it tasted. You couldn't bite it to taste it. We asked for separate checks and he couldn't do that after he said he could. Horrible food and service. read more

Yesterday's is good for what it is! Don't expect fine dining or a quiet environment. The food selection is great and the prices are reasonable. There is a full service bar and live music sometimes on the patio. We had great service and enjoyed our meal. I will be back. read more

Not a good experience the last couple visits. Pork chop tasted like it was cooked in the microwave. Sweet potato was baked to nothing. Ruben sandwich bread was so soggy you couldn't eat it. Fried mushrooms like rubber. Queso and salsa didn't come with salsa. Way too expensive for the quality of food served. Hate it but I would not recommend. read more

I have been a customer here for over 20hrs and the last few visits have been progressively worse. Last night 5 of us went for dinner we arrived just after 6 and were seated at a table for 4 which we could make it work. They were very busy and our waiter came over and said it would be right with us. 20 minute later he comes back took our drink. He got 3 of the 5 right.We ordered onion rings as an app, got them 30 minutes later. Meantime we had placed our food orders and it took 2 hrs to get our food. 3 of the 5 again incorrect. Before that the owner had come by with a baby on her hip and asked if all was good, we told her no we had been waiting 2 hrs. She said she would k on it and get the food right out and proceeded to go to the bar and chat with other people for 15 minutes, never went to the kitchen. She later along with the waiter brought our food, one person had ordered catfish she gave him his "chicken fingers" totally wrong and wrong sides on 2 others. She said to guy who ordered fish and got chicken "well I guess you eat for free" of course the fingers were on the bill when we got it and we had them taken off. This is indicative of the attitude the last few times of take or leave it. After all these years not going and neither is anyone else in the group. read more

This was my second visit. I can't remember what I had the first time, but I remember being surprised by the quality of service and the food. The second time did not disappoint. It was Friday around noon and, not surprisingly, the parking lot was full. It was a lovely warm day, but we had the patio to ourselves. We were quickly greeted and our drinks served as we decided what to order. I'm not going to complain about the wine pour: let's just say I got my more than my money's worth. The food came out fast! I ordered the catfish with corn on the cob and asparagus. The catfish was perfectly fried with a delightfully light but crispy batter, house-made tartar sauce, lemon wedges, and raw onion. Asparagus is one of my favorite vegetables, but it's rare to see it on a menu and even rarer for it to be properly cooked. It was divine. The corn was also well seasoned and not just an afterthought. The view from the patio isn't all that, but we did watch a hawk flying among the trees that flank the back parking lot. It's spacious, and I imagine a nice place to sit when the central fire place is going. Yesterday's will continue to be our go-to when we're traveling to our property in north-central Arkansas. read more

I ordered Philly cheesesteak Sandwich. There was about half the filling that it. should have. The sandwich was barely warm. One piece of meat was actually cold. The onion rings were also not hot and had almost a sweetness to the batter. The waitress was good. But I did have to find her to take signed receipts , didn't feel comfortable leaving on table for anyone to see. read more

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I sat outside with my dog on the patio and was not greeted at all from the lady working the other two tables. She walked by about five times and never said a word to me. I even called to let them know I was outside to then still not be greeted by the waitress. In total, it was about 30 mins of not being greeted by her. Found this hidden gem last night. I had the chicken fried steak and my wife had the Cajun Pasta. Everything was great and our server was super nice and as good as it gets. We had the fried pickles and fried green beans, both were very good. I highly recommend giving this one a try. BTW, the beer comes in frozen mugs!!! read more

The service was amazing. We came for a late lunch. We ordered sandwiches and onion rings. There was so much bacon on my BLT I could only eat half. The onion rings were great cooked correctly. Relaxed atmosphere and a large selection of beer and cocktails if you want the option. read more

The club sandwich was great. But today i ordered a cheese burger, thinking it would be good too. Um, not so much. A few small changes could have made it much, much better. Please don't overcook the burger. It makes it super dry and you lose so much flavor that way. Also, please, please butter and toast the bun on the flat top. It makes a huge difference. read more

What a super choice for lunch! Service was on point, cheeseburger was cooked to a perfect med rare with a toasted bun, fries to die for, and (most important), an icy cold beer. I have been coming to Yesterday's for more than 20 years. There is new ownership and the quality has steadily declined since the switch. Service is great, food not so much. alcohol is ok but the mixed drinks are nothing to write home about and the only draft beer available is made at the owner's brewery across town. It seems like most of the food comes off the Sysco truck frozen and then (poorly) reheated in the kitchen. There are some highlights: the fried catfish platter and spaghetti night (Thursday's) are fan favorites. The club sandwich and chicken quesadilla are also good. The menu had several Italian food items. However, I went with the pulled pork and sweet potato fries. The pulled pork was a small-medium portion of meat with two fat chunks I couldn't eat. The sweet potato fries were slightly crispy and came with a maple syrup dipping sauce. read more

Aside from how good the food is where you go to eat I have always thought the staff makes up 90% of the establishment. Yesterday's is great with both. Had the ribeye and it was excellent. This place made me miserable. I walked in, the waitress was yelling at people that were like a hundred years old for getting a salad bar when their dinner didn't include it. The waitress was MIA constantly. The prices are ridiculous for a diner. The menu has no salad options and is very limited. You can't really substitute anything. The salad bar is sad. Server was great. Don't order a steak unless you want it rare, they don't cook them any other way apparently. Twice they attempted a medium steak, and it was rare both times.
