This was my first time inside the store after passing it several times. I was quickly greeted by a worker that was beyond helpful. I originally went in wanting to purchase the Tundra haul wheeled cooler and left with the roadie 48 cooler. The roadie is a new product but seems so much more fitting with it's small compact size and easy to roll wheels. What sold me is that the roadie can store wine bottles which is important! The tundra I most definitely would have had to lay down my wine bottles. The worker was beyond informative and did not once pressure me to pick instead he gave me helpful advice about both coolers. This is now my go to store to purchase coolers etc. I used to purchase my yeti products at academy but no longer will now that this location is here! read more

After working for REI multiple years, it's refreshing to see a space just dedicated fo quality gear built for quality people. Joe, in particular was so patient and had a best listening ear to both answer questions and to share stories of what gear would be best suited for specific situations. If you love the YETI brand, you will be obsessed with this store! My hubby wanted a YETI cooler for his birthday and instead of shopping online and guessing which one he wanted, I decided to surprise him with a visit to their store. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the staff and they explained all the different types of coolers. I was so surprised by how many sizes and colors they had. It definitely made a huge difference to see them in person instead of online. Also, another great advantage of shopping in person was the military discount (I believe it was 20% off). They don't have a lot of sales at the store, so definitely don't come in expecting a bargain. However it is really nice to talk to people who specialize in the product and can explain their features better. read more

Yeti! This place sells some tough, long lasting, chillin' coolers. These things are built like tanks, and can keep ice in the South Texas heat for days on days, in the hottest of summers. These coolers are meant for people who take their recreation seriously, and are probably out doing stuff with these coolers for days- they're heavy, heavy duty coolers! They also sell all the other accessories, cups, dog bowls, thermoses, tumblers, lids and so on. The staff was helpful and made sure that all my questions were answered. They do a lot of online sales, and it seems this is a place to pick up things. These are similar to the Kodi products HEB sells, but these are a bit more expensive. The lids are compatible. I heard a story about a friend of a friend that had Bill Millers tea in his Yeti cup in his truck's cup holder. On a long drive, the truck caught fire, burning up in the flames. However, when the fire was extinguished, the Yeti cup still had ice in it. This store is in La Cantera mall, so parking can be a bit challenging. This store isn't as cool as their Austin location on South Congress. That one has a stage and serves up beers and sometimes has BBQ on site. Gah! read more

I went into the Yeti store at La Cantera in San Antonio, on Friday, May 23 at approximately 6:00 PM. I usually frequent this store to purchase a variety of items to include coolers, coffee mugs, tumblers and many other products. Today I kept things simple and picked up a small orange tumbler from one of the front displays. I looked under the tumbler to find a price tag of $20.00 for the item. I looked around briefly for more items and proceeded to the checkout area for purchase. I was greeted warmly but was surprised at the price difference of approximately $27 for the item. I asked the lady at the register that it seemed high for an item that was marked at $20.00. She said that it was ringing up for $25 and went to go check with the MOD on the price. The MOD during this time was either Sam or Bianca, sorry for not getting the correct MOD but nonetheless I was shocked at both the unprofessional and aggressive manner of the MOD. She said that the price was $25.00 and it was human error that it was marked at $20.00. I told her that it wasn't my fault and that the price should be honored. I felt it wasn't too much of a stretch on Yeti's part to work with me since the price difference was not too variable. She said no but her tone was very insincere and somewhat aggressive. I indicated to the MOD that it wasn't my fault that the item was not priced correctly. I figured having a competent process or MOD to oversee operations would catch mistakes like this. Very disappointing experience and something that I felt should have been honored because the store was even advertising 20% to 25% off of certain store items. She said that the computer will not allow them to change the price which doesn't sound correct because we are in 2025 and this sounds like a good excuse for the 1980's. To add injury to insult you all are advertising in the front, that there is a 20-25% discount going on. This MOD's actions will cost you all a customer that not only frequents the store but has remained loyal to your brand despite the many competitors that you have. You MOD on this day conducted herself in a disappointing manner and this error in pricing and you MOD's unprofessional resolve did not help me feel valued or respected despite my frequent purchasing of items. The wrong pricing was not my fault but working with me on the listed price would have gone a long way. Today Yeti failed to value me as a customer and for that will lose my loyalty based solely on Sam or Biancas actions. read more
