The only redeeming aspect of my experience at this restaurant was the service. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Unfortunately, the food was YUCK. We got an antipasto salad, which was boring, lacking, and looked like it had been thrown together in 30 seconds. We ordered two large pizzas. One was the buffalo chicken, which has blue cheese, and this cheese was SUPER blue. Actually, it was more like green. Way to pungent for pizza. My sister and mother couldn't even eat it. The other pizza was a regular red sauce, with pepperoni and bacon. Boring, bland, and weird. They put the cheese under the sauce, which made for a really awkward pizza, and the flavor was not right. Whatever you do, please don't order here. Me and my boyfriend decided to order takeout at a new pizza place for once so we called yettys. We ordered 3 pounds of wings. (They go by pound) parm garlic, plain with hot sauce on side and barbecue for delivery and they took about an hour for the food to get here. Once the food came, they forgot our hot sauce and the wings so we had to wait ANOTHER 15 minutes for them to come back with the hot sauce. The wings weren't warm at all they were actually very cold. The wings were completely dry and there was barley any meat on it. Oh and they don't give you blue cheese or ranch you have to order that yourself which is extra. Overall the wings were pretty terrible but they were cheap but they're cheap for a reason. The price is terrible for the wings because the wings were not good at all.... Rude staff also read more

We are on vacation and we wanted a pizza so we looked at yelp for some reviews on some local pizza places. I've got to tell you this place makes the BEST pizza we have ever had. We had a large with meat balls, black olives, extra cheese and they loaded on the cheese. There crust is awesome, thick and no grease on the bottom like with others we've had. Great pizza by the slice & really great fries. I love that they have deep fried pickle chips(!) on the appetizer menu - I hadn't had those in more than a decade but only because I've not seen them on a menu since then. The restaurant is clean, I like the entrance and the full bar is definitely inviting. This restaurant has a 'town favorite' kind of feel as you look around and notice the worn floors, the digital photo frame, the advertisement placemats and dim lighting with added neon lights and the genuinely friendly servers who will chat with you like old pals while tending thoughtfully to your needs. I ordered the deep fried pickle chips as an appetizer, which were exactly what I was expecting, and I loved them with the obviously homemade sauce they were served with. For my main meal I ordered the chili burger basket and my lunch date ordered a slice with pepperoni and a pound of wings. I wouldn't order the chili burger basket again, but I would try every burger they had just to get the 'fries with that'. They are so good: crispy, crunchy, soft in the middle and golden golden brown. I tried a bite (or 4) of my date's pizza and loved it for it's cheezy gooiness, soft firm dough, great pepperoni, extra sauce and delicious garlic flavor. I'm a garlic head though. I can't speak for the wings myself, but my date thought they were adequate. Overall, I will definitely give Yetty's another try, I look forward to it in fact if for no other reason than the cleanliness, friendly staff and comfy feel. read more

I like Yettys because the food is amazing. I recommend Yettys because their creamy western wings are the best wings you will ever eat. Ordered lasagna with sauage and meatballs for pick up. The guy on the phone tells me it will be $17.82. After I got off the floor I thought well this should be good. If anyone See's my name on the wall in YETTY'S PIZZA, this is why. I called Felicia Netti out about a four dollar delivery fee that she keeps and does not give to the delivery driver's. This causes me to have to tip another $5.00 on top of this fake fee because I feel anyone bringing my food should be paid for that service. After all they are using their personal vehicle and gas. (Also I only live two blocks away). I felt this was an outragous thing to be doing. Anyone who has ordered take out there knows what I am talking about with this "delivery fee of $4.00. Just wanted everyone to know that Felicia is being vindictive by putting my name in bold letters and why she's doing it. I believe everyone has the right to display what they want but I also wanted everyone to know exactly why she's doing this. Hopefully she takes it down. If not I will merely post daily about this. Horrible. Service was bad. 3 tables including us on a Friday night and took 40 mins to get a sandwich and a order of rigatoni. My girlfriend and I had a very bad experience here. We waited for 45 minutes before they served the appetizer (dried out wings). They forgot to bring the bread, salad. How do you forget the bread in an Italian restaurant? When my girlfriend finally got her burger, which she ordered medium, it was dried out and burnt so bad we had to send it back. She asked for mayo with it, they forgot that as well. It took so long for the other burger, I gave her half of my meal and cancelled the order. We go to get our bill and they still didn't bring the salad yet, matter of fact we never got the salad. I doubt we will ever go there again. Dried out food and extremely poor service. We just wanted a quiet, uneventful night out, turned into a frustrating experience. I left no tip which I never do but felt warranted in this case. read more

I cannot begin to explain how horrible this place is. EVERYONE has attitude, but most especially the owner. SHE IS HORRIBLE and I cannot remember her name. I only know she's the owner because she runs out of the kitchen to yell and scream at people, and repeatedly says "I'm the owner!" anytime anything goes wrong. The servers were all pleasant, but extremely slow, and they all blamed it on the kitchen. The kitchen was SLOW! I actually believe it was the kitchen, because I overheard the same mantra being said to other patrons repeatedly, not just me. But that owner??? There's something seriously wrong w/ her to act up like that in front of customers. She's just off. Also? The food is so sub-par. It wasn't terrible, but it isn't good. read more

My wife and I travel up to Herkimer occasionally for the diamond mines. Whenever we go up we also make a stop at Yetty's for one of our meals. The pizza is a unique upside down style pizza that we can't really get anywhere where we live so it's always fun to go when we are in town. This past weekend we went and got a large cheese pizza and an order of chicken/broccoli Alfredo. The pizza was good as always and even eating it cold the next day it was very tasty. You can really taste the different flavors and spices in their sauce. Very good and unique pizza. The chicken/broccoli Alfredo was also very good. The chicken was grilled very well and had excellent flavor. The Alfredo sauce was also very good and one of the better Ones I have had. Also to my surprise the Alfredo came with salad and garlic bread, which was a really nice surprise and great value. Yetty's is great authentic old school Italian food with some unique twists. My wife and I will surely be back the next time we visit Herkimer. read more

Ordered the fried clams, they were inedible, all 4 of us in our party tried them and agreed, tough and chewy, couldn't eat them. Told the waitress, was charged full price for them anyway. Someone else ordered a calzone, it took one hour, everyone else was done eating before it finally arrived. also charged full price for that. I called for a to-go order yesterday because I was driving over an hour for their delicious food. I have been there once before and had impeccable food and service. When I walked in the door, not a single employee acknowledged me even though I was standing within 2 feet of someone. A server was cleaning up some dishes, which was completely fine, but went back and forth past me 4 times, obviously avoiding eye contact with me, once coming out of the kitchen popping some food into her mouth, without saying "I'll be right with you" or "Someone will be out to help in a minute." Finally the checkout server came to the register to cash me out, and she was lovely. I ordered a few things but my mozzarella sticks didn't come with marinara sauce (maybe an oversight) and I didn't receive any napkins or plastic ware in my to-go bags. When I got home, I couldn't find my wallet so I called the restaurant to see if I had left it there, and a woman answered and said she would look and then hung up. I didn't think they had my number to call me back so I called back a few minutes later and they said they hadn't had a chance to look yet which was fine, and that they would call me back using caller ID. I never got a call back. The service was just very disappointing and I know they could do better for their customers. read more

My children arrived in from Las Vegas and we all went to eat out and locally. We chose Yettys. The calzones were very very good. However, I ordered the Long Hots dinner and was disappointed. Not that tasty at all and with hard, bland sausage filling. Service was pleasant and prompt. All in all we had a good time. I just wont order the Long Hots ever again though. read more

Was a die hard fan before the bar was installed. Always served good food at a fair price, last night was the first visit in a while. Food was not good, pasta had been not just over cooked but then food again nearly mush. Salads were made from low quality lettuce, the dressing didn't improve it. Now to the pests everyone had to keep,the flies off their food, but there were house flies, fruit flies, bot flies ( the green ones) and fungus gnats. Absolutely the worst place I've ever dealt with for many reasons! But, for starters their communication is terrible and "management" is horrible! I put management in quotations because I spoke with four different people while trying to plan a party and three of the four claimed to be managers and according to the owner, they weren't! On top of that, the first one I spoke with two months before the party and hetold me the total for our party was $200. A month later I called back to confirm, the second person confirmed! We called once more, a week before and they said they didn't have anything even written in the book. Finally after everything I finally got ahold of the manager, and she was beyond rude to me for a mistake that was her employees fault! We ended up paying almost $400 for a party that was quoted at $200 and we got less food. Not to mention the upstairs was FILTHY, the bathroom toilet was broke and we had to get our own soap because they didn't have any. We had salad and pasta, the salad was great, the pasta was absolutely disgusting and half cooked! Our waiter was the only good thing about this place! We will never order or go there again! read more
