I decided to give another go of it and booked with SOFIA. Sofia is amazing! I always get compliments for my nails; Sofia does not miss a beat. Danny does my pedicure and he is amazing as well. Everyone is really nice and friendly. The staff is professional and the price is reasonable. I have been to nail salons all over and appreciate the location of this nail salon in my neighborhood. Unfortunately, that's where the convenience ended. We arrived on time for our 11:45 AM appointment for a pedicure and Gel-X full set. My daughter was taken right away for her pedicure, which took about 25 minutes. After that, she was told to sit and wait for her nail appointment. Thirty minutes later, no one had even started her nails. When I asked what was going on, I explained that we were on a tight schedule because my daughter had a hair appointment afterward for her prom. I was told that all the technicians were busy and that walk-in customers were taking longer than expected. So apparently walk-ins take priority over customers with appointments. What bothered me most wasn't even the delay--it was the complete lack of concern. Not one person apologized or acknowledged that our time was being wasted. Had it not been my daughter's prom day, we would have left. If appointments don't matter and walk-ins come first, what's the point of scheduling? Based on this experience and the lack of customer service, I won't be returning.
