I ordered the Peach Grapefruit Green Tea and the Sugar Cane Mountain Tea. I thought both drinks were okay. The grapefruit in the green tea was kind of sour. I got it at 70% sweetness and the drink was pretty sweet but the fruits were sour and didn't seem to go well with the tea. The sugar cane tea was also with 70% sweetness and it was pretty sweet. I think I prefer sugar cane juice without tea. The store was dim and doesn't seem too captivating. If I were to come back. I'd give the strawberry series a try.

Didn't have my favorite wintermelon milk tea, had to settle for the winter melon tea instead. Taste was decent. Price was average. Fast service and quick pickup. Place was clean and tidy. Will come back, but may try something new next time.

Long-time drinker, first time yelper! At Yifang, expect a lot of Asians boba lovers. And so there can be a long queue, esp after a long retreat or a break in between plenaries! But regardless of the wait, the drinks are worth it. But be advised! They do not not lychee slush. Rats!! Tartar sauce! But their lychee sago drink is surprisingly a very good alternative!! They also have a lot of other drinks so make sure to give 'em a try! Ambiance is very cute! And lots of history on their walls. Also the staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating! They don't just want to take your money; they actually care about you! Solid A for service and quality and quantity!

409 S Shore Ctr Alameda, CA 94501 I'm sorry, I didn't like your Mango Fruit Tea. It didn't taste like mango at all, and it had apple slices in it. I'm guessing it's supposed to be a combination of flavors? Other reviews mention passion fruit. I didn't taste that, just a weird flavor. I was at Yifang Taiwan Fruit Tea on a Saturday afternoon. My friend and I came in to try the drinks. It's a large spacious interior with a common seating area. You order using electronic kiosk, so it's a cashless operation. You give your name and ph #, and you get a msg when your order is ready. Or you can just wait by the counter, and they call out your name and order #. Seems like they could add some furniture. Yifang is located on the "beach side" of the Southshore Center, near Home Goods. Free parking

Avocado matcha was super weird and gross, wintermelon tea with sago was super forgettable. not the worst tho, and service was average with an okay ambiance.

Favorite drink here is the strawberry fruit tea. It's a great alternative to a milk tea, and the Mountain Apple adds a refreshing crisp taste to balance the strawberry and citrus notes.

Stopped by b/c I was craving a matcha latte. Pretty mid I'd say. Only slightly better than what they have in Starbucks (which I know isn't great already). Kyoto Uji Matcha Latte, $7.75, Large, Reg milk, 70% Sweetness, and Less Ice. 3/5 b/c past drink orders have been good, but drink was overpriced compared to what I would get from like Kiss of Matcha

My typical go to drink at Yifang is their black tea latte with egg pudding. The egg pudding here is not the same at all. It's frankly weird to me. I prefer the way SF Chinatown location does it. Other than this I can say it's a good option in the area still. Alameda has a couple of the chains and some smaller independent ones. This location have two self ordering kiosks. Not a lot of interactions with the staff. It's really just order, pick up, and go. They have some indoor seating if you want to chill.

Always a go-to when I come to the shoreline mall/alameda. I personally love the mango pomelo sago- so chewey and refreshing with the grapefruit. My sis got the same but her boba was a bit too cold and not up to par as usual. Otherwise, always great and fast service. I wish they could make the seating area a bit nicer but I understand things have changed since covid.

I ordered the lychee fruit tea. It taste refreshing, but I didn't like the pulp much. Customers self order at the kiosk and pick up at the counter when they text us. The inside could be better. I like the wall seating, it's different and interesting. But the rest of the shop looks like a warehouse. Overall, good tea but needs to improve on the ambiance.

The drinks were decent here. This location isn't great for hanging out. There's so what looks like stadium seating but not really place you can hang out there. The order iPads kept not connecting to order so each time I go I usually have to go up and ask to order.

My new favorite drink is now Mango Pomelo Sago, thanks to Yifang amd my friend's recommendation of this drink. Very refreshing on a sunny afternoon.

Ordered brown sugar pearl matcha latte and received this. Barely any brown sugar. Thick White chunks in the milk, and many little chunks of undissolved matcha. Tastes sour I do not recommend this location.

Once you walk into the restaurant, there's indoor and outdoor seating available. The outdoor seating is covered by a patio, and on colder days, I'm assuming they will put a heater out there? I'm not too sure, since I don't actually eat outside often. Indoor is well lit up, and has a decent amount of seating. The biggest table I have seen seats around 6 people, but can be more if you have small children I suppose. We mostly order the rolls here, and to be fair, it's a decent pricing. However, it is a hit or miss. 1. Lion King - Decent. Taste all the same everywhere you go if you ask me. 2. Deep Fried Spicy Tuna - Must have, definitely my favorite. 3. Golden Gate - More on the saucy side with imitation crab meat, it's basic. 4. Dragon Roll - Again, same anywhere you go. 5. Double Salmon Roll - Salmon on the inside, salmon on the outside. Cheaper alternative than to just getting nigiri or salmon sashimi. The customer service here is not the best in my opinion. The first time we took a friend there for his birthday, and it was terrible. The host, waiter/server, and manager disregarded us. However, a table next to us got the friendliest treatment. The type of treatment you give when you expect them to come back so you can address them by their name. The second time we've been here, the customer service was basic. No expectations, just take your order, serve, and a simple question of how is everything. Honestly, customer service could have been much more reasonable at even the most basic level. Overall, the food is ok. I wouldn't say it's like the best, but if you're here for lunch or a quick bite, it's fine.

What made it worse was that the doors were open and there were employees inside huddled around a table. When I walked in, they just casually said the place was closed--no explanation, no signage, nothing. I even asked when they'd be open again and none of them had an answer. No one seemed to know what was going on. If your hours have changed or you're not serving, update your website and put a sign on the door. This was a complete waste of my time and a pretty poor customer experience.

The Blueberry Burst Boba was fruity, refreshing, and packed with blueberry flavor without being overly sweet. The popping boba added a fun texture and made the drink feel extra enjoyable. Service was friendly and efficient, and the staff kept things moving quickly even during a busy period. The vibe is clean, modern, and relaxed, making it a nice place to stop for a quick drink or hang out with friends.
