my brother goes to college in this area and has always mentioned this restaurant to me. we're southeast asian, and it's pretty rare to find a good authentic lao/thai restaurant in iowa. we didn't get to sit inside and eat, but we ordered for to go and the quality was great! we got the pad kee mao (drunken noodle) and pad see ew, tom yum soup, chicken wings, larb, and pad woon sen. + thai tea :) the noodles were 7/10, we got them super spicy and it met our standards. the tom yum soup here was 8/10, though it did taste like the vietnamese soup "canh chua" but still very yummy! the asian female server that was working was super sweet to me and my family and provided amazing service. i took pics of the menu bc ive seen that no one has posted updated ones so i hope this helps! i would've taken pictures of the food but we ate it too fast! as a southeast asian myself i 10/10 recommend this to anyone looking for thai/lao food around here!

Love Yings Kitchen! Their crab rangoon is amazing. Had that last night. Also had some hot and crispy potstickers and a an iced green tea that was wonderful and sweet! I'll be ordering that again. The atmosphere is very nice and homey. Very comfortable, and not freezing cold like so many restaurants in the summer. The server was very fast and efficient.

Good food, good service. Solid Thai food unexpectedly found in small town Iowa. I recommend trying them out.

Big compliment. The restaurant is clean. The food was fair. Nohing id want to get again. The cocont cckekn was overcooked and other dishes had very little tase. The panang curry sauce was good. The peanut sauce, usually the best part of a thai meal, was pasty, thick, cold, bland, solid. Not good. The server took our order. She never came back. The cook brought our food, . I saw waitresss later, sitting, absorbed n a text conversation on her phone. No one else checked on us. No refills. Just cannot recommend this place anymore. Feels like the cook has just given up. They shouldnt be charging $12 per meal. This is $6 food. Food 2.5 star (no one got sick), service 2.5 star (nobody was rude) atmosphere 3.0. Poor visit, last visit. Oveall exprience a 2, poor.

It is on the river with a beautiful view, patio when it's nice, floor to ceiling windows when it's not, ample parking, connected to a hotel, and not difficult to find. The staff is friendly and professional, the menu is extensive, and not only has great sushi, but also fabulous entrées, if seafood isn't your thing. I also appreciate that they have an entire gluten-free menu, vegetarian options, and a mocktail list to go with their fabulous cocktails. I'm not even going to try to tell you all the different food you should try here because it depends on your tastes and there's plenty to choose from. However, there's smoked Manhattan (pictured here) is pretty exceptional. I actually like getting it without the smoke, but if you like a smoky cocktail, the presentation is fabulous. It's a little spendy, but the ingredients are superb. Oh and did I mention that they have a happy hour...
