Its name was St. Joseph's then but nothing has really changed about this hospital but the name!!! I was recently here for a small day surgery procedure with my mother, and this place has kept up its appearance well. It's not run down or anything and that's really good!!! The personnel was very accommodating and friendly. They use to have a really good snack bar here, I'm not sure if they still have it or actually moved it somewhere else in the hospital. Every time I came here to visit someone I couldn't wait to get something from that snack bar. There is a chapel in the front as well since this is a private Roman Catholic hospital. At one time there were nuns on staff here as well. I'm not sure if they are still employed there because I didn't see any on my recent visit. This is a great hospital to get a real peace of mind and excellent care.

It's the WORST experience my mom and I EVER received from a medical office. All we were attempting to do was be established as a new patient. We were spoke to in a condescending disrespectful manner and refused service. We were told that their office policy doesn't allow them to see new patients over 80 years old. I said my mother was actually referred to their office. After 12 minutes of getting the runaround, we were told this would be referred to the office manager and it'll be 2 weeks after she comes back to work on 05-26-2026 before we get a return call. I asked who is the office manager that would be calling us and she said she's not giving us that information and hung up on us. THERE'S NO WAY, I will let my 85 years old mother be seen by such a disrespectful "Medical Facility" such as this. Obviously after reading other reviews, I see we're not the first.

Some may be tougher to work for because they demand excellence, but I think patients reap the benefit of their high standards. GRU has created a strong service for anyone with Heart Rhythm issues (afib, pacemakers, ICD's). Also great care for vein issues, CABG, and general cardiac care.
