So expectations were never high and thought it would be a tourist trap, yet, I wouldn't call Longmont touristy. So one day my wife and I got take out. Honestly, I was surprised. The food was fantastic. I don't remember what we got that time but it was memorable enough that we said we should go there for drinks and dinner. So a few months ago, not really craving anything particular and fresh off a hike but starving we decided to give it a try. Blown away. Food was exceptional. I got the salmon which is basically ordering fancy chicken at a restaurant. It was delicious. And the risotto was absolutely incredible. Service was great. When we asked what the server recommended he didn't give us a run around and say "well everything is good". He gave concrete recommendations and nailed it. Great place to go especially with family. Seems like it's a lot fun too

Uh, yes please! They have their own parking lot. We were welcomed in and seated as we had our reservations. The bathrooms were clean and well lit. The bar is located inside the pirate ship! We all came dressed in our tropical attire. The drink menu is fun and our server, Chase was the best! He gave us great recommendations and made the evening fun. We ordered the Pu Pu Platter for the table to share and then my husband and I split an order of the crab cakes. The platter had feta wontons, chicken wings (I'll come back to those), fried calamari, Spam musubi, red curry cheese tots, edamame, mac salad and seaweed salad. The seaweed salad was a new taste for me. I liked the dressing and overall it was tasty. The mac salad was traditional island mac. Good stuff. Edamame is not normally my fav, but this was seasoned well. Red curry cheese tots, yum!! The Spam musubi had a dipping sauce and together that was a tasty snack. The fried calamari, was crispy outside, not greasy and tender inside. Well done! The feta wontons were a fun combo of crispy wonton, cucumber and a creamy feta spread. Now, the chicken wings. They are not on the menu as something you can order on its own. I wish they were, as we would have ordered more! They come with a gochujang-teriyaki glaze topped with sesame seeds and scallion. Absolutely the best thing on the platter! Our crab cakes were made from Pacific Rock crab and accompanied by fresh avocado on a bed of smoked tomato pureé garnished with mango salsa. A perfect bite. I do need to talk about the drinks. My husband had a Zombie, Flor de Caña 4 year Oro rum, Planteray OFTD rum, cinnamon syrup, grapefruit, fassionola, lime and a dash of Leopold Brothers absinthe. He loved it! I asked Chase for a recommendation and he said his fav was the Three Dots and a Dash. I went with that. This drink had Dry Land Distillers aged cane rum, Planteray original dark rum, falernum, allspice dram, honey syrup, fresh lime, orange and Angostura bitters. I sipped and savored that for the evening. What a fun experience. I will definitely be coming back.

I'm done with Oskar Blues and the surprises each time I go…read more I tried to have a birthday party on a Monday lunch time for 6 adults and 4 kids. I called ahead and Sarah said I could reserve space inside or outside seating for my party but when we got there, the host put us outside and THEN told us they didn't have service outside and we'd have to order at the bar. WTF!? So, we moved inside and were the only ones in the place for about 30 minutes. The food was good but I'm done with everything being an add-on item - example: cheese on the burger is $1.50. Really? House salad was $2.00 additional replacing onion rings on the pulled pork sandwich? Soft drinks were reasonable at $3.00 each. We ordered a kids fish plate ($8.00) and wanted to order one additional fish filet and were charged for a second kids plate (again $8.00). KIds' Mac & Cheese was pretty good. The cost-of-living adder on the check that most restaurants have dropped is now LUMPED together with tax on the bill so as to hide the additional amount. On my bill of $146.00 - they added $17.36 for tax and adjustment. Working backwards, I guess that is an additional $5.00 or 3%. Not too much but it's misleading to price a menu this way. One only saving grace was I could pay with a charge card and they didn't add a fee on top of all that. I guess future customers will see if that changes because I'm done.

I came here with a group of 24 people FOR LUNCH and we were greeted warmly and each of us were treated like VIP's. Starting with the in-house made bread that was FRESH and crusty but soft inside. The bread was served with olive oil and was a a great way to kick off the meal. The menu has so many choices it's hard to choose what to try. I decided to start with the ZUPPA CAPRESE soup- $8 Roasted garlic, tomato and basil with melted mozzarella crostini. Mmm mmm good! EXCELLENT layering of fresh flavors. Next I got the lunch antipasti - appetizer with steak and fire roasted peppers and eggplant. The complexity of flavors was absolutely incredible. There was enough food to make a nice meal. I didn't need anything else! Alas, the linguine putanesca - Linguine, olives, capers, garlic, tomato basil sauce called my name and I could not say no. I added some grilled chicken for protein. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The sauce was so flavorful! My only complaints are that I probably had one or 2 olives total, once you add up the little pieces. Also, that chicken I added? $6 for 6 tiny little partial chicken strips. Overall, given the great flavor and excellent service, this is my new favorite Italian restaurant! Troy - thank you for making each of us feel welcome. Bravissimo, Caprese Trattoria! I'll be back!

I'm a BWW fan, but my recent two experiences at this location left me disappointed…read more I usually order boneless wings and get a variety of sauces (because who can really pick between great flavors like jammin jalapeño, Buffalo, and spicy adobo??). But my main grievance here is that the wings have consistently not had enough sauce. They're barely covered in the sauce! Pretty crucial detail for great wings, yet it seems to vary from Bdubz to Bdubz. I also did curbside pick-up from this location recently. Maybe it was just a busy time, but the pick up situation seemed super disorganized. We got our food 20 minutes after the expected time & were asked multiple times who our pickup order was for. The employees were definitely trying their best and covid has certainly changed the game on this front, but we are 8 months into this- so at this point I would expect a better customer experience from a large company like BWW.

We sat ourselves since no one was up front and no one from the kitchen said anything. No lunch specials, at least on the weekend. We ordered the Cashew Chicken and Pad Thai with tofu. There was a very small portion of chicken in the stir-fry, mostly veggies...not worth the price for sure. The Pad Thai was acceptable but they could work on their presentation. The restaurant was clean so that's a plus. I don't feel like I got my money's worth though so likely won't return :(.

We had their rich and flavorful Panag Curry and their Pad See Ewe. Both dishes provided the warmth and comfort we've come to expect from Thai dishes. On a whim, we ordered their Crab Rangoon for the first time, expecting small fried wontons with just a quarter teaspoon of filling like we've had at other Asian restaurants. And boy were we overjoyed by the tablespoon+ of creamy crabby filling and left wanting more. We still like the ambiance of their Louisville and Erie locations better, but we're glad we have an option in Longmont!
