I came in today around 10:30 in which no one was in Line or anyone behind me so I figured it would be quick. I ordered a three piece empanada in which were apple pie Dulce de Leche and ham and cheese. All of them reeked of old oil and the ham and cheese wasn't even ham and cheese. It was stuck to the paper falling apart and burnt. The flavor tasted old. I usually don't like leaving bad reviews with this genuinely left a bad taste in my mouth.

I love a new coffee shop, and this name really got my attention. I loved the broad menu, so when I went I wanted to try a few empanada's and a coffee. The coffee was great, but sadly the empanadas didn't meet the hype. They tasted a bit old, and had hardly any filling in them. The price point was about $25 for an iced coffee and 3 empanadas. I'd totally go back for a coffee, but will probably hit the local pandaria for empanadas.

My favorite empanadas in the area! They are a little expensive and buyer beware they won't recognize or honor promotions if the time has passed. They are very strict even if it's your bday freebie and a day has passed. Otherwise their empanadas are very tasty and filling and temperature is on point. Haven't tried their drinks since they are expensive in my opinion.

Chicken empanada, 2 Oz Side of Chimichurri, and cilantro sauce

I have hopes for this place since it was close to home and had coffee. Don't get me wrong the are descent empanadas, but they are not Maria Empanadas. You can tell the dough is really worked since the pleated parts are quite hard. The filling for the most part is full in the empanadas, however the chicken is on the salty side. The chimichurri sauce is really good along with the green sauce and the apple empanada. Next time, I will check out some of the breakfast ones and beef.

This place is perfect if you need a good espresso and breakfast on the run. Definitely go here instead of any Starbucks. It's affordable, fast drive thru, great food, great quality coffee. Plus they also do pup cups and have way cooler packaging! (See pic). The chimichuri sauce is my favorite on everything, the the beef empanada is my fave. All great flavors. They have great breakfast empanadas too. The people are so nice and accommodating. They make my day!

Stopped in about a week ago and will definitely be back! It was around 9am, and I ordered a chicken queso empanada and it was delicious! Will be back to try some others soon.

This was my 1st time trying this place and it will definitely be my last. The breakfast ham and cheese was very dry and over baked and the pumpkin was under baked.

Small business! I Ordered this morning the staff was friendly, drive thur was quick the outside of the building was clean, this is a drive thur and I think walk up. The inside kitchen looked clean from what I could see from my vehicle. Staff handling food was gloved so everything looked good. Not sure if they know but the website they have listed on yelp has an Error 404 page and shows nothing, so I went to this location knowing nothing but what previous reviews listed which isn't much so I hope this review helps others. Now to the main items the food i took pictures of the menu in drive thru 12/21/24 prices may very. I ordered a vanilla iced latte. I do have to say it is small for the cost of $6.25 and I wasn't impressed it could have used more vanilla flavor as well. I also ordered a Beef, Chicken, Ham, and Napoleon empanada to try out picture added below this came with Chimichurri sauce and a Pico. Before adding my opinion all of these empanads were delicious. I just like different things. The ham was good, but I'm not much for ham it had ham, mozzarella ,and natural spices so wasn't my top pick, and the Napoleon was a chorizo bacon, egg, mozzarella chesse which I didn't really care for but I'm also not a fan of chorizo like my husband is, he enjoyed it but wasn't my favorite. My favorite out of these was the beef which had beef, onions, bell peppers, and garlic, and the chicken which had chicken, onion, and garlic. Would I order again YES . About the size of my hand for each one. 4 out of 5 stars feel like the coffee could have been a bigger size for the price. Cost of today's visit with tax was $33.72. I will be back to try more! Keep up the good work!

I'm currently eating my empanada in the parking lot and having my morning coffee it's soooo delicious!! Glad I decided to stop here instead of Starbucks today. I got the ham and cheese empanada and a dulce de lechce cooki latte with oatmilk. So so yummy I'll be back tomorrow ;)

Literally the only coffee I want now. The empenadas are tasty, as well, but the service is reliably and consistently great!

The empanada was huge--one was plenty for me. A friend ordered two and could only finish one! We also shared the Yucca Root with cheese and fresh avocado appetizer. Everything was simply made and very delicious, especially with one or more of the sauces provided in plastic bottles for the table. The service was prompt and friendly. The ambience is strictly plain, but the outdoor tables with umbrellas would be great on a nice warm day. I'll be back!

Last Sunday (on the day many were getting ready for their Super Bowl gatherings), I was busy running some errands in Sunnyside neighborhood. All of a sudden, the thought of eating to entertain my 70% empty stomach hit me, I searched for the word "empanada" as I wanted some finger food and this restaurant came up in my search. Upon finding out that it was about 5-10 minutes away from where I was, it was a no brainer to me. This is a Venezuelan restaurant with almost 5-star review. Not knowing much about Venezuelan cuisine, my first thought was that they might have similar dishes as the surrounding South American countries like Columbia do. But most of all, I was so eager to try their empanadas. I've had Argentinian, El Salvadorian, Columbian and Nicaraguan versions of empanadas in the past. I wondered how different Venezuelan ones would be... I was warmly greeted by a young lady upfront upon arrival. This is a small/family style restaurant. The number of tables is very limited but you can sit outside as long as the weather permits. There was a large table of 7-9 people having a birthday party. I think I hit the place during the peak lunch time. Their empanadas are priced at $8 range. This was a bit pricey to me at the first glance but since I didn't know what kind of portion size they'd be made in, I thought I'd give them a try. I got me Reina Pediada, Sweet Domino and Fish. The total came to $27 with some change. Yup, you usually don't pay this much for a few to several empanadas but hey, like I said, I decided not to judge at that point. The young lady who took my order impressed me with some careful attention to detail. I placed my sunglasses at the ordering counter where the space was very limited. She had to move them just a little when she placed the credit card receipt for me to sign it. "I worked in the optics before." is what she said when she gently placed my sunglasses a little to the side in a very careful way. What a kind/considerate gesture that was! This kind of minor and yet incredible care didn't escape my notice. Thank you!!! When my food was ready, the same young lady handed me my bag. It was quite heavy. As soon as I got to my car, I opened it and there they were; my beautiful empanadas were large and dense/heavy!! They appeared to be all deep-fried so I wonder if Venezuelan style empanadas are all that way? Not sure. Anyway, I was on my way to a job duty so I had to eat quickly. I started to take a bite out of each one and ohhh yes, they were dense with a lot of fillings inside. Although I must frankly say that I like the flaky baked kind of empanadas more, these Venezuelan ones were equally impressive. Yes, this was a surprise find. I will definitely stop by here when I'm in the neighborhood for sure.

I went midday and surprisingly no one was there. Tiny little store but smelled awesome. Service left more to be desired. They were out of the Pork Green Chile but I was able to get the 2 that I wanted (Red Pork and Green Cheese). It's always good to ask if items are spicy or non spicy, and the cashier let me know the Green Cheese is spicy. I tried one which wasn't very spicy but the 2nd one I had, was definitely spicy! Depends who makes it and how much green chile they add. I don't see much cheese so it must have already melted into the masa. If you like it spicy (and can handle the heat), grab the green chile/tomato salsa - absolutely delicious! Red pork was also delicious. The sizes of these tamales are pretty big but not all consistent. Also they are thick masa. If they were just equal layers or thinner then they'd be perfect - but I don't mind the thickness. It was pretty expensive but hey, we typically only get tamales around the holidays so can't be helped. Other option would be to get your bags and freeze what you don't eat. Parking is off the street or surrounding neighborhood. They have a big open lot out front but not sure if it's for parking.
