The main selling point for us was the Kids Club, very convenient hours to bring our toddler while we work out! The ladies locker room is nice and clean from what I've seen. Some gym equipment is a bit old, doesn't work as smooth (referring specifically to Glute Machine- donkey kicks lol) But looks like this gym is going to be getting a huge upgrade since as of yesterday, it is under new ownership! As soon as we walked in yesterday, we were promptly greeted by the new team, they were very friendly and informative and happily asked for feedback! They seem like they love what they do and represent the gym very well! I already love this gym, but if they had the tanning and a pool, it would be PERFECT! It would also be nice if they had water bottle friendly refill stations. While Covid cases have decreased, Planet Fitness has continued to maintain a clean and safe facility for its patrons. I also worked with one of their trainers to design my own program. The trainer listened to my goals and helped me create a workout routine that works as long as I remain consistent.

I respectfully expressed my concerns and asked Manager Latoyia if I could speak with her supervisor or obtain contact information for corporate or the local franchise owner so that I could formally file a complaint. Unfortunately, Latoyia became very rude and was unwilling to provide me with any of the information I requested or assist me in addressing my concerns. I found her response and attitude extremely disappointing. Needless to say, my wife and I decided not to join. We do not believe anyone should be expected to share showers and locker room facilities with members of the opposite sex. In our opinion, this is not a family-friendly environment, and based on this experience, I would not recommend this Planet Fitness location to others. I believe customers should be treated respectfully and given a reasonable way to communicate concerns to management or corporate leadership, regardless of whether management agrees with those concerns.
