This is a small laundromat but good for their community. I needed a place to wash all my blankets and pillows. I normally drive all the way to Melrose Park to BlueKangaroo but wanted to stay close to home, O'Hare. I drove to Park Ridge and Des Plains first and couldn't find anything suitable so I ended up in Schiller Park. There were a lot of kids which is understandable but there was this one kid wrecking havoc. His mom couldn't control him either and other customers were annoying, clearly. That'll definitely take away from a persons experience. I was disappointed because all of the machines were small. Therefore, I had to use multiple machines to get the job done. There were really only 2 sizes small and Xtra small. They were a little pricey too. Also, there was a smell of moldy clothes when I opened the washer door. I sat in my car while blankets were washing. The machines had been off for maybe 10 mins. My items were moved out of my washers as a new lady had her things in all of the machines I used. There must've been a concerned look on my face as the clerk shouted out "looking for your pillows?" He pointed to the dryers they were in. In a sigh of relief, I asked him how much did I owe him, he replied "nothing." He explained he just wanted to make sure all machines were available. He saved my review of 1 or 2 star. He was kind and had great customer service skills. However, I need a place that's conducive for large loads of blankets, comforters, and pillows. This place is not it. This place is cool of you have a couple of loads of clothes and that's it. read more

Terrible laundry establishment!! Too many machines are out of oder every time i go. No one is ever there. Machines will take your money only to not work at all. I was promised a free wash via a contact number by 224-615-0619. When i returned for the wash they never responded. I only go there because my girl gets her nails done in the same plaza. Second time I used the 11 dollar machine, then it wouldn't read the door being closed after I deposited my money. Bathrooms are not up to part. Its always filthy. Yellow tape all over the place like a gotdamn crime scene. I rather wash my clothes at epstien island then go here again! read more

I really liked this 24/7 laundry mat a couple years ago. The biggest reason was that I could use a credit card and not have to carry change or purchases a card. Though some of the tables and chairs were dated, the laundry was relatively clean. Fast forward to last night. There were numerous machines out of service and the card readers weren't functioning on 2 out of 4 machines that I selected. I had the machines loaded and had already put in detergent. Good thing that I had some small bills and was able to get coins. On the last few visits there have been no paper towels available. The table tops were dirty by the machines that were still working. A couple staff members came in and one proceeded to dust mop the floor. He deposited the dirt pile right in front of my basket and the dryer I was using. I was standing about 2' away from it. So much for customer service. Very rude. He didn't attempt to clean off the laundry tables that needed attention. Place is going downhill, which is sad. read more

Today was a really disappointing day . I typically come here every weekend no problem . I am still waiting to hear back from management on this issue. Today there was an employee on sight and walking around the facility without a mask. Shortly after I noticed one customer then felt empowered not to wear his mask and begun pacing the floor back and forth throughout the laundromat(pull the camera it's all there). When I asked the employee what was the protocol and who needed to follow it her reply was "well don't stand by me then". I was not standing by her I did not come over to her area , she was walking back and forth throughout the facility tending to the machine with no mask. Point A: customer service died today in this place. Her response was totally unacceptable. Point B: there is a sign right at the entrance on the door before you even walk in that says wear a mask . There is no way to be probably social distanced each other if you are moving around the facility. The man that kept walking around and pacing the floor made me feel very uncomfortable as I also had my daughter with me. It was almost as if he was trying to make a statement after seeing the employee did not have a mask. Point C: if employees are responsible for wiping down the machines and also processing customer drop offs what happens if she sneezes or something on the machines? How is that keeping customers safe ? It's really sad that I am writing this review because I've never had anything bad to say about this place. This was my first encounter with this employee . First of all - This place takes debit card on the machine itself, in addition to quarters. With the alleged "coin shortage" during this pandemic - that is a plus in my book! Not even laundromats in NYC offer that. My clothes come out of the drier, dry every time after 35 mins. The place is clean, nearly always empty when I go, and right down the street from my house - this place is my go-to for laundry. If you're looking for a simple place to go do your laundry, then this is the place. If you're looking for bells and whistles, consider getting your own set of washer/dryer and converting a space in your home into a laundry room. read more

Let's start with the overprice... Plenty of machines are unable as they need repair. The heavy set lady with the deep man voice that works there mops first then puts the sign I almost fell. She also yelled at me for getting quarters thinking that I just came in to get quarters when I was doing laundry. I told her excuse me I'm still doing laundry and thought I can in just to take quarters mind you she's seen me here in the last hour bringing in clothes. She's so rude ... Although I do have a washer and dryer... There are days that laundry is going out the window!That is when I need a laundromat. This place ocean and machines in working condition. No out of order signs seen. I get all of my laundry done at once and go. Plenty of seats. Close by 7-11 for a drink. Every time I have gone there is a friendly employee cleaning or straightening up. BEWARE!!! I used the wash and fold service based on their published statement of how they carefully do laundry. I dropped it off and when I picked it up it was SO wrinkled that I asked to have it re done. I personally sat there while they did it and the wrinkles didn't come out. I have been doing laundry for a long time but was traveling and didn't have access to washer and dryer. There were also stains and my micro fiber new sheets had burn marks on them! I called the number listed and left three messages asking to have the owner call me back to discuss. No call at all! I went back in and spoke to Danielle, who was very nice, and she re did it again and got the wrinkles out! But the NEW sheets are burnt and nothing was getting rid of that. We called the owner when I was there and he told me I brought the sheets in like that!!!! Did I mention they are NEW!?! I asked for some sort of compensation and was told No, that's how they came in. I believe it is their dryers that are so hot they caused the set in wrinkles and burned my sheets. The owner/manager, Bob, was rude. At the very least he could have comped what I paid to get the laundry done. I wasn't asking for a lot but some sort of apology and a stipend is definitely in order. Had to wash my clothes 2 times because of the last product used in the washer which wasn't cleaned out, used another one and it Had cat hair now I have cat hair on my clothes and my allergies have been acting up since I left spent so much money here not worth it no help what so ever read more

After years of having my own washer and dryer I now moved to a place without one....so....In the last three months I've been trying out all kinds of laundromats- not because I e got nothing better to do/ but because I want to find one I can go to regularly and be comfortable in. I can say without a doubt that this place is the best for miles around. The women who take care of the facilities are friendly and always working to keep it clean. The owner is frequently there making sure things are running smoothly. The place is clean and well lit- and reasonably priced. There's a TV and a PC for internet access. Lots of assorted sized machines for various load sizes. Sounds wierd to review a coin laundry but I gotta say this one is terrific. read more

Very nice Laundromat. It was my first time coming here and the person working was very friendly and helpful with advising me where everything was and how to use the machines. They offer loyalty cards so you don't have to worry about having quarters. You can also pay with your credit card. Overall very good experience. Give it a try you won't be disappointed!!! read more

I accidentally got a towel stuck in the washer, 2 in fact. Water started pouring out if both washers. The attendant turned off the machines. I had to pay an additional $11.50 to restart the washers when she could have just restarted them. Not very good customer service. I come here once a week. I will not be back. Had a long layover @ ORD and still another week to go on my three week trip. So I decided to Uber locally to do laundry. Yelp wasn't a lot of help but found this place and it definitely doesn't deserve the lowish rating. The place is clean, machines work well, they take credit-cards and sell soap by the capful. I came here with my mom when our washing machine was on the fritz. The washing/drying stuff was all fine and dandy. They boast the fact that they have 2 computers. Neither works. My phone was dead. I was bored. My mom gave me one of her Avon books to look at. We did our business then left. A few days later, my mom got a text. Apparently, I had carelessly left the book I was looking at in my rush to get all my things out. An employee, Tiffany Upchurch sells Avon out of that laundromat. How do I know? She took it upon herself to send a rude and semi-threatening text to my mom telling her she better not leave a book there again. My mom informed her it was all in error and she kept messaging her. How lucky Tiffany must be to be able to conduct a side business at her place of employment. Our machine is still broken, but we won't be going back. I'm not interested in an Avon turf war. Especially since their employees take it upon themselves to send threatening texts to customers. read more

A very nice laundromat and great prices! The owner is often there and he is very friendly and talkative. They have free wifi and also 2 computers if you need them. Also have a drop off service for $1.15 a pound! Conveniently located close to O'Hare so if your traveling it's an easy place to get too. I definitely recommend doing your laundry here. read more
