They examined each volume and offered a fair price for the ones worthy of selling in their store or at book fairs. I learned many of the books were in good condition and very old, yet have little value in the current market. They advised me of where to sell other books in the collection which had little value, were not rare and/or in need of repair. Really nice folks. The workers are pretty nice there are no complaints there. My complaint is the prices of things as a lot of the stuff there is quite overpriced, especially the textbooks, hoodies and school merch, and the school supplies. The snacks are also pricy and is a bit or miss depending on what you're getting but you're paying for the convenience I guess. Also keep in mind that they have no bags so bring your own.

This bookstore is open on weekdays (except Fridays). Staff (perhaps volunteers) are transparent and friendly, though some are not always warm as the others. There are quite a substantial amount of faith-based merchandise inside: from different bible versions (NLT, NKJV, KJV, NIV, ESV, NASB, Tyndale, etc) in different sizes; clothings; jewelry and accessories; bible covers and bags; notebooks and journals; study and commentary books; home decorative items; witnessing tracts; writing instruments and highlighters; as well as children's materials inclusive of toys, books, media items, etc. GSCB usually have "discount" on their items, thus, pretty affordable for purchase. We find ourselves regularly visiting GSCB to collect favorite items such as bibles we could share to friends, and bible verse-based merchandises like The Armor of God collections, Wings like Eagles, The Godly Women, and other interesting find for those who enjoy reading, and even decorating with inspiring or motivational texts. GSCB is open to everyone, not just to members of CCGS. That's what I like the most.

I'd suggest getting there by 10 a.m. or earlier if you want a good parking spot. There are plenty of toys, from action figures to trading cards. To read a review stating so one felt they were discriminated against because they were a minority is a crazy accusation considering the owners are a bi-racial couple. Being upset because you didn't get your way does not automatically mean someone is racist because you're a minority. I just so happened to be behind the lady in the prior review stating she was discriminated against and that's just so wrong. I was one of the last few to get tickets for me and my kids owners were trying to stick to their policy and make it fair to every family. It was clearly posted !!! I don't think people understand what small businesses have to go through.
