The bar/restaurant line was not too long and it moved quickly. We had kettle popcorn, hot dogs, beers and cider. These were good and there were so many options; pizza, beer, ice cream, salad, nachos, etc. They are also a pick your own farm; from strawberries, flowers, pumpkins, apples, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, peaches, it all depends on the season. They even have a sugar house which produces maple syrup and other treats. We had an enjoyable time when we went and look forward to going back.

Give him the benefit of the doubt and book him for our block party two weeks later. Because of the no show the first time I sent a confirmation email the day before the event and he confirms that he will be there. But once again, NO SHOW. We had kids in tears because we promised an ice cream truck and no one arrived. I am completely shocked that a business could be so unprofessional. Despite multiple confirmations and affirmations that he would be at two separate parties, he never showed. So two times in less than a month he was a no-show. I would suggest using a different company if you want the ice cream truck to actually come to your party. I would never have left this review if this were a one time event, but for it to happen to the same person two times is a trend. Obviously we will never use them again and I would warn people about using them too.

The apple cider ice cream (2 scoops) had a mix of apple cider ice cream, cider donut pieces & cinnamon swirl, pretty good. The sandwich was a modest size with deli slices of chicken, American cheese, lettuce, onions, tangy BBQ sauce on a soft roll cut in half. The sandwich was tasty. The small side of creamy potato salad was good. I would stop back at Hill City again for the ice cream & food and miniature golf, weather permitting.
