Probably the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process was hiring DJ Yoav for our wedding's entertainment and lighting. Our wedding was a typical Persian/Jewish wedding w/ around 350 guests, but Yoav took it to another level and ABSOLUTELY KILLED IT. ALL of our guests were super impressed and said that it was the most fun that they had ever had at a wedding! He listened to our requests and delivered on all of them. Wow! What an unbelievable party last night and it was all because of the energy Dj Yoav brought! He goes the extra mile in making it special and is very professional! DJ yoav was the Dj at my wedding. He was was phenominal! Music is such a big part of making a wedding reception fun and high-energy, and yoav did a fantastic job. He arrived punctually , set up quickly, and is so highly experienced that he knew the flow of the event . Before the ceremony, he had some pleasant background music playing, and afterward she kept things moving along with a good selection of fun, dance-able songs that parents and younger guests could both enjoy. Yoav is very professional and it seemed like she would be accommodating to whatever the client's preferences/needs are, but we got the feeling that her own musical tastes were similar to ours and he really got the mood we were going for. ;) Yoav was very friendly and helpful with guests who had requests and questions wore wedding-appropriate clothing for the occasion. Yoav recently was the DJ at an event for our family. To start off, he was super professional and responsible, even setting up a day before since the party started early in the evening. He was communicating with us a lot before the event which was very nice too. This review is long overdue! Yoav was the DJ at our wedding in January of 2018. Honestly, I was quite skeptical of using a DJ at all as I had been accustomed to full bands at weddings and was really nervous about the idea. Let me tell you, Yoav has completely changed that precedent. He is an absolute ALL-STAR! His skill on the turntable was without question the best I have witnessed, but on top of that he also set the mood and created a warm, intimate ambiance with incredible lighting throughout the hall and for the chuppah ceremony (Jewish wedding ritual). His music choices were perfect and his transitions were seamless. He is uniquely gifted and was able to combine mine and my wife's different music tastes. He had all of us (and we had quite the age range at our wedding) dancing till the hall kicked us out. My wife and I were both ecstatic with him and the night as a whole. I've dealt with many people in the entertainment industry. Unfortunately, many of them have left a bad taste in my mouth and I wasn't afraid to write an unhappy review in response. Not with Yoav. He worked with us every step of the way, and made sure our night was absolutely perfect. Music aside, he was a pleasure to work with. He was incredibly accommodating and friendly throughout the whole process. I've come to realize the music at a wedding can change the whole night. I can't tell you how many guests at our wedding came over to us throughout the night to tell us how amazing the music and atmosphere was. They were all obsessing over the DJ. Eli the DJ and Yoav Entertainment absolutely made my New Years Eve party the best ever! He knew alll the perfect music for our age group and got everyone at the party up and dancing. He was extremelly professional, arrived on time and brought all the correct equipment and also an incredible set of lights that added so much to the ambiance. This past November we made a Bat Mitzvah for our daughter. We hired Yoav to DJ. We went to see him perform at another party and my daughter immediately loved it. Yoav has great energy and is very professional. The MC that we saw was not available for us but Yoav made sure to get another MC that ended up being even more perfect for our party. He brought two MC's that were amazing Hip Hop dancers and made the evening full of energy and fun for the kids and adults.
