The front desk is always friendly and the yoga teachers I've taken always have the most calming and soothing voices. You can rent a mat and towel and they offer complimentary hand towels to wipe your sweat. You WILL sweat, so wear your skimpy clothes or plan to take your shirt off and just don a sport bra for the ladies. Bring water and a yoga mat towel. Plenty of parking available.

My body adapts to the heaters in the studio just fine and the heat makes me detox and sweat out all the bad toxins. I like to bring my water bottle to class but limit the amount of drinking while in your studio. Personally, I like to hydrate before and after class. I like how each instructor has a different style of heat to spice up any of the classes offered. And there are many classes offered which help the people who do not have a 9-5 job. One thing I wish was better was the spacing! It's a very teeny weeny studio and some classes I can't properly stretch enough because I feel I might bump into the person next to me! The instructor for the night, Tamira I believe, was great! She helps correct you. For someone who is rusty on position names and correct posture, she was helpful doing certain positions close to me. The room is quaint and I enjoy the close knit family feeling of the studio. The heat is at the perfect temperature and the air is not so heavy I can't breathe. There's also a humidifier on to compliment the heat. Overall, very good first hot yoga experience. Will be coming back.

When I walked in, the front desk person completely ignored me until I said something and when I was in the middle of said conversation, she turned and started talking to someone else. I felt that it was completely inappropriate. I also took the all-levels class, but like others have said, this was not for beginners whatsoever. A few girls were just so unfriendly and rude, so I just never came back. Yoga is not a competitive sport and I was not welcome from the beginning. The instructors are fantastic and helpful, but I just felt awkward. This would be a great studio if you are a previous dancer or gymnast of have done yoga you're entire life. But, that isn't me. Also, no mirrors so you can't look at yourself to fix your form, that bothered me. I use the mirrors in other studios so I can make necessary adjustments. The studio is VERY small and you are essentially right up on top of everyone else. Just wasn't my favorite experience ever.

Evening classes as well as daytime. Instructors are attentive and interested in helping you achieve your goals. Didn't get the last star because the studio is small and some classes are overcrowded. Also, I understand the value of doing yoga in a hot room but this isn't hot yoga it's Vinyasa. There are no air conditioners so in the summer in South Florida it gets pretty hot in there. This is not uncommon in yoga studios. The thought is that the warm room helps relax your muscles and prevents cramping. Some students will even ask instructors to put on the heaters which is too crazy for me. The good news is that they usually prop the door open so at least you get some outside air. Overall this is the best yoga studio around and the quality of instruction more than makes up for the lack of air conditioning.

The check in desk is where I was greeted by the owner Susan! She offers yoga mats & towels for a very small fee. I noticed some super cute clothing and jewelry for sale. While I waited to sign in I glanced over to my right...... I enjoyed the lovely white curtains as they caught the wind, blowing in and out. The actual studio was like being in a retreat away from all of the hustle and bustle of the real world. The floors, the inspirational quote on the wall & the basic/simple ambiance! The class was enjoyable & the stretches felt really good! Susan was fabulous! She definitely interacts around the class to ensure this newbie was doing it right! I felt comfortable and proud that I was doing this! At the close of class i will mention that she placed nice cool cloths lightly sprayed with lavender across our eyes as we lay there absorbing all of the positive vibes that surrounded us. Very nice touch as I do LOVE my essential oils!!! Her studio was very clean & I definitely noticed all of the love & passion that was put into creating this wonderful space! In the year that I have…read moremoved up from Miami, it hasn't been easy to find a studio that just felt right in every way; now that I have PS in my life, I feel like I have found a sanctuary, some peace of mind amongst the chaos. The studio offers a great deal of classes every day, and now they have added two late night (8pm) classes during the week that are perfect for my more often than not crazy schedule. I've taken classes with 4 of the instructors so far, and they all have been absolutely wonderful. I have been particularly addicted to the Yin classes, since a bout of anxiety a few months ago made me realize I needed to slow down my pace a little and let go. Of all the studios I've been to in Broward and Palm Beach, I honestly feel that PS is the best there is out there. The energy and vibe of the location, the genuine care that each instructor gives all their students, and of course the variety of options for all levels and different styles of practice; all of this, and that intangible je ne sais quoi makes PS Yoga Studios #1 in my book. It was exactly what I wanted! So many squats...(still sore 2 days later ) I've signed up again for a class on Wednesday. I also purchased a matching workout outfit when I left. They have the cutest items! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. It's always intimidating walking into a new studio and a new workout you've never done. It was judgment free and some of the regulars just started talking to us right away. When the class ended they handed us a nice cool towel with lavender and a cute little bag with bath salts to take home

They gave a little more instruction and started with some slower moves which is nice for the newbies. My legs were SHAKING during the bar portion. My mom liked it so much she's thinking about going back for another class. They offer a free week for locals which is nice. Parking was easy. Studio was nice looking and very clean. Check in and instructor we're both super friendly.
