Specific thing to enjoy but I like the news on the tv because I don't see much news anymore. Music is usually decent, but I usually have headphones in so I can't say that it's always a hit. Lots of parking in the lot. Conveniently located near Walmart to grab groceries on the way home after a workout. Last time I was there, I thought I lost my airpods. I called and the staff looked in the cubbies right away for me and left a note regarding my loss. I found them later and called back to advise and someone else picked up saying they saw the note and they were just going to go looking for them for me, too! This boutique gym is extremely clean. As soon as I was done using a machine or weights there was someone there ready to clean. Machines are new and well kept. They have a boutique store with clothes and food, supplements, etc. Anything you need to make your workout the best. There is also a room for classes. Unfortunately we did not attend as they were limited during the holidays. We did have a protein shake every time we were in. Heads up, they are pricey. We will return when we come into town.

The facility is basic, no tanning beds, Sauna is extra and it's a 'retired person's schedule for classes', no classes after 5pm. I wanted a two day pass and was told that wasn't possible because of their computers so I bought a three day pass for $25. However, that Saturday, Sunday and Monday I had to take care of the same friend that I was going to the gym with - he hurt his back and could literally not walk or drive so I played nursemaid gladly. When I approached the front desk person she said that she would work with me since I had extenuating circumstances. I came back a day later to find my code didn't work. When I spoke to her again, she said, "I can't help you unless you buy a membership for $150 for a membership. I want to add I am currently unemployed so that $25 could have been a $1000 to me, but I really really wanted to work out. This gym IS NOT WORTH IT. The door system is down so much, it shouldn't be listed as a 24/7 gym. My friend has had at least two instances on the weekends that the door system is down and there is no contact phone number to get help. If the owner is such a 'standup' person, she needs to rethink her business model or get new employees that can take care of people. I've been to boutique gyms before and NOTHING about this gym warrants their attitude towards the customers and the actual equipment at the gym. AND the last time I was there in the evening, a member brought out a boom box the size of Manhattan and blasted the gym with ear shattering, wall shaking music such that I couldn't even hear my own music in my AirPods IN MY EARS!!!f My advice for this place - STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY!!!! THEIVES!!!!

Usually you have to go through a manager of a manager of a manager if you have complaints or questions and with this gym, you can go directly to her. The gym has what looks like brand new machines and the pads aren't worn on anything which is a plus, and the free weights go up to 150lbs, I think, it could be higher (but who's lifting that much?). I like the fact they sell t-shirts and it's located in the heart of downtown which is great because after working out, you can grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant. I also like the fact there is so many cameras because you can never be too safe in terms of security. There's an aerobics room and a Crossfit room which is pretty cool and the gym is lined with mirrors which is great so you can work on your form and see where your faults are when lifting.

We came yesterday and I genuinely can't stop thinking about how special it was…read more I called last minute in the afternoon after my little one woke up from his nap, not really expecting much -- but they fit us in that same day. From the moment we arrived, Ray made us feel so welcome. He had the horse ready for us, walked us through everything, and was so patient and attentive making sure my little one felt safe and comfortable the whole ride. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does. What we didn't expect was everything that came after. We got to explore the petting zoo, meet the farm animals, and then a staff member came over and introduced us to a baby goat that was only a few days old, my little one's face was absolutely priceless. And then the moment that made this visit truly unforgettable, while my son was laughing away on the horse shaped tire swing, I glanced over and noticed a wobbly little goat behind us. Turns out we were witnessing a mama goat giving birth right there in front of us. Completely unplanned, totally magical. My little one got a nature lesson he'll probably never forget. This place has the most wonderful energy and the staff clearly care deeply about both the animals and their guests. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

We booked a two-hour trail ride at the beginning of our trip and had such an amazing experience…read morethat we ended up booking a second ride before our vacation was over! I'm an experienced rider and my husband is a beginner, and our guide, Dave, did a fantastic job matching us with horses (and a mule!) that fit our individual experience levels. He also tailored the trail and ride to our abilities, which made the experience fun and memorable for both of us. For our second ride, it had been raining quite a bit, so Dave took us on a one-hour route where the trails were dry enough and safe for the horses. We really appreciated that their safety and well-being came first, and we still had an amazing time. Both rides were such a highlight of our trip. Thank you, Dave, for being such a great guide and for making us feel so welcome in Blue Ridge! We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in the area

After driving 4 miles on a windy/steep road you arrive at the barn. There is an intro with instructions before you get on the horse but it is very faced-paced and there is no chance to "meet" your horse or practice your skills before taking off. Our guide quickly introduced herself but we didn't get any interaction with her, it was all fast-paced. The guide did remind us throughout the ride of relevant instructions. I did the 2 hour trail ride, it was a good amount of time and very peaceful. My horse was Redjack and he was the last in line of a group of 7. He liked going at his own pace but would respond when I instructed him. Being last in the line made it difficult to hear everything the guide said. Before we attempted trotting she gave us quick instructions and I felt very insecure once the horses took off on a trot. Once we got back to the barn the next group was getting ready to go out, it seemed kind of like an assembly line. The check-out afterwards felt awkward where the guide took our payment, she did not act appreciative when I left a tip. They have a sign at the checkout where you can get a discount if you leave a review so I would suspect this has inflated their amount of 5-star reviews. Overall the ride was nice but I did not leave feeling like I had a good customer service experience or got any interaction/knowledge from the guide or interaction with the horse other than riding it.
