I was very disappointed to discover one of those people was the teacher. The other girl, I'm assuming she worked there? Put her mat directly on top of mine as class was starting so she could see herself in the mirror and I had to move so I didn't get kicked in the face, and there was plenty of space, but I guess she really needed to see herself take breaks the entire class. The instruction was not good. There was no firm correction, the cues were all over the place. In the middle of class the instructor stopped and asked everyone what they were doing later. I come to yoga to be present so I can carry that with me, I don't want to think about what's happening later when I'm here to work on being present in the moment. I went back several more times because I signed up for the new student special and it was all the same. The community that regularly attends all like to gossip and they LOVE when the teachers ask what they are doing later. It's safe to say there is no enlightenment happening at this studio. If you are looking for a studio to gossip and or be treated as if you don't exist and are NOT interested in strengthening your practice or clearing your mind, this is the studio for you! If you want to go somewhere with a high vibe that is welcoming and will help you grow your practice keep looking because this studio is not it.

I'm a reformer Pilates girl, so the Xformer was a bit of an adjustment for me. But all of the instructors are super awesome in helping me use the Xformer properly. The best part? The playlists! It's so much fun and really helps you get into the zone. The whole facility is super clean with lockers and a great bathroom with everything you need before or after class. There's tons of free parking too-- making it super easy and convenient. I loved my experience so much that I even bought a pair of biker shorts with the cut + flow logo and new grip socks as a little souvenir. I can't wait to come back to Cut + Flow!

Ive personally only taken 1 Xformer and a handful of yoga classes. I like that there's a variety of instructors with different styles. One thing to note is that it doesn't get hot enough in yoga to my liking- temperature also depends on each instructor. The locker area and bathroom/showers are also pristine! Cut and Flow sells grippy socks and lululemon clothes in the front. Don't forget to bring your own grippy socks to your first Xformer class, or you can purchase one at the studio. Their new client special is a great deal. One unlimited month for $99 which includes a free pair of grippy socks and free mat/towel rental. As of 9/11/24 there's also Xformer instructor in training classes which cost $15 per class! A drop in Xformer class typically cost $35.

She encouraged all of us to be playful and learn to understand and use our bodies better. She took time to listen to any history of injury, and tailored instruction to those that needed it, and offered helpful insights. You park out front, then walk through the breezeway, the turn right to take the stairs up to the studio. The front door is kinda around back from the main street, if that makes sense. The studio was not heated when I went. There are great props (straps and blocks are high quality and in good shape). A great place to make progress and celebrate all you are and can be capable of.

In fact, I've got range-of-motion issues in my upper body, so the thought of trying to be all athletic - in front of other people no less - was intimidating. I'd heard that yoga could eventually help me move without pain, so I sucked it up and started trying out studios. Of the many I've been to since, there are 3 that stand out. Yoga in the Center is one such standout. The studio itself is very spa-like in feel. It's all light walls, stone, & dark wood, with plenty of natural light. They have two practice rooms - a main room and a smaller one for prenatal and kid's yoga. I've only taken classes in the big room - it's very spacious, and the studio has a lot of props available for students to use as needed. It's lovely and comfortable. For me, what really makes the place are the teachers. I have been to studios where the teachers seemed frustrated with my inability to get myself into perfect alignment. I get it - I look like an amazon woman, therefore I *should* be strong enough to hold the pose. If my shoulders won't move that way, well, I should just try harder, and maybe one day I'll get it. Here, the teachers are encouraging, and helpful. The very first class I took with Carrie, she noticed me struggling and popped over to offer me a prop and an alternate version of the pose. I've learned so much from her. I've found that everyone here is really great at teaching to the whole class. When their schedule says All-levels, that's what they mean. The teacher will show different expressions of the pose so everyone can choose the version that works with their body - no judgment. Do be aware - Mill Creek Town Center is a busy place, and it can take a bit to find a parking spot in the evenings or on weekends. The studio is well worth planning in a little extra parking time. =)

Sweaty hot chicks in yoga pants that ACTUALLY get used for yoga? Do people bring in their own adorable mats? Will I look like a fool? Confidence, right ;) Guess what? It was freaking awesome! I was instantly comfortable with the instructor Cecelia (Ce). She is so knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. I never for an instant felt awkward. Only the sweetest people go to Include Yoga & Exhale Pilates from what I can tell. The studio has a great vibe overall! Whatever your fitness level or goal I'm certain you will get the most out of your time at Include Yoga. Seriously. Go in and take a class or two. There are tons of options for yoga in the greater Seattle area and I had such a hard time making a choice. Probably why your here too. Well, I work in Seattle and live in Kirkland yet I picked a place in Bothell ;) That's because of key words in Yelp reviews at the studio where Include Yoga is- Exhale Pilates. A real down to earth place where people can get a great workout.

My view on Yoga and exercise have taken a 180 turn, and that is due to Ce and her classes. Ce is so patient and makes sure that I am in the right positions; I have found that I have gained flexibility and that I'm never bored with the Yoga classes. Cecilia works hard to make every class different and focus on different areas of the body. Not only have I lost weight and gained muscle tone, but Ce is helping me correct bad posture, and strengthen muscles I have never used. Cecilia gives special care and attention to every client, and her friendly and calming nature makes her classes somewhere I want to be; I am enjoying exercise for the first time. I really like that Cecilia uses many different formats and props in her classes, such as TRX, exercise ball, Tye4, etc. The classes are smaller so that you get personal attention and can easily see her demonstrate each pose and exercise. I highly recommend IncludeYoga, and also love that there is online signups and that you pay by the class.
