I wrote a review on Google Maps already, but wanted to write another one here! The studio is awesome. Both the workers and the teachers are so kind. They make it really easy to get started! I was initially on a 4 pack, but enjoyed my workout so much I decided to get an unlimited membership. I've taken Slow Flow, Mobility, Restore, and Sculpt & Flow and all of them are amazing for the body. Since I've written about my experience on Google Maps already, I'll write about my new one today when I took a Sculpt & Flow class with Mary recently and she was so nice! She saw me and recognized that I haven't taken a class with her yet, and she spent a lot of time before class to talk to me about what to expect and also encouraged me a lot, since I was really nervous. She even checked in on me after class too! Her attention to her students and knowing them by name makes it feel so much like a community. Also shoutout to the front desk who I approached and asked about Sculpt & Flow before the class too. Before class while waiting for the studio to be cleaned she also spoke with me about what weight to choose, and even went to the back with me and helped me find what I need. I haven't done yoga in years much less in a class format, but the community and everyone makes it so much easier to get into it :) read more

Another one of my favorite YogaSix Studios!!! Reason being of how big the studio is. Love that when I first came here, I felt very welcomed :) Took a Pilates inspired yoga sculpt class with Cassie and boy was that class FULL. She really pumped you up and worked you out. Yoga sculpt classes at YogaSix studios start off with about 15 minutes of yoga, 30-45 minutes of HIIT workout and shavasana towards the end. Other instructors I've taken a yoga sculpt class with were with Stephanie and Bonnie. Stephanie's yoga sculpt class was a 6am class and I really enjoyed it because it was a good work out, very straightforward. Bonnie's class was at 4:30pm and I will never forget we got that room so hot inside the mirrors fogged. She worked us out, and it was so motivating when others around you work out just as hard. I love working out at YogaSix so much!! Parking out in front, and parking garage nearby. Love the clean, bougie vibes the studio gives off. The blue gives calming aura. read more

I just took the intro classes and then signed up for a membership. I've been to many yoga studios and this one has the right balance. Extremely clean with very organized classes and equipment - there's thoughtful touches like cards that you can put down to let the instructor know if you want adjustments and an essential oil towel at the end. The classes have instructors that help maintain a calm environment while still challenging you. read more

Two different restore classes with two different instructors and both were amazing (Bonnie and Sylvia). The studio is large, and I like how props are kept in a separate area. Only thing to note is that parking can be challenging but the free parking garage is located around the corner. read more

I've taken a number of the Signature-Hot classes with instructor Jill. I'm not super experienced with yoga but I've found the classes to be accessible and doable, even for an old rugby player with bad knees. Jill moves at a brisk but maintainable pace and is helpful with alternative poses as needed. The studio itself is more corporate than hippie- it's clean with mood lighting and a great sound system, which is different from "earthier" patchouli-scented studios of yesteryear. There are bathrooms and lockers, mats and towels for rent, a water refill station, and cold towels and mints at the end of the class. Overall a relaxing and approachable way to get your yoga in. read more

I enjoyed coming to this studio -- it was clean, organized, and the instructor was great for the sculpt and flow class that I took. It feels a lot cleaner and less hectic than other studios like CorePower. I knocked one star off because I noticed some inconsistency with the other locations I've taken classes at (Cupertino, Saratoga, and Campbell) -- they charge you for towels and don't have the chilled eucalyptus towels at the end, which is a reason I generally prefer Yogasix over CorePower. I would prefer to return to the other locations for the complimentary towels. read more

I really enjoy these classes. There are some instructors that are more intense than others. I really enjoy Cassie's classes, she incorporates hot Pilates movements in her class which are hard to find in this area. I give her a 5/5. Friendly reminder to bring your mats. They charge to borrow one of theirs. Also, a towel because it gets pretty sweaty and they don't provide those either. Only cold face towels once class is complete. Feedback that I'd give (really hope this gets taken into consideration): please don't allow attendees to leave class early. People tend to leave during the final resting set and it's really disruptive. Takes away from the relaxing cool down from the intense class. The orange scented towel that they hover over you once you're resting is my favorite! read more

How would my dream yoga studio be designed? Well organized, clean practice room with plentiful space, towels to wash equipment with, and 95 degrees max. The bathrooms would have deodorant and be well stocked with other items that can be needed for females. There would be cubbies and also lockers to store your items. There would be breath mints, a filtered water station, and cold towels ready after hot yoga class. The staff would be extremely welcoming. The teachers would be compassionate and helpful. There would be a welcome sign indicating the type of class and accessories needed. There would be a card to sign if you wanted adjustment or didn't. Well YogaSix Mountain View is a dream yoga studio. It has all these and more. I came to test out three classes and signed up for unlimited membership! Thanks to Kirsten, Elija, and Suman were super helpful. I took the slow flow class on Sunday with Jeanette and really enjoyed the practice. It was quite a packed class but I still felt so relaxed after. The pace was perfect and I really liked the playlist. The room was set to 85 degrees which was perfect, not too hot. I did break a sweat throughout the flow. The studio is very nice and clean with lots of cubbies for you to store your belongings. read more

ive always loved heated rooms for yoga and i love yogasix for offering all sorts of classes in different levels of heat. theres something for everyone! while this is not my favorite location (i prefer the sunnyvale one because of the instructors, their bolster covers and towels), i do find it convenient that it is walkable to eateries, grocery stores and other fitness and beauty studios read more

First the good: Nice people, nice instructors, big classes, nice rooms and equipment, Lots of classes per day all over the bay. Second the atmosphere: You have to like loud music and the instructor on a loud speaker. For some, this would be different than chimes and a soft voice. Next the Bad: I signed up for the introduction to Yoga package which seemed like a reasonable price; however, what they do not inform you about is that cancelation is an additional 30 days; so be prepared to pay for a normal month ~$85 on top of your intro. I think this should have been written in huge letters on their chart and they should have verbally told me about this. No. I was really shocked when they charged my credit card. I have requested to see this in writing, but they have not provided it yet. Also in the Bad category, the HEAT. My first class was a hot yoga class and boy was the heat turned up, and it gets hotter with a room filled with bodies. I chose not to do that again. However, even the standard yoga classes are at about 90 degrees F. This is not what I signed up for. Yoga rooms should be room temp of 73-75F. I happed to be below the heater vent, and can attest that the air coming out was above 90F. I had to leave the class it was so uncomfortable under that heater vent. I happen to believe that Yoga is for stretching and a bit of strength and for good balance, and a connection between mind and body. Yoga is not a jazzercise class. Just because you are experiencing sweating, does not mean you are getting a work out. I can get a better work out by running three miles around the golf course. Yoga is not that, and should not be that. So there you have it. The good and the bad and the hidden on Yoga Six. read more

I've always enjoyed yoga but now I LOVE Yoga after finding YogaSix in Mt. View. Nothing else gives me the high I get, mind, body and soul. The room is always clean, has beautiful lighting for ambiance, amazing sound system to enhance a multi-sensory yoga experience and heated perfectly for optimal performance. The studio is a great place for teachers to expand their knowledge but also super welcoming to students who are new to yoga. They have excellent teachers with different methods and approaches and nice front desk staff. It's a true example of a friendly, neighborhood yoga studio, with no ego or pretense. read more

This is such a great studio! I got an awesome deal on an unlimited 2 week pass and now have taken 6 classes so far - Hot, Sculpt and Flow and Slow Flow - all are challenging but won't kill ya if you like me just starting out. I even got my two older teens to try it and then they wanted those 2 week passes too. Barbara and Bonnie are still my fav teachers here but honestly they are all top notch and their front office staff are super kind, happy to help and answer questions. I'm a huge fan of Yoga6 Mountain View! I have been their customer for about 2 years. Love love the variety of the 6 classes. My favorite being Y6 Slow Flow (slow but not easy, just deeper into the poses) and Y6 Hot. I am 5'2" and a bit on the heavier side and am working to get the flexibility and strength to work my way to the Y6 Power and Y6 Sculpt and Flow classes which also offer you a more strenuous experience with some light weights and alternating stretches and burpees. My husband was brand new to Yoga and he loved the Y6101 classes to start off. Lastly, the Y6 Restore class is a very smooth, slow and deep stretching and relaxing class which feels like a massage experience and is very good on those days when you are sore or not quite ready for a more intense session. The Yoga room is very clean and always smells fresh and welcoming. This is a huge plus compared to ANY other place I've used including the Bikram and Yoga /Pilates places where it reeks of sweat and wetness. Every instructor wipes the floor clean after EVERY class and at the end of the session there is a towel with lavender or orange flavor that is fanned over you as you are in final resting position (Shav Asana). This is super soothing and feels great. Upon exiting the class after a hot Yoga session you also can get a cool scented towel to freshen up before you leave. The instructors are awesome, they provide instructions that help you correct the poses with the slight tips on moving your knee more out to align with the ankle or pull your tail bone in for straighter spine etc to really fine tune and make sure you are having the best form. There is an OPTIONAL hands-on instruction card per person that can be turned to Yes or No and informs the instructor to touch you and give you those slight corrections. The front desk staff are friendly and efficient. The business is Very well automated with the ability to manage your credits on the Phone App and check-in/sign up for a session. The equipment is in good shape and kept clean and odor free- Blocks, mats if you have forgotten, Straps, weights, Pillow (Restore) etc. Love all the instructors there and I also have some of my favorites, shout out to - Aina, Barbara, Bonnie, Tatiana, Zeny, Zsofia, Audrey, Barabara and I'm sure I'm leaving out a few... I I have avoided yoga for so many years for so many reasons. I know you didn't ask but here they are: #1 Full ADHD, so sitting still seems like a chore #2 I am so inflexible. I can barely touch my toes #3 I can't even stand on 1 foot for more than 10 seconds, so balance is also not something I was blessed with My friend convinced me to go to one class with her. Thirty days and eight classes later, I am eating my words. My first class was with Bonnie, who is one of those salt-of-the-earth people who genuinely cares about every person she comes in contact with. She made me feel so comfortable. She made everyone in the class feel so relaxed and, no matter the level you're at. All the instructors are excellent. Everyone at the front desk is beyond helpful. YogaSix is a franchise, this studio is located at located at San Antonio Rd, Mtn View. We have been to a few classes. Two main drawbacks for us, the heated rooms and class size. PROS - The studio is well-managed, great welcoming staff. - Instructors are very good. - App to reserve easy to use, shows how many spaces remain in class. - The studio is very clean, with protocols in place to keep props clean. - Air filtration system - The props are well-organized. CONS - The website states "We offer 6 different class types from hot and powerful to slow and mindful." I took that to mean the slow and mindful classes were not hot however 86 degrees was too hot for me. - Classes at full capacity are too crowded, especially in a warm room. - Not a show stopper but the Parking near the studio is limited, but the garage is free (the open parking near Trader Joe's in the adjacent shopping center is the the best option). Allow time to get parked. Bottom line, if you enjoy warm yoga, this might be a great option for you. If they reduced class size would up it to 4 stars. read more

My favorite has been the slow flow and hot yoga classes. The sets are great and the music / vibes are wonderful. Over the last half year I stuck to doing one to two classes a week and I've noticed a big improvement in my core and static strength. Kudos to y6 read more

I joined YogaSix to get back to yoga after a surgery. The studio is clean, organized and feels intimate. Their one week trial was great at trying out different classes. All their instructors are great and put you at ease. I bought a class pack after the trial ended which I like for the flexibility it offers. Their app is also really good and easy to book classes on. I also love the scented towel that they wave at the end of the class if you choose. It definitely adds to the overall sensory experience. I have tried 'easy' classes such as Yoga 101, slow flow and some of the harder ones such as sculpt and flow. I sweated copiously in the latter so definitely felt it was harder than the others! read more
