I definitely recommend this place. I attended almost for a year, sadly I had to move from California. Thats a great place to have fun, distract yourself from daily routine and same time improve health. Improve body resilience, flexibility, balance, and weight. Also you will find friends. Many different instructors with different style all super friendly and knowledgeable. If you never did yoga before don't be scared to come and try. Yoga teaches know we all on different levels. At Yoga Six, they really pack everyone in. It's difficult to drop and relax because there's either a foot or hand of the surrounding practitioners constantly disrupting my space. It feel like they care more about getting the memberships than they do about the quality of the experience. If they only removed seven spots per class, it would be a much better experience. Vanessa is very knowledge and she gives clear verbal instructions during the practice. I've been doing yoga of different varieties for over 20 years and am planning to get my teacher certification. Some data: The studio is modern, clean. Parking is easy if you go under the first floor of the building. The music is sometimes modern /top 40. The room can be heated or not , depending on the class you choose. Most of the poses are described in plain english. The pricing is comparable to other studios in our area, with a $10 first class offer. My personal experience: Pros: Probably the cleanest, most sanitized of all the studios I've tried post-Covid. The front desk staff is pleasant and helpful. Cons: I am an avid hip hop/R&B concert go-er and I might blast it in my car...but I don't want to hear it during my practice. With 20 years of yoga, I've developed a preference for the therapeutic, focusing on form. My favorite teachers are those who set an expectation that yoga is about both the mind and body. That's not been my experience here so I can't say that is studio is a good fit for what I'm looking for. The teachers are nice but I think they can do a better job managing the class. The clientele can be surprisingly .... obtuse? (that's my way of nicely saying that ppl who hit others with their yoga mat rushing to class or are aggressive towards others aren't ppl who I want to take class with). As a future instructor, I plan on setting the expectation that we treat each other with respect and if we can't do that, at least an awareness that this is a group class, not a private lesson. . I think there's room for combining the modern with the ancient aspects of yoga and treating others the way we want to treated... might need to be spelled out here. read more

YogaSix offers some of the best Yoga classes I've ever taken. I like the variety of sessions they offer. My favorite is Y6 Hot Yoga because the flow of the class once you get the hang of it is addicting. Recently I've appreciated Y6 Restore after an ankle injury as most of the exercises are floor poses. The dark ambiance, music and scented towel at the end create a very Zen-like ambience, perfect for practicing yoga. The staff all seem to enjoy working / teaching there. The instructors are fantastic and encouraging. The environment feels very inclusive as well; they try to learn everyone's name and ensure that new yogis understand where equipment is and what to expect. read more

This is an excellent yoga studio! The instructors are knowledgeable, respectful and kind. I have always loved Bonnie and Barbara's classes. The lighting in the studio is really well done with overall low lights with some color variations. It has a warm glow in the room which makes it feel inviting and relaxing. Found this place through ClassPass and went here for a Memorial Day session. Sofia was fantastic. The session felt so good- nice stretch throughout the body. It was a room temperature session but still felt a bit more warm because more people showed up on the holiday. If you're a first timer, plan to arrive a few minutes earlier as you'll fill out a registration form. read more

This was my first time at the Mountain View Yoga Six location, and I did the yoga sculpt class. I arrived early and the front desk gal was super sweet and helpful! I got to meet Alison, the instructor and she showed me where all the equipment was and asked if I had any questions. She was great! The class itself was awesome. It started off with a slow flow warmup and then we used light weights in a HIIT workout for the rest of the class. It was intense, but such a great workout. I have never sweat so much before! The room for this class is heated to about 84/85 degrees, and it's the perfect temp. 10/10 would recommend if you'd like a cardio HIIT class mixed with a little bit of yoga! read more

I really enjoy the Yogasix Mountain View. Its location is very convenient, next to a major gym and retailers. The classes offered at the studio cover different styles of practices. I am learning various forms from Karina and other teachers. The teaching is very smooth, clear, energetic, and attentive. Everyone was really nice, it was a welcoming atmosphere and Bonnie was amazing (and funny!) I'm beyond a beginner but you can go at your own pace. If your comfortable with it, she will stop by and help you and make small adjustments so your getting it done the correct way. This is an amazing studio! read more

I've done the trial 3-pack of classes and have a good impression of the studio. The Power yoga with Aida was my favorite, but the hot yoga, and sculpt & flow were both good classes as well. It's a matter of style and preference really. All three teachers were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The classes have background music, which I think is more fun than a silent environment. They're also in a heated room, so be prepared to sweat. read more

I really love the Restore Yoga, Sculpture Yoga, and a lot more sessions offered here. I got the unlimited single studio membership, which enables me to attend as many yoga sessions as the studio offers daily (including weekends and holidays!) I by far enjoy the sessions offered by Zsofia the most, she is very inspiring. And Bonnie and the other staff here are very kind, dedicated, and resourceful.
