It takes forever to get a response to an email, even for urgent matters regarding credits that I have paid in advance that were frozen due to medical reasons which are no longer available on the app -even though they were promised- Even my phone messages have gone unanswered. It's really really frustrating to feel ignored as a paying client. I'll be finishing up my remaining credits and moving to another studio that values better communication and customer service. I wouldn't recommend this studio. It's a shame because it was close by, but the way the studio operates has made the experience stressful rather than enjoyable and I won't be returning.

I'm happy to share in a series of reviews my humble opinions as I try to find the right fit. I tried out Debi Rebel via a Groupon for a 2 week unlimited pass (personally I went 5x). Since then I've gone multiple times over the past 2 years. Normally the classes are $$$ though comparable to rates in the area. They offer multiple classes and I tried the Yin, Hot and Warm yoga. The flow is similar to the flow at RSM Yoga, Melt Yoga and Sumits Yoga (in AZ). With one large room and one small room they seem to rotate classes in each room to allow for proper cleaning. As compared to other hot yoga, this is REALLY HOT. Before the workout even started I was already sweating. The staff were really kind and welcoming.

Since I wasn't familiar with the pose names, the first few classes felt very fast paced and a little overwhelming. The instructors were kind, welcoming, and supportive, though they did not often provide poses example or individual posture corrections. Most of the time, I learned by watching the people around me and following along. I realized that the regular classes follow the same practice each time. They also offer Yin and Sculpt classes, but there are only a few of those on the weekly schedule. After attending four or five classes, I became more familiar with the poses and flow by memorization. I do wish there were more class options with different levels of difficulty and a wider variety of poses. As a beginner, it felt a bit left out being in classes filled with experienced students. I'm not sure whether this is a pro or a con, but they are very strict about staying for the full 60 minute class. One time I saw a few people leave early, so I did the same, and the instructor reminded me that anyone planning to leave before class ends should let the teacher know in advance. Personally, I felt a little uncomfortable with this policy, especially in that situation when I have to leave to use the restroom. Students are generally expected to remain in the room for the entire session. If you need a break, you can rest on your mat, but leaving the room is not allowed. However, I agree that it courages our commitment to the practice and to maintaining a focused class environment. The heat is intense. I've seen some people sweat so much that there were actual puddles around their mats. I normally don't sweat very much, so hot yoga was a completely different experience for me. By the end of class, I felt like I had worked harder than in most other workouts and left feeling refreshed and energized. The studio itself is exceptionally clean, welcoming, and professionally run. Everyone was friendly, and I appreciated that there was no pressure to purchase a membership. All the staffs genuinely seemed to care about creating a positive experience. They remember my name and ask me on my feelings, which are very touching. Overall, I really enjoyed it and have a lot of respect for how professionally everything is managed. I only wish they had addition locations in Irvine or Lake Forest. They are doing awesome, and quality hot yoga studios are not always easy to find. I love this experience overall!!! Highly recommended.
