Andrei, instructor, was phenomenal! This is my first class and it was so good. I attended the Sculpt & Flow. I'm very new to yoga but it was the pace I like. Not too slow. After class was done, he passed out cold scented towel. It was so so refreshing after the sweaty workout. There is special oxygenated drinking water--Flowater dispenser. There are lockers to put your stuff outside of the class. Bring: - yoga mat or else you'll have to rent it. - water - sweat towel - nonslip yoga towel (optional) Most of the time depending on the class, the room is between 85-104 degrees Fahrenheit, I believe....but you can ask the instructor. There are weights and blocks and other yoga equipment in the door inside the classroom. There are different types of yoga classes you can attend with different exercises. There is plenty of parking in the parking garage or there is very limited...4 car parking on the side of the road. read more

When I started yoga here a year ago, everything was good, not perfect. I love most of these instructors who work hard and are dedicated to their work. After a year, everything changed. They stopped providing sanitary wipes and instead used smelly washcloths, even after washing. The bathroom's condition was not as clean as before. The floor felt sticky when you walked barefoot. It's time for me to look for a new place. read more

It was my first time at yoga ever and I tried the hot yoga class with my sister. We didn't know we had to bring a big towel and mini one they gave us some since we were new. Kristen was super helpful and gave me a lot of pointers and adjusted me a few times so my poses would be correct. The class was an hour and it was 105 degrees the entire time. It started off with some light stretches and then it got harder lol. I would definitely come back!!! The only thing I didn't like was how there's no parking lot right in front and you're force to park in the structure. read more

Very unfortunate, used to love coming to this place. They did not do a good job communicating to their clients that starting June 1st they will take no one in even if you're 1 minute late to class. They claim an email and text went out and I received neither. Beware as you will lose your credits on class pass. They should make 1st time exceptions but this is not the case. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back. Beware when booking your next class as they are not making any exceptions, even if this is your first time ever being late. A suggestion would be to have your yoga instructor share this as part of their announcements at the end of class so everyone gets this new policy and isn't blindsided. read more

Great clean facility- has lots of storage space (cubbies as well as locked storage). They have a restroom, but no showers that I've seen. They have a water refill station. Inside the heated studio, their props are all in the back behind the two doors inside their yoga room. They provide blocks, straps, weights, and bands. I've taken a few of their classes- I like that they offer a variety of classes. On the weekdays, they have more classes that cover morning and evenings. Every instructor has been great at providing verbal cues. I haven't seen too many hands on adjustments at this time, but could be due to covid precaution. Overall, I've enjoyed this new studio. They have ample parking and cubby space. They have marked spaces for each student that provides decent amount of room even if the class is full. Everyone seems respectful of each other space and is asked to clean all their props before putting them away. read more

I've been a member of this location since it opened. There's been management changes throughout the years. One manager took the studio down hill. The studio was messy, floors looked unclean, bathroom wasnt clean, towels were empty, among other things. Then came Blanche. She got things back on track. The studio was fresh again, floors weren't sticky, towels ready, studio was organized... But more than that, the studio changed into a community. It was fun with tons of events. Blanche was a rock that brought this place up. Unfortunately, shes been let go. Now the instructors are changing, the classes are changing and all these changes aren't the best, IMO. Whoever makes these decisions, I hope you're reading this. Maybe in the future, check with the members because we're impacted by these changes. Hopefully, your next manager comes close to Blanche and can keep this studio together. Really disappointed in losing Blanche. read more

I signed up for a trial membership not knowing they were committing me not sure how this is possible After communicating with them they said I signed an agreement but they could not furnish one nor did I have one in my email records as they claim now I have them using an outside agency to call me for this amount of money and they are emailing me it's an OK studio very small they don't have showers or anything in there vultures! read more

I'm sad to leave a 2 star rating for this Yoga Six, but as an regular practitioner of yoga, I feel this studio hardly earns its name as a yoga studio. It's more of a studio with workout classes. 90% of the schedule at this studio are Sculpt and Flow, during which is a fun class, but overall this studio lacks vinyasa flows/Power classes. Although they are very nice and friendly, the quality of the instructors/flow design at this studio is severely lacking. There is little to no flow in any of the classes I've taken with a variety of instructors here. Half the time the instructors will have you in one pose and clearly not know how to flow into the next pose, so they'll abruptly tell you to just sit down on the floor after being in something like mountain pose. They also randomly tell you to take a break and towel off in the middle of the classes. The Power classes are so incredibly easy compared to Power classes at other Yoga Sixes, but here you'll flow for ~5 minutes before they're telling the class to sit and take a break. It's very jarring and completely breaks the flow of class. Also, there is no challenge in the classes at this studio. They never work you up to challenging/advanced poses, which is really disappointing. I think I've only ever been in one class at this studio where they even worked us into warrior III, but there's never cues for binds or other more challenging balance poses. I would recommend this studio for people brand new to yoga, but there is 0 opportunity to improve your practice here if you practice regularly. I'm sad to cancel my membership after great experiences at other Yoga Sixes and try another studio that hopefully offers something more challenging. read more

I love YogaSix, the studio itself smells amazing like a spa thanks to the essential oils they diffuse. It's super clean. All of the staff and teachers are amazing. The classes themselves provide a variety of experiences depending on what you need that day you can take a yoga with weights that's more strengthening or a relaxing restorative class that makes you feel super zen. The classes all have some level of heat which help me with my flexibility and sweating out toxins. Everyone loves their water machine, the flowater I think it's called? Anyhow, I drink a ton more water on days that I get my yoga class in. Love that we have a YogaSix in the neighborhood read more

I signed up for 113.88 a month and on my 3rd class I thought i signed up for the 5:45 class but it was 5:30. I arrived at 5:35 thinking I was early and was told to hurry and get in class. There was a 5 min grace period. I asked for a mat because the 2 prior classes they provided one and she told me they charge 3.00 for mat use. I was frustrated because they never mentioned that charge to me prior. I left and the next day I get email stating they charged my credit card 15.00 for missing class!! Where did that come from? They neglected to mention that they charge 15.00 for any missed class. Bad business Yoga Six. Be upfront and state your policies. It's not the dollar amount but the principle of being dishonest by neglecting to mention these hidden costs. You've lost a great customer. read more

I really enjoyed practicing yoga here, I joined the membership since the grand opening. I like all the instructors and classes, especially Yoga power and yoga hot, which make you fully sweat out, great improving in skills. I can tell my muscle strengthening from every single class. Yesterday I got the privilege of trying one of Yoga Six's first classes now that they are open in Yorba Linda! The studio is in the brand new, beautiful Yorba Linda Town Center. (much needed for YL!) We took the 5:30pm sculpt class taught by Paula. The heat index was about 95-98 degrees. My friend and I loved it- it was challenging, fast paced, and the weights add another element to the yoga class. Something really cool about Yoga Six is that they offer moisture wicking hand towels for you to use for the class as well as yoga mat towels which have rubber beads on the bottom to help it not slide when you place over your yoga mat. I have had a yoga towel for years and love it! I would recommend one for anyone who loves hot yoga. Today I took the "hot" class at 4:15pm, which hovers just above 100 degrees. Georgia taught it. It was more introductory because she didn't always use the traditional sanskrit yoga pose names, but helped those who may be newer to get the poses down first, then she used the Sanskrit names. She moved at a slower pace which was nice to hold the poses for longer. One thing I would say was a con, was the walls in the studio may need some padding to absorb the sound- I may have missed them, but don't think I saw any. The 2 classes both had pop music playing and it got loud at times. In addition, I myself am more of a traditional meditation/yoga music type of yoga fan. Upbeat pop music tends to distract me and it's not as relaxing when you are trying to be zen and do all these poses. Although it really fits well when you are doing the sculpt portion of the sculpt class! I wish more teachers would use more meditation type music! The trend though lately seems to be more upbeat music in most hot yoga studios. (Even some regular yoga studios) Overall, I really love Yoga Six and the employees and teachers are all very sweet. I wish I could afford a monthly membership right now, because it really has that small studio community vibe to it. So hopefully soon! read more

As an avid yogi, coming to Yoga Six for the first time, it was such a great experience! Instantly loved the community and vibe, the variety of classes, and Carol made sure to get me comfortable with all that the studio has to offer to ensure I had a positive experience each time. She's always so warm and friendly, love seeing her and the rest of the staff when I come in. The studio is fully stocked w mats, props, weights (for the Sculpt classes) and various towels to use for either your yoga mat or to wipe off after a sweaty session. Not to mention cooling towels after the class! So in love! Since my first time, I have made it my home studio and always felt amazing leaving after a session. So glad my first class was free as I wont be back. This is not yoga, different color lights techno music all the way through bad sequencing, no flow. At one point lights turned red with an industrial gothic music i thought i was in the pit of he$$. Instructor had about zero personality and doesnt care what students are doing, bad demo of poses. All around bad. If your a long practicing yogi like me this is not the place. read more

Walters sculpt class is so challenging yet you go at your own pace, and relax at the end. He is a master at opening up areas of the anatomy to sculpt. I took Walter's Power and Slow Flow classes and I loved them both. The Power class is always fun and challenging with unexpected flows. The slow flow class was relaxing. It started with a few minutes of meditation with calming music in the background and Walter's voice lowered to a whisper to match the atmosphere. I would highly recommend his classes if you want to deepen your practice. read more

I had a lot of high hopes for this studio, as it is new and less than a mile from me. I was hesitant to sign up since I'm limited to evening classes since I have a small child and it's the only time I'm able to practice. I was told that there would be evening classes at least "five or six days a week" and assured there would be "plenty" of higher level classes that would suit my preference. So I signed up as a "founding member" at the rate of $110 (guaranteed rate for the lifetime of my continued membership). Once they opened, there were only three evening classes, only one of which was a power class. Once I took a class, I went to speak with Lauren up front and explained that what I was promised when I signed up was not delivered. She asked what they could do to make the situation right but also said they are taking feedback and will modify the schedule for the future. I asked if they would be willing to give me a credit for a few classes until more classes opened up (for the $110 I paid) so that I wouldn't be paying $110 for the ONE class I took. After speaking with the manager she told me they could place my account on hold for free. Aka they wouldn't charge me the $15 to put my account on hold.. after I explained again that even taking that same class for four weeks would mean I would be paying $110 for four classes - more than an average person walking in - she said that's the best she could do and made it feel like even that was doing me a huge favor. I understand policies, and I understand that places need to make a profit. I wasn't asking for them to refund me, or to give me anything in excess of what I paid for. I was just asking for some reasonable courtesy. I'm pretty disappointed in how this studio and their manager has chosen to handle this discrepancy with a founding member. Unfortunately, they've lost a potential long time member, and would recommend against practicing here based on how profit is prioritized above all. read more

Let me start by saying how happy a lot of us are that YOGASix is here in YORBA LINDA! Their location is awesome! Brand new TOWN CENTRE with lots of new retailers, parking lot is right next to their front door. Easy access. The staff is super super super nice! Alana called me back in mid Feb-Mar after I requested some more info. After a fun conversation in the phone, I signed up as a founding member with my new membership. Unlimited classes. They have tons of classes. And they are adding more. The studio is brand new. It looks amazing. Super clean! I'm a beginner and the staff and teachers have been super fun and helpful and professional. So far I've had classes with Kelly, Paula, Nicole and Kiran and I loved all of them. The class ambience is great; they have designated spots to help you place your mat, so the ambience is neat and organized. And everyone is happy. Alana, the manager, always has a beautiful smile. All of the staff is awesome. Lauren has been my personal helper, she is so great! The entire staff is super welcoming. Come to YogaSix, you will love it. read more
