The cabins were very clean and we had room for 6 people pretty comfortably. The area is beautiful and quiet and the waterpark was well maintained and the highlight of the trip. Jan at the Ranger Station was very helpful at check in and explained the rules. Brandy was amazing about getting us extra towels and sheets, and checked on us every time we saw her. We used the laundry facilities that were easy to use. For a family that only had enough time and money for a weekend trip this year, this trip was incredible and memorable. The kids and I visited the park this past weekend for our yearly back to school adventure trip. (1 adult, 3 11 year old girls, 2 10 year old boys). Check in was a strict 4:30 check in as they had a lot of turn overs that day. One of the older ladies in the front office wasn't very helpful or pleasant to deal with. We got there around noon and was able to head down to the water park and play until check in. There are plenty of bathrooms down there for changing into swimsuits. *After check in and unloading the vehicle, we were able to head back to the water park and swim until supper time. The pool at the rec center was down and completely green so we weren't able to swim at the pool closest to our cabin. Communication was a bit confusing with some of the guest reps. We tried to buy the guest experience packages and was told by employees at every building that it was at a different location on the property. After speaking with every location at least twice, we were able to speak with a manager and got our experiences purchased. *On day one, Friday evening, we witnessed a mother and her toddler swimming in the pool at the water park swimming with no diaper. The child told her mother she had to potty. Child walked up the steps and out of the pool and pooped right on the concrete. Mother picked her up and walked to the bathroom and left the turd on the concrete. An employee had to clean it up after we flagged them down. *Saturday, we enjoyed the water park and some of the activities on our VIP experience but again got the run around on the locations of simple things like where firewood could be purchased, where the cotton candy machine was located, and when we could do activities. They didn't have the red gem bags so we had to split a bucket between the kids instead. We were told to check back for the meet and greet and ultimately told it wasn't available for us. If this is important to you, make sure you schedule it soon after you check in or you'll miss out like we did. The glow in the dark hay ride Saturday night was by far my favorite experience there. The golf carts followed behind and made for a very cool parade throughout the park. The employees really hyped it up with sing along songs. *Sunday was check out at 11 but after packing up we were able to do our ceramic (it's just painting a piece of pottery). When we cashed in on our stuffed animal we were told to go to the store at the water park but they told us it had to be done at the rec center. Rec center told us to go to the water park store. The back and forth was exhausting. The cotton candy machine was never located and eventually we spoke to an employee for an exchange of cotton candy for a scoop of ice cream. And again Sunday, the same mom allowed her toddler to swim with no swim diaper but this time the kid successfully pooped in the pool causing a shut down of the ONLY pool on the property for a few hours. *Our cabin was listed as fully stocked kitchen and linens for rent however there were linens in our cabin along with shampoo, conditioner, body wash on the wall of the shower. I would suggest bring more dish soap as you only have 6 of everything and will have to wash a lot. They provide a tiny bottle of dish soap but we definitely needed more. *All in all, my kids and I enjoyed this trip a lot and would definitely come back. My only hope is that they can learn from their chaos and work on communication and training employees on when and where everything is located. Knowledge is power. I'd like to see more employees hanging out by the pool to enforce diaper laws (it's a Georgia law that babies wear them btw) *Also note the fire pits at our cabin was literally three feet from our cabin. It rained a lot so we couldn't get our fire going but looking back, it might've been a blessing in disguise due to close proximity to the cabin itself. *There is so much more I could share but this is already very lengthy. Parents, if you need any information feel free to DM me as I learned more via people camping than I did from calling the office or going into the buildings to speak with employees there. *Also note, our WiFi wouldn't work at first. Had to have maintenance come down to fix it. That maintenance man was golden. Loved him. Super friendly and sweet to my kids (but not in a creepy way) *The roads are terrible. The pot holes are similar to a dirt road or down town Atlanta. *Our bathroom door also didn't latch properly. Every time the kids had to use it, I'd have to go lift up on the door to get it to close for them. *The mattress on the bottom bunk bed had springs poking out and into my body. I only survived because I just happened to bring a yoga mat which I was able to use for cushion. *Our air conditioner was perfect and we never ran out of hot water. read more

My first impression of Yogi Bear Campground was unfortunately not a positive one. I chose to visit because it was close to a facility where my dad was staying, and I wanted to give my kids a fun day out while we were in town. When we arrived, the campground appeared very quiet and not busy at all. Since it was our first visit, I was trying to learn more about the park and what activities were available. However, the front desk employee seemed dismissive when I asked questions. Rather than providing information about the campground and its amenities, I was directed to scan a QR code and search online myself. I also asked about swimming and was told that the pool was not open to the public. This confused me because when I checked the website, I found information stating that day passes are available Sunday through Thursday, and that Friday and Saturday access may be available upon request. I visited on a Friday, and the campground appeared nearly empty, so I was disappointed that no additional explanation or accommodation was offered. Customer service plays a big role in first impressions, especially for potential visitors who are unfamiliar with the campground. I was hoping for a more welcoming experience and more information about what Yogi Bear Campground has to offer. My family stayed in cabin 277 the last weekend of August, and unfortunately the cabin had a mouse inside that left droppings throughout the space... on the floors, counters, and even on the bed sheets and pillows. With three small kids, including a crawling medically fragile 1‑year‑old, this was a serious health concern. I reported it to the front desk, and someone came to sweep, but the droppings kept appearing every time we left and came back. It was clear the cabin wasn't properly cleaned or sealed. We ended up leaving a full day early because it wasn't safe for our kids. Especially since our 1 year old was crawling on the floor and continually finding a new spot with mouse droppings. I emailed and called afterward requesting a refund for the night we couldn't stay. The owner responded 1x and stated they would get back to me. Since she has not responded to a single email, text, or provided any update, and no one has called back. Between the unsanitary cabin and the complete lack of follow‑up, I would not recommend staying here. They obviously do not care about their guests. read more

It has so much potential. We stayed in a cabin. The cabin was great, except for the 3 roaches we saw. The new section of the park is awesome, but the old section is not good. It is completely run down. The pool had green algae all-over the sides, and the wooden fence between the toddler pool and the big pool was missing about 4 boards, so the kids could just walk through from the toddler pool to the adult pool. That is an accident waiting to happen. There was no foam party when we were there, but the "foam pit" was disgusting and looked moldy and muddy. There is no way I would let my kids play in there. The kids train actually had mushrooms growing inside it. Any child could attempt to eat them, and they are poisonous. The "hey hey hey" ride was just a wagon pulled by a truck....not a hay ride, but maybe we expected more. The boats literally look like they are in an retention pond. Multiple activities were canceled, which was disappointing for the kids, and I called several times prior to arriving asking questions about activities and the young people who answered the phones really did not have any answers. The "themed" events were lackluster at best. Coming from a family fun center background, that part was disappointing. You can't bring in firewood, but the store had none. How does a camp store have no firewood? I thought about giving it another shot, but after reading the reviews with the same issues, it seems nothing gets fixed. read more

the water park was a nice experience, we were there 5 days. we rented one rv site, two cabins (one cabin for the same 5 days, one for only 1 night. the cabins were NASTY. the air filters (only checked because it was running but not flowing cold air) were BLACK!!!! these were cleaned and placed back (by us) and then the air was fine. the floors were nasty. and food from previous guests were found under bed and couch in living room. No reason in this as you check out at 9 but can't check in until 4pm. plenty of time to clean these cabins. especially for what they rent for. the activities packs. we purchased four of the packs when doing the which was one of the items on the packs. There was no paint to paint with all the bottles were empty. The lady that was doing the activity apologized repeatedly, but there is no reason for y'all not to keep paint stopped at the activity center especially for what y'all charge if you want to buy the ceramic separate which we did and we had no paint to paint it. Also, one of the items on the activity packet was that they would receive cotton candy. We went to each place up at the waterslides and back to the rec center. Nobody ever had cotton candy and they kept sending us and this again there is no reason for that to be the to be available when you make it part of your is a great place and it could be better much better. We were also at the RV site down by the old section where and the kitty area playground mini golf there was tore up the entire was and they worked on it and worked on it. I don't know company came, but those type of those types of things should be up and running quickly or replaced whatever so things could be so much better. We would love to come back and see things greatly improved. read more

First, very cool park. Very welcoming! They have so many activities and train rides for the little ones. Tried to do them all, when you check in they give you a list of hourly events happening through the park on the hours between 10 am up to 6 to 9pm. Very clean and tidy. Except for the little gutter going through part of the park. Had an exhausting time with the little ones. They did great crafts and made a bead necklace. They have a splash pool with a mushroom fountain and a regular pool. Great time. BUT! I would love to have had a handrail on one corner of the splash pool to haul my butt up out of it instead of looking like an overgrown frog trying to heave myself up the two ft step. Besides me being of a certain age I have a bad knee that I have to have surgery on, so getting myself up was so much fun. But they do have a great park and movie night was fun for the 7 minutes the littles aloud with their attention span being only 3 minutes long. Gave me an extra four to gather all the stuff they thought they needed to bring to movie night so I can haul it all back to the camper 7 minutes later. We will be back. read more

Alright y'all. Buckle right in because I'm about to address every good and bad thing these previous reviews have said. I, like you, read the reviews and was a tad concerned about level sites, rude staff, long term residents etc. However I took a gamble on the good reviews and I'm so glad I did! We can start with the basics. Upon arrival we were met with a gate that needed a code. I didn't have it and when I called the office I got a busy signal. After a few minutes a lady walks up and tells us she works there. She will gladly give us the code if we can confirm we were booked. I show her my email and she puts in the code for us. I don't know her name but would like to give her props for being secure AND providing us the gate code. We pull up to check in. Holy smokes we were greeted by an absolute ray of sunshine who covered everything so very thoroughly. Amanda J. was exactly the right way to kick off our stay there. Again she was so very thorough from how to get to our site, to activities, to local attractions. I mean seriously she is the top notch person to have greeting incoming guests! We ended up talking to her every day of our visit and she only got more amazing! Big shout out to Amanda J for rocking the customer service game! She even saw us off, which really made me feel welcome even in saying goodbye. We get to our site (15 to be precise) and require minimal leveling. Granted we only have a 30 ft TT. We did have to circle around the inside loop to get to our loop and the turn in was a tad tricky but we are absolute rookies and made the turn just fine. *NOTE HERE there are quite a few sites that look like they're tricky for big rigs* Space? I mean we didn't have a mountain between us and our neighbors but we had room to spread out and we didn't hear any noise from them. Which brings me to my next topic- long term residence. My one neighbor was long term. I saw him once. His site was barren. I met several employees that lived on site AND visited their sites. The only evidence I saw of a "permanent" resident was one who had his own lawnmower. But really, how can you hate on the resident who takes pride in his lawn?!?! About the train noise- I was there for 8 nights and I may have heard the train 3 times. None of those were in the middle of the night. The amenities are awesome, especially for younger kids. Katlyn is a freaking rock star in making sure the kids are having fun and getting equal turns. She was so refreshing to see her looking out for the kids and being fair. Melanie is also pretty great if you're looking for tye-dye inspiration. Honorable mention to Patrick who kills it directing the pool games and is also someone who will give you a great conversation if you talk to him. SUPER honorable mention to Jennifer the Tampa Bay fan. She is very knowledgeable and kind. I've read reviews about a manager who was very stand-offish and I'm going to go on record to say that whoever that guy was is gone. I only met Robin (the current GM) in passing but nothing about her said poor customer service. She was a business woman, but as a business woman myself I recognized the strength behind the people I saw face to face. This campground also served as an amazing base camp for us to take day trips to Atlanta. Is the price tag high? Probably if you are used to state parks. If you take advantage of all the activities then no, it actually isn't that high considering what you get. Should big rigs be concerned? Maybe, but I'm willing to bet if you take the time to call the office you will find someone who will help you find the perfect site. I'm honestly overwhelmed with my experience there and am trying so hard not to leave anything out. Golf cart rentals are pricy but they are Cadillacs of the golf cart world. My kids pretty much lived in the Gaga Pit over everything. But now I've got to bring it home, and I hope you are all still with me. I saved the best for last. While this experience was amazing I have to say that there was one employee who solidified this experience. He was not only an absolute gem to me but was even more so to my children. He was always there leading the way for fun, making conversation and just having an above and beyond attitude that I've never seen in my 20 years of customer service. Just seeing his smile put a smile on our faces. I'm talking about the absolute gem you have in Lil Karl. I hope you realize that you won the lottery in customer service with him. Then the manager told my husband it was how he pulled into the spot.. super rude guy who obviously doesn't care about his customers. We ended up having to make a police report over the damage caused and driving home. Beware of this location especially if you have a big rig. read more

Stayed here three nights during our Florida spring break/st Patrick's day weekend . Although we have teens, based on the website it sounded like the place would be hopping but it was not. Office, arcade closed early (I believe by 5) and I didn't see the pool was open. We noticed long term residents who didn't keep up their sites and made the place look trashy. For the nightly fee charged I would have expected it to look nicer. There's one gate in/out and you need a security code. After searching my paperwork and emails I saw nothing providing the code. We called the number on the sign and no one answered. Luckily a camper was behind us and punched the code in for us to get in. Finally, it's about a 30 minute drive or so to the Atlanta area for attractions. Not much of anything around the campground. We won't stay again. read more

Jellystone is an amazing place to rest one's overworked body. Thus, the reason I booked our stay. My wife was able to soak up the rays in the cleanest park pool I have seen in years. We will be returning to this campground this summer. Before I go, I would also like to recognize Bailey, Jimmy and Tristin. These three not only helped get us properly setup at our site they continued to work hard around the campground. It was delightful to interact with those three. I was quite impressed with the care they showed in their work. Plus, I enjoyed watching them work hard while I relaxed. I almost forgot, the cleanliness of the bathrooms was heavenly. We were just passing through on our cross-country move via 34 ft RV from California to Florida. Would have stayed longer if we'd had the time. Arrived very late, was easy to locate our paperwork and site. Lots of activities for kids. Very family & pet friendly. Great dog area! The campground is vey nice and there are many things for children to do. But if you get stuck on Lot 13, just plan on not spending anytime outside your camper. It is a mud/sand pit and the management refuses to fix it. We have been here a month and have asked if they would move us. We were told that there policy is that no one moves. The lack of concern, for us at least, will keep us from ever returning. Unfortunately, there are no refunds so unless we want to pay for another park, we are stuck in this miserable spot. My complaint is the price. People working here are great. Tires are dangling because the grade of the land. It's sardine tight, bring your pulling skills. For $70 a night, a level concrete pad shouldn't be too much to ask. Rain made it worse. This is a $35 a night at best. read more

This place was a great getaway for meeting friends with kids. We stayed on one of the tent sites and we had shade, water, electrical and a fire pit. The activities are endless!! Our kids had a blast!!! There are plenty of areas to stay dry and cool if the weather turns wet. The staff members are all friendly. Very helpful! read more

Pulled in here at roughly 11pm, and luckily there were RV slips dedicated to late arrivals. Pulled Calypso in, then went up to the Ranger Station to fill out a arrival slip. When we woke up, we were amazed at how beautiful the park really is! There were animal displays with tortoises, fluffy feathered chickens, parrots, gators, and lizards. The bathrooms and showers were large and clean, and the pool looked large and inviting. Made me a little sad that we had to leave right away! Would really love to come back and stay a spell. read more

Drove for an hour to go to this park only to be told by a VERY RUDE ranger that they had cut off day passes. She advised us it was best to be there by 11am (it was 12pm) but, she DID NOT mention this before when I called to get more detailed information. My 3 year old was completely devastated. I would have discussed this further with her but, she rode off on her golf cart. She was SO RUDE!!!! I tried to call shortly after and no one said they knew what I was talking about. 7/31/2018 We took our grandchildren for vacation. The sites are gravel and very hard to level your RV. the grass was not cut and you have to take your trash to their dumpsters which were very full and over flowing. The pool was good but they have no lounge chairs. The game room had some games and air hockey but many of them were not working properly. Some of the ladies that work in the store were very rude. The kids had fun and loved seeing yogi bear and the turtles but we will not be going back as we have seen many other sites that are way nicer for that price. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. I don't know where to start it was so awesome. We stayed Memorial Day weekend. If you have kids, they will love this place. We started off by checking in and the staff gave us a very awesome welcome and check in. They went above and beyond to ensure that we were having a great time the entire time we were there. We stayed in the cabins. You have two choices in the cabins. You can get a cabin with a shower or a kitchen. We chose the shower. On the outside they look tiny, but once you get inside they must have watched every episode of tiny house because they have maximized the space everywhere. The cabin we stayed in was cabin 90. It has a bunk bed as soon as you walk in, a loft above the porch, and a loft above the bunk bed. More than enough space to sleep 6 if you wanted. It has a very spacious bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. It has a refrigerator and a microwave. There were several other features that are awesome. It comes with a television with satellite which we never used because there is so much to do. It also has its own picnic table and fire ring with a grill that flips over the top for cooking. Now on to all the fun stuff. They have a swimming pool that is 3 1/2 feet on each end and 4 1/2 feet in the middle. They have a separate splash pad. They have a train ride that yogi bear rides on with the kids. They have a horseshoe pit and putt putt golf course that is very challenging, but fun. They have an air pad that the kids can jump on, an arcade, fishing pond and an outdoor movie theatre that they use at night with kid friendly movies. They have an awesome alligator exhibit that has 3 small gators in it, a tortoise exhibit with 3 very old tortoises in it. They let the kids play with the tortoises. The roads all the way around are asphalt and well kept. They have a place to do laundry. If you forget something, you are fairly close to Walmart, but honestly they keep tons of stuff in the general store that is reasonably priced. You more than likely can find what you are looking for in the store. All of the souvenirs are reasonably priced so you don't get hammered by spending so much on the stuff your kids are begging for. I really can't say enough about the staff. They were awesome from the time we got there till the time we left. They take pride in what they do and many are military veterans. They have so many activities for the kids to do and do a great job of communicating it to the guests. They put out a flyer with times and activities as well as announce it with a PA system when it's time for the activity. We will be back many times. read more

Sites are horribly unlevel. Some campers on 2 cinder blocks. No pea gravel, large rocks, uncomfortable in flip flops. Only 7 chairs at pool, no loungers. Disappointed at this park for $60 night. read more

Crawling with ANTS! After two days here our camper had tiny red ants all over inside and out. BIG holes in the streets where the rain water drains are. If your trailer tires go into one of these, you will break off your black/gray drain pipe. We were in a WiFi dead spot and the signal was too weak to pick up with PC, iPhone or Kindle. Lady at the desk kept repeating that all the transmitters are working. She couldn't grasp the concept of transmitter placement and dead spots. No cable TV (DirecTV hookup for additional charge). Too far away from Atlanta to pick up local antenna stations except two PBS stations. They lock the gate from 9 pm to 9am. If you want out during those hours, you have to get out of your vehicle, walk around the gate and enter a code. Narrow streets make back in spots extremely difficult. read more
