Jellystone in Williamstown, NJ is beyond beautiful. From the second you pull in you feel transported to your summer paradise. The grounds and tidy, bathrooms clean, great food and the best staff. Seeing yogi, boo boo and Cindy bear around the park makes it so much better. The kids loveeee when they come out to play and interact. The young adults in the snack stand are all very professional and kind. Carmella who works there is so good with the young ones and getting our orders out quickly. I love seeing them laugh and have a good time. I hope they all know how much they contribute to the experience. read more

a day ago New I stayed here opening weekend with my husband and our children ages 8, 5, 3 & 9 months. The first day we got there it was around 4 pm check in time and I hurried to unpack as my kids wanted to participate in the waking up the bears activities. Additionally, we had another family that was there we spent outside all night with. The next day I woke up to make my kids breakfast and I noticed there were tiny black ants in our prepackaged food for the kids that were closed (like muffins, cinnamon rolls) etc. it got in our marshmallows that we had opened but closed back up, bread, etc. I had to throw so much food away, and as the day progressed, much more ants appeared. They were infested in the loft and one closed bedroom area that never had any food in them. Just our belongings/blankets. I had asked both neighbors in the same type of cabin about our bug issue, and they stated they had no ant issue. I decided to call the front desk in which they sent someone to come access the situation. The woman came and began spraying our cabin without our permission on the windows, in our loft, and etc. I asked her if this spray was dangerous as I have a 9 month old crawler and a 3 year old who puts everything in her mouth, who was going to the window that she just sprayed to touch it in front of her. She stated she didn't think about that, and proceeded to then grab our only roll of paper towels with her gloves that had the chemicals on it to start "cleaning it off". I told her that it's noon and nap time for my kids and now I have nowhere to put them down, and I cannot carry my baby the rest of the trip because she cannot be exposed to the chemicals. I stated I was calling corporate because this was not right, in which she replied she was the GM. She returned 45 minutes later, my children now over tired to tell me she will offer me the lake house off property. As I am packing everything up, I am now 30 minutes into it, I call the front desk to ask if we can be refunded or given another day for free being we are spending the only whole day we have packing up and unpacking again. And my kids still haven't napped. We are all now sweaty being it was 85 outside and we had to make three trips between the properties. After all packed up, The GM told me that we can either stay in our ant infested/toxic sprayed cabin and be refunded, OR the lake house. Clearly I'm not about to have 4 crying kids because we have to leave before their Easter egg hunt and breakfast with the bunnies the next day. They were already upset that they haven't napped yet. The lake house had no beds so we were provided mattresses to sleep on the floor, and now had to waste even more time going to Walmart 15-20 min down the street to get more food because of the bug issue. I spent a lot of money on this trip between the cost of the cabin, food, etc as me being the only income for my kids to have a weekend camping just for it to be ruined by the resorts negligence to up keep/inspecting. There were many ways they could have made this right by refunding us in even a gift card for another stay or giving us an additional night so my kids could have a full day instead of now only 4 hours spent there. On top of that, being brought to the lake house took us away from the entire camping experience and the other family who joined us. read more

First, do not be misguided by these negative reviews. I read them and decided to still give this place a chance and I'm so glad i did! I stayed August 11, 2020 to August 14, 2020 with my 6 year old son. His 5 year old cousin. And his grandparents. Yes, many people choose to display their political affiliation on their cabins or golf carts. Who cares? Why let it bother you? Lol. Ignore and enjoy the scenery. I didn't experience any racism. I didn't experience any dirty areas. There were a couple of staff members who weren't the most warm and welcoming but again. Who cares? Just ignore. All the nice ones make up for the few that weren't. I was immediately greeted by a very sweet girl at the welcome station. Check in was a breeze. Rented a golf cart and purchased a gate entry key. Fishing- the store sells rods. But had no bait. Went to Walmart about 10 Minutes away and picked some up. The whole family had a blast fishing. (Catch and release) Pool/splash park- pool area has limited seats but you can bring your own chairs. Water slide was very fun. The kids kept going back on (one day the staff member manning the slide didn't show up for hours) Restaurant- basic food. Pizza burger. Chicken tenders. When we were too lazy to grill it did the job. Deluxe Cabin- upon arrival the cabin was very clean. And ac was left on. Amazing. Didn't have to walk into a hot cabin The store has basically all the necessities. Minus charcoal. I had a blast. My family had a blast. So much so, i plan on celebrating my sons birthday there! Thanks for the great experience. read more

my family and I stayed here for a few nights in the campground and had a great stay. Lots to do for the kids like playground, kiddie pool, arcade that kept them busy. The adult pool and the lake were very refreshing and enjoyable. The gift shop and snack bar also were really good - plenty of selections. Everyone was very courteous and helpful especially Kayla at the food stand. my youngest was not sure what flavor of ice cream to order and Kayla was very sweet and patient with him. Definitely would recommend Yogi for a family camping trip! read more

Disclaimer: I am typically tolerant and not as critical; however, this resort has a lot of work to do. If ABC is a franchise, then corporate needs to pay a visit. FYI, it's not a Yogi any longer, it is an Adventure Bound Camping Resort property. After reading reviews under the Yogi name on Google Reviews and other review sites, I am wondering if the ownership is the same. It would appear nothing has changed but the name. I booked two 42', 50 amp sites for friends of the family and my family. When we arrived, we were met with the roads entering the property and throughout the "resort" were/are loose dust/dirt. We went inside to check-in. The female behind the counter had a personality of a snail. Not welcoming one bit. When we got to out sites, we noticed no maintenance had been performed. Low hanging branches, holly leaves all over and multiple ant mounds...I mean multiple. There was no way we were getting our units in the sites without damaging them. On top of that, one was 50 amp, the other was 30 amp. We booked online, picking out sites based on 42' with slide-outs on both sides, 50 amp, full hook-up. Fortunately for us, when we went to the office, they told us to pick any site along the two rows we were in. It was difficult to find a site with 50 amp and a site without tree limbs or power lines coming in contact with the units, in an area they consider "premium." A day later, the same female at check-in was asked when the ice cream/food area inside the store would be open? Her response, "We don't have ice cream" and continued whatever she was doing. Due to New Jersey's COVID19 re-opening phase, the pool/water park were closed. It appeared the playground was open though. For a day and a half, our children played at the playground. Our children went to the playground the next afternoon and it was roped off with yellow "Caution" tape. I called the office. Families were told it was closed, due to the COVID19 New Jersey restrictions, it was not to be open. Golf carts. The operators driving like they are on a NASCAR track, speeding up and down the lose dirt roads, kicking up dust clouds. No employee on property after the store closed; we called security; no answer. Our friends brought small kids blow-up pool, as we knew the pool/water park would be likely closed. An older gentleman on a golf cart came up the dusty dirt road and passed our sites. He stopped, backed up, and stopped in front of the site. Rudely he told us to take it down, stating it was not allowed. After asking why, we were told liability reasons. Did I mention the golf carts? Liability!? The campground offered a train ride through their grounds. That was nice except the dust coming into the cars. Nice until the older man stopped quickly to tell a mother on a golf cart she could not have her child between her legs/lap; in a rude authoritative tone. The DJ at Noon and in the evening on Saturday, that was nice. No complaints there. Luckily for each respective family, we made the best of it. I definitely do not think their rate $101/night (with a 4th night discount) for a premium site, that was not even close to premium, under these conditions was a scam, a total rip off. This campground has so much potential, so much. Stone or pave the roads, maybe some staff training on how to welcome guests and speak to guest, even if breaking a rule of the campground; clean up the sites by trimming branches on a regular basis, exterminate those overwhelming number of ant mounds, raise those electrical wires, re-evaluate what a premium site is, combo the sites to be 30/50 amp. I would highly recommend until there are changes, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY AT THIS ADVENTURE BOUND CAMPING location. read more

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE They must have the worst checkin process I have ever seen. The maintenance guys are the worst (rude and slow). If you have a large trailer, be sure to call and make sure you'll fit on a site. We booked online and they tried to put us on site 5. Well, if you look on the map, site 5 looks to have plenty of room, but it does not. You cannot fit a camper on site 5 and 6 at the same time. It's impossible. They docked us around for over an hour about where to park us and finally gave in and put us on a site that fits a 40' trailer. They really need to evaluate what they consider a site and also not charge people extra to hold the site they picked. To also be fair, they never ended up putting anyone on site 5 the whole time we were there. True assholes if you ask me. Edit: went to talk to a manager the next day and never once did I get an apology for the situation. Poorly managed campground with staff that only cares about taking your money and not about the well being and comfort of camp stayers. If I could post zero stars, I would. Edit 2: after the 4th or 5th person was hanging over the outside of the pool fence and looking in while smoking, my pregnant wife went to ask management if there was something they could do. They advised here there was nothing they could do and that maybe she should speak to the people who are smoking and ask them not to. Who is running this place???? Edit 3: I went to the front desk and told them there was a hornet nest on our site and I got stung a few times and that I could show them where it was so they could spray it and no future campers would get stung. They said they would be right over, but they never came. Edit 4: they argued with me about what was a large and small coffee in the camp store and honestly for $.50 I just walked out in disgust. They were simply ridiculous. Edit 5: small kiddo died after a tree fell on them. With my experience, this was likely negligence on their part. Really sad experience for everyone around, however the management here is absolutely idiotic and it doesn't surprise me one bit that stupid things like this happen. Edit: Yogi Bear's South Jersey Campground in Williamstown: While the park itself is very nice, the grounds are well maintained, campsites roomy and clean...the staff leave a LOT to be desired. We are full time RV-ers and have honestly never experienced such rudeness at any other RV campground. We are the kind of people to go out of our way to be nice, polite, courteous and not be any trouble for staff. This is my first time making a review so I'll try to keep it short... 1. Arrived at off-peak season so many amenities were not open full time yet (totally understandable) however the website stated one of the pools, the kiddie pool, was open. So my husband and I went through the unlocked gate that had NO sign stating otherwise and all of a sudden 2 golf carts come skidding (actually skidding to a stop) at the pool entrance like an episode of cops when they finally corner the burglar and one guy jumps out and rudely says "you aren't supposed to be here." I immediately apologize and try to explain that the website said it was open and we meant no harm. He turned with a "I'll take care of that" and told the other gentleman to stay there. Like a guard at the castle entrance. He stood there for 10 additional minutes. 2. The policy says absolutely no motorized/electric bikes, scooters, etc. I'll admit we did not read the policy thoroughly so completely on us but my husband did pull out our little e-bike to drive down to the store. He was not doing Brodies or popping wheelies, was respecting the 5mph rule etc. and a female staff member came running out of the main building screaming at him. Again, our fault, we should have read the policy however a simple "that's not allowed" would suffice and nothing seemed to have been said over the weekend to all the e-bikes and e-scooters running the grounds. Maybe all the money pouring in blinded the staff to that? 3. the main entrance has a key code gate for security, they also give you a tag for your car (for easy I.D. that you belong there) but the staff will sit in the attached building and watch you fumble around trying to reach the buttons from your car window instead of buzzing you in. I mean, I guess there's nothing that says they have to buzz you in, but it would be polite. The lady that screamed at my husband about the bike actually stared with a small smirk as we stretched to get to the keys. 4. spoke with one of the weekend RV-ers who said that this place is known for their rude staff but it's one of the few places that locals can come to for something to do during the hot summer so it's tolerated. Either way, we will never be back. So in general, if you don't intend on speaking/dealing with staff then I would recommend this place. First time staying here since it was Yogi Bear. It is overpriced and the staff is rude and aggressive. The only thing my kids enjoyed was the pool but it was crowded and there aren't any rules there as far as throwing footballs around, etc. We will not be staying here again. This is our first time renting a cabin for camping. We rented a deluxe cabin and a efficiency cabin. Came here for a 5 day stay, staff is amazing. Everyone was nice and kind, very helpful. The kids loved the stay, price was just right but if I knew there was such a huge difference between the cabins I would've just gotten 2 deluxe. The only bad thing are all the bugs. The outside of my cabin had a bunch of either hornets or bumblebees. Once it was dark they would show up right next to our door. read more

This place was way too expensive for what you get: We rented a delux cabin for $295 a night. The "cabin" was really a basic box with one bed and two bunks, with a small kitchen and bathroom. And a little rundown. The couch/pull out extra bed was old and shabby with missing sections of vinyl off of the naugahide cover. The microwave oven didn't work. The microwave in my daughter's cabin also didn't work(four families camped together in four separate cabins). Very little water pressure: if you flushed the toilet, you couldn't hardly wash your hands. There isn't much to do except drive a golf cart around ($88 a day) and look at the big campers and Trump banners. To be fair, the littlest grandsons did enjoy driving around the camp. There ARE fish in the pond and the kids did all catch at least one sunfish, but the pond was way overgrown with pond weed. Needs a better playground. The water park is for very young kids. The pool is just OK. No life guard. Only 6 ft in the deep end. No diving! Office closes way too early! Make sure you're there before 5 o'clock for crying out loud! In short way too expensive for what you get. If you do decide to go try going during the week. Much quieter and more peaceful. read more

We stayed the weekend and accidentally left a large Rubbermaid container with the kitchen / fridge stuff in the cabin accidentally it has several bottles of unopened wine and 2 six packs of wine coolers which made it very heavy. Unfortunately we forgot to go back in and get the container before leaving, no big deal- we called to pick it up the next day. came back the next day and all the alcohol that was in there was missing. They deny anything was taken, of course! We are very disappointed because we were loyal customers until now! read more

This was our first time camping at Yogi Bear. Our camp site was huge however it was not cleaned from the people that stayed before us. The main bathroom for us which is also the main bathroom for the pool, did not seem to be cleaned more than once per day and I'm not even sure that was happening. The snack shack was closed the first 2 days we were at the campground. And there wasn't really any kid activities during the week other than the park and pool. read more

Would not have come since grandchildren are too old for baby sprinkle area Very Poor activity schedule. Mostly for little kids. No pit or organized games for older kids. I recently booked a stay at Jellystone in Elmer for a three-day weekend. We've stayed at jellystone campgrounds before, most recently in the Lancaster, PA. This resort is below average for a Jellystone campground. The campground is in a wooded area, and since the roads and paths do not have signs or markings it is amazingly difficult to navigate at night. Even if you arrive during the day, it is a guess as to what road you are turning on. There is nothing comforting about the "Comfort Lodge" (AKA, the bathrooms). These are poorly placed and in our site (LF1) the bathroom was so far away we usually drove back and forth. The bathrooms were extremely dirty, with damaged doors and cabinets under the sink, sand everywhere, and they reeked. The showers did not have lights, were not air conditioned, and had sand and hair everywhere. Time your showers for the evening or the early morning because they run out of hot water quick. The playground was nice, but the miniature golf course was a joke - a couple of beat-up holes and they had no clubs or balls to use. The photos of the pool area on the web site are accurate, but once you arrive it looks a lot smaller than you would think. The water slides are dual-purpose, meaning they can work both dry and wet, so there is an attendant basically spraying a garden hose on each one. The result is that the water is freezing. and filled with sand, grass, and other gunk. We had a spot next to the "lake" - i use quotes because it is really the size of a pond, and just as murky. And our spot was right next to the main septic tank for the region -- something they failed to mention when I was booking the site, of course. So the entire trip when we had a nice breeze we also had the experience of a whiff of septic fumes. Yummy! Speaking of our site, we had an RV spot. Usually when you have an RV spot the hook ups for electric, water, and cable are all in the same area on the same side since RV makers put them on one side or the other. At out site, the water and a 30-amp hookup were on one side, the sewer drain was weirdly positioned about 20 feet away, and the 110 hook up was on the opposite side of the site. The camp store was average, with enough of the essentials to get by and some basic treats for the kids. Cons: - poorly marked roads - poor hygiene in the facilities - quality of amenities is low, except for Tiki Bay - small camp store with limited selection - expensive for what you get Pros: - pool was nice read more

We returned to Jellystone this year for the water wars weekend in July. New management had recently taken over and it was an improvement. I noticed the grounds had been fixed up a bit. There were new rules in place for the water wars weekend that were there for safety reasons. They did not take away from the fun in my opinion. There were more employees present and visible throughout the weekend. The big blow up slides were being used this time. My 9 & 10 year old nephews loved it! We were staying in an RV, so I am not sure about the cleanliness of the bathroom facilities. We enjoyed our time. read more

This was our second trip to Yogi Elmer, NJ. Water wars is always fun ( for kids & adults) we brought a trailer w a huge water tank hitched to a pickup. There are a ton of teams that battle through the campground and at the water wars and that part is a blast!!! The pool at this facility is just screaming bacteria!!' To say it was cloudy would be an understatement! You couldn't see your hand in an inch of water! They must shock the pool each morning or evening unsure but I don't suggest adults or children to go in unless you're life goal would be to have E. coli or a skin disease. There were actual guests taking home pool samples to be tested LOL clearly this was a problem for a large # of guests! Bathroom cleanliness improved from last year. Check in time took some time however it was due to waivers required to be assigned by each camper. There were no waivers last year so this was new. They are pretty stern with quiet hour. At one point my girlfriend was told by security she "wasn't permitted to laugh while riding her bike to the bathroom". No golf carts after 11 and they are very strict with this rule. We had a child who was in a wheelchair with our group and we had to get into the car to take him to the bathroom in the middle of the night & early morning. From a safety stand point you would think they'd prefer you drive a golf cart vs your big truck w trailer through the park but that's just my personal opinion. With all that being said, kids had a blast! Bring DEET/Deep Woods bug spray bc this location has mutant Mosquitos that will make its purpose to eat your children alive given the chance. Site 218 had sand flees, per the campers, avoid this site at all cost! Lol Staff/Security were extremely helpful and friendly. They deliver wood & ice directly to your site, new and great feature! read more

Decided on a last minute weekend getaway with the kids (06-25-16). We loved the idea of renting a little cabin in the woods, kids on the other hand said it sounds "lame". So we rolled in Friday late afternoon and we were greated by on of the managers (Brian) VERY friendly and professional. Brian explained to the kids that this weekend was "Water Wars Weekend". This is where campers... Employees and anyone and everyone runs/drives around the campground with waterguns etc. soaking everyone. My kids said that they didn't have water guns and Brian told them not to worry, just be ready for fun the next morning. We were escorted to our cabin by one of the employees and to our surprise the cabin was as nice (if not nicer) than some of the hotel rooms I have stayed in. The cabin can EASILY sleep a family of six in comfort. All you need to bring is your sheets, blanket and pillows. Firewood was delivered to our site, sat out for a few hours roasted marshmallows and made a few s'mores (and consumed a few adult beverages). After a nice restful night sleep the we awoke to trucks with there beds lined in plastic and golf carts with buckets attached all filled with water THEN the surprise, a fire truck (YES a fire truck) showed up at our site and Brian asked my kids if they were ready for the Water Wars.... The kids were invited onto the truck for the craziness. Even my 16 year old daughter had a BLAST. The kids made friends very quickly while riding around the campground spraying the others that were involved in the festivities. I have to admit I was a little unsure when Brian was telling us the night before how the entire campground get involved in the water wars. He was NOT KIDDING. I mentioned before about trucks with the beds lined in plastic then I see pumps and hoses attached (these people take this SERIOUS) campsites draped in plastic with ambush areas, kids with Super Soakers hiding behind trees, then at 5pm the FUN began. All the kids, grown up kids,trucks, golf carts and whatever could hold water gathered in a big field and had a blow out wate war against the employees that rode around all day in the fire truck and other vehicles. This went on for at least 30-45 minutes. I can't tell you the last two me I have seen so many people laughing, smiling and wet..!  The evening ended when Brian and his wife Lisa (I believe) had a lollipop hunt for the kids. There must have had 100 kids following them around the field searching for the lost candy.  Like all good things this weekend too came to an end.... My kids were a little disappointed when they came to the realization we had to go. Jellystone Campground was truly a surprise to myself, my wife and kids.  I would HIGHLY recommend this campground to campers looking for a family friendly environment. The best part is even if you don't have a travel camper the campground has great cabins you can rent...!!  Brian thank you to both you and your staff for a great weekend....!!! read more

Place was very average with multiple issues. First of all, this is the most sand I've ever seen at a campsite. It's been a week since we returns and there is still sand in the tent, tarp, clothes etc. felt like I stayed at a beach. secondly there are ants, spiders, ticks and other bugs everywhere. This not a well maintained facility. The cabin has a screened in porch that defeat the purpose because all the screens are ripped and defeats the purpose of trying to enjoy the outdoors minus the bugs. We rented a deluxe cabin and had problems with the door. Made a complaint and was advised maintenance would come over. Waited all day and no maintenance came. When I returned to the office the following day, I was advised that a night maintenance person came and nothing was wrong with the door. The next day we had a water pressure problem and the complaint made again about the door. This time we had to wake the sleeping kids and clear the cabin due to health concerns about COVID transmission to an at home relative. I stayed while he addressed the problems. It was revealed that the previous group prior to our rental caused damaged to the property and the door needed to be replaced. The campsite did not have accommodations for our group so we ended up staying in an unsafe cabin with kids because the door was busted. Each time I asked to speak to the manager regarding a credit for the inconvenience she is always running errands for the campground. I have even called on several occasions since our return and am advised the same. I have still not received a call back from the site manager and we checked out August 14, 2020. I am truly displeased with the fact that this site values money over safety for the needed repairs should have been made prior to renting the space to another family. The place is relaxing but truly requires some TLC to have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The sign posted on the refrigerator says: WELCOME TO ADVENTURE BOUND PARK Before you arrive, we make every effort to ensure that you have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable! Before checking out: Wash all dishes and cookware Sweep floors Place bagged trash outside the cabin Cabins/RVs are inspected prior to guests leaving. We typically would go off season because it was cheaper, this year they don't even have off season rates. We will go this year only for wet and wild because it's prepaid but won't go back. I understand they have a lot for the kids to do in the summer months and that's why it's do pricey but there's no reason for March to be the same price as August.... This is our first time staying at a Jellystone and I was very disappointed. Like a previous reviewer said, the roads and sites are poorly marked. Our site wasn't marked at all. We had to stop an employee to ask where our site was and even HE wasn't sure. Once we determined where our site was, we were unsure of how to back into the site because the water and electricity were literally on opposites side of the very large site. We ended up having to run a hose through the middle of our site to get water, which was a major inconvenience. Our site was disgustingly dirty. There were cigarette butts and beer caps everywhere, that we had to pick up before our toddler did. The pool area and the splash pad are nice, but not as big as you would think. People were smoking EVERYWHERE, even in the pool area. I was very put off by this considering it is a campground geared towards kids. The activities were plentiful but mostly very disorganized. The train ride with Santa was complete chaos. No clearly marked 'line' to ride, and people pushing and shoving to get on the train. We did attend the ice cream social and the pool party which were nice. The amenities were all very old and run down. The bathroom we used (only once, because we have one in our camper) was disgusting. It smelled awful and was very dirty. Some of the roads have very deep sand which made it hard for our kids to ride their bikes (one of their favorite camping activities). The playground was okay but there were no swings, just a couple of slides and some climbing structures. The store wasn't very big and the 'office' was in a corner of it, also not marked (We actually had no idea where the office even was). It was way way WAY overpriced, in my opinion. We only paid for a water & electric site to save money since we were only staying for 2 days and there was a dump station by the exit. The dump station had NO running water so we couldn't even flush out our dump hose or tank. It was also a very narrow section of road to use the dump station. We also only saw Yogi make one appearance the whole weekend. Definitely disappointed in our stay here. read more

If there is a negative, that would be rating of this place. The staff is extremely rude! This place KICKS their guests out when they are over a minute late in leaving after 11. You are not allowed to use their mediocre waterpark after 11:00. Beware of this!!! Other indoor waterparks and even other Yogi Bear campgrounds lets you stay for the day that you check out.... Anyway, we asked the kids (less than 5 years old) to leave the pool so we can get ready and help them change.... but.... there they go again. Few minutes later, they purposely came up to us and asked us... "Why are still walking around here? You are supposed to be out of here! You already checked out!" Are you they serious?!? Is that how they treat their customers after they got paid?1? Does walking around our car destroys their property or lessens the value of their amenities?!?! Not only are the staff here have the most rudimentary level of social skills, they also are unsafe. One of their staff (heavy set guy with a wavy hair) who does the food delivery is unsafe behind the wheels. He drives fast like he is in a city street with one hand on the wheel and a cup of beverage in his other hand! Isn't this supposed to be a "family oriented camping site"? That means there are little kids running / walking on the their very dusty dirt road!!! When we asked him to slow down because there are kids around, he simply replied with a smug look on his face "I'm not gonna hit them." There are postings of speed limit of 5 miles / hour and he doesn't follow that because for some insane reason, he thinks he cannot get into a possible accident and hit these kids?!? The management lets him get away with this type of behavior? Also, one of their staff (skinny guy) smokes cigarettes in front of the kids! Hasn't the management heard of danger of second hand smoke?!? I would never recommend this place. Not only that it's very dusty, it only has a the most basic mediocre amenities with most ridiculous policy topped with a staff that oozes with rudeness! read more

We booked the cabin with bathroom/ kicthen/ loft and screened in porch. It was very run down. All of the screens on the porch had holes and rips. The site was just dirt no rocks or grass so everything was muddy and gross. Its seems like no basic up keep is done at this campground. Thank God we had our own bathroom. Stopped in the public bathroom to wash my hands it was horrible. Ants everywhere. The toilets were filthy. The play ground is from maybe the early 90's. Only a few pieces of equipment and the only thing appropriate for a child younger than 4 is one baby swing. The kids did have fun at the pool/ splash pad/ blow up slide. The staff was nice. For $638 for 2 nights you can find something much cleaner and with more amenities to keep kids entertained. read more

Sadly we could not keep a reservation for Columbus Day weekend due to our daughter's illness. Our daughter has a chronic illness and she had a flare up. This is beyond our control . We understand that the park has a refund policy and that we did not meet it's criteria of canceling more than 7 Days before our expected arrival. I appreciate this however sometimes there are circumstances beyond one's control. We are very disappointed in the Management's decision and will think twice about booking at this Yogi Bear Campgrounds in the future. read more

This is kinda funny because I have actually never stayed at a Jellystone Park. And now I know for sure, I never will. This is a warning to anyone who is thinking about making reservations with this company !! I have made only 2 reservations in the past couple of years with jellystone in two different states. Both times reservations was made on the phone. Beware when they want a large deposit because you won't get it back. There cancellation policy is a joke !!! Not all jellystone rv parks are like this. But unfortunately, the headquarters allows all they're parks to make up their own policies. My advise is never make reservations with this company and you won't have to worry about their cancellation policy. read more

We stayed in a deluxe cabin over the 4th of July week. I was disappointed that it wasn't a real cabin. It's a trailer with wood siding. It's swept clean but don't walk barefoot or just in socks because it will become dirty. My cabin #80 had a few damage spots. The floor by the bed had 2 spots where one was covered by duct tape. In the bathroom there was a hole by the shower and it looks like someone stuck gum in it. The beds were not comfortable. The description said we'd get a futon but we had a pull out couch. The mattress was so thin you could feel every metal part. I liked that they had plates, bowls, silverware, mugs, glasses, and a few cooking and baking items. Make sure to bring bug spray. The flies come into the cabin when we were bringing our things in. You'll also get to see a few ants in the bathroom every morning. This park is definitely for families with young children. Even if you have young children I wouldn't stay more than 2 nights. There just aren't enough activities to keep you occupied. The daily activities start early in the morning and through the day and most cost extra. The pictures of the water park are deceiving in size. It is only for little kids. The pool fills up quickly. They have 2 inflatable water slides. They offer fishing but it's for little ones because they only have guppies. Volleyball net is available but the sand got so hot it burned our skin. Definitely need to cover up. You can get balls on deposit. They claim to offer WiFi but we never got any WiFi service. My teens ended up using up our mobile data. We ended up going outside camp for better activities for my teens. If you know you'll be back at camp after 8 p.m. make sure to get a gate pass. It's also on deposit. It was nice and quiet. The air conditioner covers any noises anyway. If you have young children and enjoy camping then you might enjoy this place. read more

Update: The same night that I posted the above review, someone stole a cooler full of drinks from the site next to us, and stole the drinks out of our outdoor refrigerator. When I called Security the next day, I was told that they would take care of it if they found out who did it. I asked what they would do in the meantime - hint hint... looking for "We will patrol your street a little more than normal. We are sorry this happened". Nothing. That's what they said they would do in the meantime. Nothing. I realize it's not their fault that our stuff was stolen, but if I was the manager? I would definitely apologize to my unhappy customers and let them know that I would take extra security measures to make them feel a little more at ease. Not this place... Never again. We are done with this place. read more

Pros: Jellystone campground is an okay as far as campgrounds go. They offer daily activities, a playground, pool and even a small waterpark. My kids really enjoyed all the amenities. Cons: Most camp sites are covered with such a fine dirt, almost a sand...the children were filthy from sun up til sundown through no fault of their own. Dust is visible in the air, it's so thick. The pool has no lifeguard and minimal staff at the waterpark. Bathrooms needed more than a touch up. I don't think they were cleaned during the busy holiday weekend we were there. read more

Went here as a last minute change in our camping plans. Is close to home and was surprised to see it...I thought I knew what was in South Jersey! lol. We tent camp, so don't have issues with RVs, etc. The staff was very nice and accommodating when we called two hours before we arrived. Camp sites were a little hard to differentiate, but luckily we only had people one one side of us, so I think both of our parties took up a bit more space than maybe we should have. There are a ton of bugs...I'm surprised to see the negative reviews about this...lol...you're camping. Our site had access to both electricity and water. We were there from Sun-Thurs so it was pretty dead, which was perfect to us. The splash pad and pool areas may not be as big as some of the other jellystones, but they're not advertised to be. If I was looking for laser tag and jump houses I wouldn't be going to a camp site. Only reason I marked it down a star was because the bathrooms could probably be updated quite a bit. Those by the pool were gross...wet all the time and little to no ventilation. Those by our site were private, which was nice, but no ventilation so always a wet floor and people were smoking and smoking up in side of them. The other reason was that the pool refreshment counter doesn't open on M or T, so that was disappointing. The giant blow up slide looked like it needed a good cleaning and my husband said he smelled mildew. These were just small issues in my opinion. We had a great time and the people were very friendly. read more

This is our third time going to this campground and it is nice for a couple of days. Pool and splash area nice for the kids and cabin is is clean and comfortable . Staff at check in and camp store are very nice .Other than that there is not much to do during the week. I tried to entertain my 5 year old by setting up a pop up play tent by the cabin and some older maintenance worker comes flying into site on a cart saying I have to take it down . Staff seemed like they knew nothing about how to run a campground. We were greeted with a "are you lost?" And giving me a nasty attitude If I didn't have a car load of kids with me my jersey attitude would of had some very choice words for the wanna be park ranger. Arcade machines all busted and not working nothing like having a group of kids excited to play some outdated junk arcade only to lose all their quarters. In other words go camping in a wawa parking lot it will be a lot more fun read more
