For a school trip on June 3, I was there as a chaperone for my kids.. well later on in the day, there was this one lifeguard. not sure of her name but she wore glasses and had blonde hair, skinny and tall. This lifeguard is a monster! She should be fired. First off, she wasn't doing her job and said to the children "yo, stop splashing me, go move somewhere else" in a rude tone acting like getting wet isn't part of her job. Second there were kids almost drowning and she did nothing about it, instead she yelled at kids for sitting on the ledge of the pool and when my daughter responded with just an "okay", she flipped out and told her to get out of the pool for giving an attitude, then when my daughter and her friends were passing by, she called them fat acting like that won't have an impact on their self image.. how could a worker be like that? How horrible.. not only that but the place is dirty and infested with bugs, there were bugs flying all over and in the bathroom there were roaches.. they don't clean at all and the curtains were easy to see in.. I don't recommend going here for just that reason, but the other workers were nice, just not that bimbo lifeguard not doing her job..

This is a very special place. It sits on about 50 acres total of open area that has a pool and a large area for outside activities. They have one on one aides to insure the campers have no issues. It is well designed as well as being well maintained. Meals are provided but the most important thing it allows the campers to disconnect from their smartphones 7 video games and start to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. We went there to see for ourselves how it was and were very impressed with the staff as well as he accommodations that the campers stay in. We are sending our son there for 2 weeks but be aware that the camp fills fast so you need to register as soon as possible to insure you have the full advantage of the offerings provided. I had a very disappointing experience with Children of America in Sicklerville. My 2.5-year-old…read moredaughter attended three days a week, and instead of receiving support, she was labeled unfairly. Staff (preschool teacher) suggested she was "tensing up around Black children," which was extremely upsetting and inappropriate. I had already informed them she is in the process of being evaluated for autism, yet that context was ignored. What made it worse was a staff member pointing out that she was "fine around the white child in the room," which felt insensitive and unprofessional. My daughter interacts well with adults of all backgrounds, including Black staff members, so this conclusion about her behavior felt inaccurate and concerning. Additionally, she was placed in a baby room without my knowledge, where I did not have camera access. I was not informed about this change, nor was I notified that she needed more diapers--they simply used a different brand without asking me. Overall, communication was poor, and I did not feel my child was understood, respected, or properly cared for. I would not recommend this location to other parents.
